Does it come with all those rgb fans and cpu cooler as per the image?

Edit: ok I see that these are options.

    • +2

That's right, these are options. Photo of the fans is just to showcase Darkflash's new Cases, fans and coolers!

If you feel it is necessary I am happy to include photos without the fans.

      • +3

Yeah, would be great if you could just so we can see what we'll be getting for the base price :)

      • Yeah too I would prefer to see a photo of the system without the rgb fans and air cooler.

        • +2

I will get one posted up tomorrow when I have proper lighting!

          • +26

@Titan Tech: Fans should be included in standard build.

No need to be RGB but for the components you are putting togethor(medium to high end gaming) and the standard temperature variations in this country…..a minimum of basic cooling fans is mandatory .

It is irresponsible for you to not include it in your base build. If you need to increase the price so be it or provide another case with fans included.

            • +10

@cheapaschips: Yep even the cheapest PC have case fans. The price is misleading, should be $2077 including case fans.

            • +1

              @cheapaschips: +1

So OP are you saying mesh case so no fans? If so why so.

              • @havebeerbelywillsumo: Apologies, I have been swamped with over 100 messages (152 to be exact), plenty of emails, calls and orders.

Trying to get back to everyone but focusing on people who have already ordered.

I personally use this case myself and understand it has great airflow. Combining the power supply fan, the CPU fan and the GPU's 3x fans I have not had any thermal issues with the benchmark PC I was using.

The case be default comes with no fans. However since reading you comments we have been including 1x NON RGB 120mm, rear case fan, for free.

As promised photos of the PC without fans will be posted shortly.

                • +4

@Titan Tech: No offense here, but your benching PC would be under controlled conditions..and most likely an air conditioned office.

Try benching the same PC in a normal Australian summer in 35-40+ degree heat in a closed room. This is where most of PCs will sit for a part of there lives.

Once again this is a medium to high end build. This means a lot of parts are working hard, therefore a lot of heat. If this was a basic office PC it may be passable(even then I would personally include fans)

Your inclusion of a rear fan is a good start but it would need at least 2 fans at the front as well to provide proper year round air flow.

Don't get me wrong here. I appreciate the deal and it is cracking value and great to have competition with Techfast.. but this is a big oversight and can be rectified easily(put in some basic fans and add $10 to $20 to the price)

As you are the seller and build experts it is your duty of care required here to ensure "noobs" who don't know any better buying these PCs for there son/daughter/friend/self don't get caught out.

            • +2

@cheapaschips: Yeah, I agree with this. Absolutely mandatory!

          • +2

@Titan Tech: Are you going to address not including mandatory case fans by default or just ignore us?

            • +1

@Ryballs: @Ryballs: Apologies, I have been swamped with over 100 messages (152 to be exact), plenty of emails, calls and orders.

              • +2

@Titan Tech: No case has great airflow without at least one case fan as the air cannot flow without one. The fans you mention just produce hot air they don't expel that air from the case (with exception of PSU which only really exhausts its own heat). Thanks for including a rear case fan.

      • In CPU upgrades you have 5800x stated as ryzen 5, you mean ryzen 7 right?

        • Thank you! How embarrassing, lazy copy paste. Contact me on the website for a free shipping coupon!

  • +13

So this looks to be a good Sydney based alternative to Techfast, but I am similarly confused about the fan situation.. does it literally come with no fans in the standard build, and if so, why do the photos all seem to have 7 case fans, which isn’t even one of the fan package options?

    • -1

Those are the AIO cooler radiator fans I think (2-3 of them). They're the same brand as the case fans.

      • There is no AIO in all the photos.

        • +1

They're just stock photos. Rep will provide us with real photos tomorrow.

    • Yep, I just put in my order and came out to be significantly cheaper than techfast plus its easy pick up near Central. Woo hoo hello 1440p @ 144hz

      • Can you tell what is your order? Component lists?

    • +1

What are the delivery / pick up build times?
Seems like a lot of orders, 1-2 weeks?

  • +7

    Verii nyice

    • +6

      Wahh wahwee!

      • +4

        Great success!

  • OP is it possible to change the PSU?

    • +3

Sure, what are you after? I can add them in as options now.

      • +16

Corsair, EVGA, Silverstone Strider (Gold) 750w.

You should also provide options for x570 boards. MSI tomahawk, Asus if possible.

  • +1

    Solid list.

  • Any chance of 3080?

    • +4

We have no current ETA's for 3080's. The only stock we can find is around 1800 per card.

  • +1

    any deal for the rtx3080?

  • Feels bad for the other pc

    https://titantechit.com/computers/

  • Is it possible to buy without ram?if so how much does it bring it down? I still have a few 16gb sticks.

    • +4

Shoot us a message through the website and we can work something out!

  • Nice looking build! Any chance of an option to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU?

    • Gaming or you need it for a bit of productivity? Gaming it seems the 5600X and 5800X are very close…

      • Primarily for productivity; the extra core / thread count really helps keep everything humming along smoothly with running some development environments.

        • +1

Maybe see if you can land a 5900X then loll that'll def hum!

        • +3

I suggest you spend the extra $160 and get the 5900x.

      • +1

Ye the 5800x doesn't really make much sense at its current price point, if you're willing to pay $250 more for the 5800x you might as well pay another $160 for the 5900x. If the 5800x were $100 - $150 cheaper then I would probably think it's a good deal.

    • They've added the option

  • +1

What is the price of 3600x+2070super now

    • +4

I will update this tomorrow, likely around 1600 roughly.

