Virco N516a Gaming PC with AMD Ryzen 5 5600x & RTX2060 Super $1586 + Shipping @ Virco Computer

150

Morning OzBargainer,

AMD has officially launched 5000 Series Processors today, Virco is ready for the first deal with AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. According to the review from Tom’s Hardware, (https://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-5600x-passmark-singlet…) AMD's Ryzen 5 5600X was listed in the single-threaded PassMark CPU performance charts (via VideoCardz), and it's found all the way at the top, above even Intel's Core i9-10900K — by quite a significant margin, which probably the most valuable CPU we have seen so far.

We have 5600x/5800x/5900x in stock (see our facebook page for the photo), we have other two system list for 5800x and 5900x

Thank you again for your support.

Honestly this looks odd, no reason to pay the extra for 5000 series unless you're an enthusiast, still better to get the 3000 series or Intel 10th gen and spend the savings on a better gpu

For context, people that buy i9 10900k are gonna run from a 2080 super upwards

Yep, glad I went with the 3600 instead of the 5600. Not much to gain.

      • +2

ummm what? The 5600x is 20-30% faster than the 3600XT in gaming, for $50 (or 10% extra) that's quite a good deal

        • -1

The saving is better placed in a gpu, 5600x is only better if you're dead set on 1080p gaming

          • @ln28909: Sorry noob question, so in terms of gaming, which is better?
            1) 5600x with 2060super
            2) 3600x with 3070
It's kind of easy to compare each part but hard to combine them. Thx

            • @jus0212: At 1440p or higher resolutions, I'm 90% sure the 3700x and 3070 is better

    • Thanks, will hold off buying

Do you think this is a better deal?

      • My only concern is the psu, pretty much will have to be replaced if you're upgrading in the future, otw it's reasonable as is

Maybe try message them and ask for the 650w psu, as they had done that upgrade in the past with no extra cost I think

        • Not quite sure why there's no upgrade options on the website. It would have been more convenient.

      • man, If I could get that^ with a 2070 (and maybe a a 1TB storage) for 1500 I'd nab it.

        • +1

A 2070 and 2060 Super are really basically the same in terms of performance.

Based on the reviews the 5600X outperforms the 10900k in certain games and applications due to its better single threaded performance. The biggest bottleneck in this deal is the 2060 Super. Based on reviews you need at least a 3070 to notice the performance benefit at 1080p of the 5600x.

  • +1

Would of thought you would have a better video if you going for a next gen cpu

  • At least use a 2070 super

    • Yeah the graphics card is holding it back, a 3070 would make this a beast of a gaming computer and should make it last quite a while too.

    • We just add 2070 as option, hopefully this sweet up the deal.

  • I've got a 3900x should I upgrade to 5600x or will this be a side grade? I don't do much multi tasking apps, just a bit of gaming.

    • I wouldn't bother. Not just for gaming it isn't worth it.

    • 1080p competitive gaming maybe, 1440p or 4k no. :)

    • In the same boat as you but I’ve decided to pass on zen3 reluctantly need to spend another 1000 to go from 3900x -> 5900x (I’d want a Noctua fitted, hence the 1k)

  • This is a good deal. They provide fast build and shipping times as they use TNT Express. I ordered two systems and received them within 3 days from purchase date. Keep up the deals Virco!

Need the GPU to be RTX 2070 S to be a good deal

    • We add RTX2070 into the option, hopefully that sweet up the deal

      • +2

have add another RT 5700 XT in option, should be making more sense now.

      • +1

He said the 2070 S, which is the Super one

        • we can't get our hand on 2070 super anymore, hopefully 5700xt or 2070 helps a bit.

  • Really interested in this setup so I put all the parts into pcpartpicker (with the RTX 2070) and it came back with $1683 while on Virco it would be $1,666 shipped. Seems like a great deal to get the entire system built and shipped to the front door for twenty bucks cheaper. Is there anything that I'm misssing? Otherwise I'll pull the trigger. Thanks.

  • Micro ATX and is that the CL22 Ram again…?

    • Crucial Ballistix RGB 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz Memory (BL2K8G32C16U4BL)

    • CL22 RAM, that exist?!

      • +1

Yeah their last 5700x deal had CL22…

  • Back up to $1,686 now.

    • +2

Sales end, but we chuck in a 2Tb 7200 HDD to sweeten the deal
