          I recently got the dome cameras and they don't have the FOV required for home security.
          Great for businesses or carparks. Not so good for the front door.
          (agreed domes are better looking)

          just keep in mind.
          I think best to get a 800D4 or 800B4 and add the different cameras.

          I just got a 522 also where the optical zoom is needed.

          I deal with a lot of CCTV camera systems and these are terrific bang for buck.

          these replaced my Arlo pro2 which were over priced garbage.

    Note that the camera mounting plate has no locking mechanism i.e. security screw or similar (such as those found in Dahua or Hikvision systems). So they are easy to twist by hand off the mounting plate. Very good price though compared to other bigger brands.

      Hi.
      The viewing angle for D800 is 87.5° and for B800 is 97°, other specifications are no different.
      One of the main benefits of a dome camera is that the dome can make it difficult to determine where the camera is pointing.

        Why do the domes have a much lower fov? Have you considered making more cameras with a larger fov? I currently have the b800 cameras at home and they are only just wide enough, I would have loved more choices for cameras with a wide FOV.

      specs also say the dome sensor is 1/2.5" and bullets are 1/2.7"
      meaning the dome technically has a bigger sensor (which doesn't mean much)

      go with whichever one looks better to you.
