PX7 is one of the best wireless headphones I ever had, and I have had Sony WH1000XM3, Bose QC35, and Audio Technica ATHM50BTX and prefer the B&W PX7.
Nice comfy fit and really best audio quality.

Good price for this. Bit expensive than others but they certainly are better than other headphones.

    • But Sony Bose better in noise cancelling department, no?

      • Sony is definitely killing it with their noise cancelling, but I am sure these bowers wilkins headphones would not disappoint

      • Yes, Sony is better in terms of Noise cancelling, but on day to day environment the difference isn't that huge. I noticed the difference in Data centre with very noisy servers and their loud fans, Sony made more difference than B&W PX7, didn't have Bose at that time so, couldn't compare it.
But say in home, work office or commuting, I don't think it the noise cancelling would make much difference but the audio quality will.

I am simply saying for audio quality, these are the best of the bunch. Obviously, this don't compare to wired headphones like Focal Elegia or Utopia or many other high end. But best in wireless class.

        IMO:

        For ANC - Sony > Bose > B&W

        For sound - B&W > Sony > Bose

        For microphone - Bose > B&W > Sony

        For comfort - Bose > Sony > B&W

        For build quality - B&W > Sony > Bose

To me that's the frustrating part of this category of headphones, there's not really an obvious winner and each of the headphones have dumb quirks.

        • is this one ON ear or OVER ear?

I have the older P5 wireless and they clearly are some of the best sounding in this class and the best built however you cant really use them for long stretches… which I'm kind of OK with… if you're vege-ing out in front of the PC for hours… then stop.

          • @tonyjzx: Some dont really have much choice when you are on a plane. Granted not much of that is happening but we will be back to it again eventually.

        • That's the thing. When someone say oh why did you go with bose when then the Sony has clearly better sound than the bose.Well I never said they didn't.

The features I need is good microphone as I use my headphones for conference calls. So a compromise had to be made.

For those that don't need a good mic on their headphone I see why they would go with the Sony.

  • How does it compare to B&O H9?
