Dell UltraSharp 24 USB-C Hub Monitor U2421HE $291.50 @ Zotim + Delivery / Free Pick up

190

Another day another Dell Monitor deal.

This is the cheapest I've seen it listed. It's possible they may have the incorrect model - on one part of the page the 'E' is missing from the model number.

Dell U2421HE

23.8 inches InfinityEdge display
IPS 16:9 Full HD (1920 x 1080) 60Hz
USB-C power delivery 65W
HDMI (HDCP)
DisplayPort (HDCP)
DisplayPort output (MST)
2 x USB 3.0 downstream
2 x USB 3.0 downstream with Battery Charging 1.2
Audio line-out port
Stand lock
Height-Adjustable with Tilt Swivel Pivot
Vesa Mount 100X100
3-Years Advanced Exchange Service and Premium Panel Guarantee

This monitor includes an RJ45 port for ethernet passthrough via USB-C.

There are 13 available at the time of posting this deal. Proof: https://imgur.com/f7uHcEm

Edit: You can get it direct from Dell with price match guarantee.

Edit 2: Dell refused to price match this offer according to another forum member.

Edit 3: It looks like they're cancelling orders, claiming it's out of stock, and have raised the price to $399. After reading some reviews, this seems to be a common practice at Zotim. List item at low price, cancel orders, and then raise prices. I won't be posting any more deals from Zotim again.

Why are most of their monitors still such low resolution?

Your TV and possibly phone have more pixels, yet surely the desktop monitor is more important?
But the cheapest QHD monitors seem to cost as much a s a 4K TV more than double the size. No demand?

    • +1

Because not everything requires 4k resolution.

I purchased this monitor a couple of weeks ago. I use it purely to display my CCTV 24/7 that is connected to my PC. Given the screen image has 13 cameras displayed at the same time the resolution is perfect for this.

For daily use on my PC I use a pair of Dell 4k's (U3219Q)

      • All true, but you misunderstood. I'm not asking why 1080P monitors exist, but why higher-res ones are so rare, compared to TVs.

        • 4k isn't really an option below 32" & you wouldn't want it on a small screen.

Plus most home PC's have a monitor in the 22" to 28" range and judging by the monitor deals here on OzBargain over the last 6 months I'd say 99% of OzBargain members now have a Dell monitor, the majority of which are wide-screen gaming monitors!

If you're thinking of buying this but concerned it might be the wrong model number, just buy it direct from Dell and get them to price match this deal.

I actually bought this exact model only a couple of weeks ago from Dell, but not this cheap :( I got them to price match Mvaves price

    • Dell refused to price match this provider.

      • What was the reason they gave? I got them to price match Mwaves prices twice in the last couple of weeks with no issues at all. I used the online chat on Dells website each time to do it

          Detail Policy

          • @lastkey: Either i got lucky (twice) or this policy was updated/implemented only very recently.

Maybe it's like the Officeworks price beat…….some stores do, some don't on certain things. Luck of the draw depending on the store/staff member

            • @tight-ass: That's what I thought. But he did gave me a lower price of 420$ including delivery.

              • @lastkey: I had mentioned to him mwave link. He didn't comment on it but just said 420$ is best he can do.

        • Did the online chat with Dell, they said "Unfortunately we do not price match with the zotim website"

        • Online chat with MWave was a no go.
          Reason:
Despite not having a formal Price Match policy we do take the time to compare competitor pricing against our own supplier cost price and attempt to match, where possible. Unfortunately at this time we currently have a no discount [current online specials aside] policy in place due to the current climate and will not be able to look at pricing.

    • just buy it direct from Dell and get them to price match this deal.

Thanks for the reminder. I've updated the post.

  • Placed my order for 2 at 9:15am but was called later at 10:45am saying that they were out of stock and the new price was $399.

    • Thanks for the update. Saved me the hassle of ordering it.
