      The vegetarian ones are great

Was curious myself until I tried it myself. They were surprisingly alright, better than Domino's $5 value range, albeit frozen.

Obvious not you, these are the best frozen pizzas.

excuse me, i ate these everyday during covid lockdown and it saved my life and my wallet

I tried a couple of them when they were on sale and they were pretty terrible, had a strange after taste that made me feel sick. I'd say even Domino's value range is better. Some of the refrigerated (not frozen) pizzas are better than basically all frozen pizzas I've found

its true i tried one to see what the hype was, taste was average, size was tiny, like for ants

      1/10 would not recommend

These are easily the best frozen pizzas on the market.

My personal favorite is the Quattro Formaggi. Just add anchovies extra cheese and Master foods pizza topper and wallah.

That's about $13 extra. So, $17 for a frozen pizza.

Shame you can't use those items on more than one pizza…

        • +3

Someone really needs to invent a way to keep your block of cheese after grating a small portion of it onto the pizza. Shame that we have to just toss it away and buy another one hey?

Just found my dinner. Thanks OP

  • Actually is this price also for the fancy, mint fresh IGA's ?

i would argue that these 'frozen' pizzas are better tasting and better quality than my local dominos, everytime it think its a great idea to buy 50% traditional pizzas and open up the pizza box made by the low-wage underpaid workers i regret it everytime.

  • I've always find it hard to actually find these in stock at the IGAs near me. Do you guys actually manage to get hold of them?

IGA's always have a second freezer section away from the regular frozen stuff just for specials I've found.

      • ah…. good tip, will look harder next time. Thanks for the headsup

Heaps of stock at my local IGA on gold coast but even if shelves are empty, 9/10 times i ask one of the staff and they have more stuff out the back.

My advice is to buy the ones actually made in Germany. The cheese is much nicer, i.e. actually tastes of something.

I can't remember all the variants but the 4-cheeses, mushroom and spinach all come from there.

The other thing about them (all) is that the base is far more like a genuine pizza, i.e. thin and NOT intrusive, just a vessel for carrying all the toppings…

What's the easiest way to identify the german ones without examining every box?

some of us like deep pan :)

    The mushroom pizza is amazing…..

Anyone know if they sell the gluten free one, and if its part of this promo? My Coeliac daughter loves them as a treat.

  • Has anyone tried the stuff crust version from this brand? It’s terrible.