      • I look forward to this deal

        • +2

I would recommend you spend the extra $400 for this deal instead, the performance of the 3070 is massively more than the 2070, considering this it will probably be cheaper in the long run since you won't have to upgrade for a much longer period.

          • @Aequitas: you got a point hey, very intriguing. if i am to pull trigger on this deal, I will definitely be upgrading the SSD & PSU to P1 1TB & Corsair RM750 respectively so that easily push the cost to $2,200.

if I swap the CPU & GPU (via PCPartPicker) to 3600 & 5700 XT (PowerColor Red Dragon), the extra is $500.
if I swap the CPU & GPU (via PCPartPicker) to 3600 & 2070 Super (Gigabyte Gaming OC 3x), the extra is $300.

you definitely got a point with 2070 Super but 5700 XT … sigh decision decision; why am I so indecisive.

            • +2

@[Deactivated]: @camavinga Don't think about the price as much as the performance per $, yes the 3070 is more expensive than the 5700xt or the 2070s but you're getting a massive amount more performance for only a small extra amount of money. A 3070 and 5600x will also last you several more years before you have to replace it, saving you money. Also there'll be a 3060 possibly in january, and the amd cards coming out soon as well so maybe wait for them if the 3070 is not right for you.

  • Can the PC actually work well without those "case fans" or "extra case fans"?
Is it common from other sellers as well? Only comes with case without fans?

    • +3

The PC would work totally fine without any case fans, however they do look nice and can help with airflow. But considering it is a mesh case I dont think cooling will be a huge issue.

      • +3

Just to add on the DLX21 Mesh would be the part of a handful of cases on the market where the entire bottom, PSU shroud and the top of the case is perforated mesh (dust filter on bottom does go entire length) for maximum airflow.

        https://www.darkflash.com/chassis-dlx21mesh-pccases

        • -5

Can you make a mesh case where the entire thing is a dust filter

          Just the bottom is…eh

        • +1

What ever anyone says, thats a fantastic looking case

      • +2

Thank you. Also quite a few people are looking for low-mid range gaming build. It will be great if you can also look into it for us in the near future. Cheers.

  • Would it be possible to get the option to upgrade to the 5800x?

    • Added :)

  • This may seem like a weird request. Can you send the individual part boxes and accessories that come with them along with the system? Or do you get them in bulk without retail packaging?

Just thinking of future upgrades and selling off parts.

    TIA

    • +12

No worries, Just send us a PM through the order notes and we can get that organized for you Mr Bates ;) haha

  • they have this Micro build which seems pretty attractive for me

    https://titantechit.com/intel-micro-atx-buil/

Is that a good deal? I'm after a SFF build.

    thanks.

  • it's insane how that cpu can compete against a 10900k

    • +11

And for $470! Everyone's a winner. (Except maybe people who bought a 2080ti a few weeks ago)

      • A few weeks ago, they were selling for under $1000 in the used market with quite a few with waterblocks, I'm actually sad that I didn't jump in and bought one, still a better card than the 3070

  • +1

This works out so much cheaper then techfast after adding the upgrades…

    • Hi, would u mind sharing which upgrades are worth it? Would the base be fine for gaming? Or should I be looking into getting upgraded psu/motherboard etc to make the PC last longer

      • Upgrade to 1TB NVME, Corsair RM750 but motherboard depends on your needs. Either the standard or the Asus X570. The Gigabyte X570 on offer is not a good compromise in my view.

      • personally id get the B550 pro ac motherboard upgrade, the 360mm watercooler upgrade and a 3 or 5 fan pack. Id also get a samsung evo SSD

  • Wish this was posted earlier

  • May I know the height of this case without the legs?

    • -1

The exact dimensions of the case are 448233493.

      • Thanks for the reply. I'm using a pc mount which has a certain height restriction so I want to make sure it fits. 474 is the max.

        • +1

We can change the case over for you if you like :)

  • +8

Great build . All are quality components and a price better than Techfast. I love competition and all the best to you.

With this being ready to ship this would be enticing for any people on current waiting list with Techfast.

  • +1

hopefully this is not another CGB Solutions

  • any option for no GPU? (use my current one until radeon 6000s release)

also if i don't choose fans is it really 0 fans installed?

    • -1

This option has been added Vince :)

      • im almost about to click buy, please confirm a few things with me?

items i choose standard, are the ones you listed on the 1st post?

Motherboard : Standard is Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 ATX?

PSU : Standard is Corsair CV Series CV650 — 650W 80 Plus Bronze Certified?

        • -1

Yeah! That is exactly right. These are the standard parts :)

          • @Titan Tech: wow what a quick reply, sorry 1 more question

if i order from you, everything will be preinstalled/prebuilt? or come in boxes and i build myself?

            • @vince088: Click the link. Read the info. Have your question answered.

              • @mickeyjuiceman: thanks lol

Fully Pre-Built with operating system installed ready to go
PC comes with full manufacturer warranty plus 2 year limited RTB warranty

      • Just ordered :)

        My order ID is #179

  • The pic needs more RGB lighting such as the NZXT Hue to properly make the unit stand out in its heavenly glory.

  • +1

Hi op any chance of a sff build with nr200?

    • Yes interested in this too
Edit: or generally just a matx

    • Yeah, these specs (well with an NVMe SSD), but in an NR200 build would be the perfect prebuilt IMO.

  • +1

I remember last year 2080 ti alone will cost $2000, seems like rest of the computer are for free.

  • +2

Has anyone bought from Titan Tech? I was wondering what their experiences was like?

  • Hi, any chance to have more options on CPU cooler and case? I also don't need ram and ssd as I bought them recently.

    • +1

No worries, Adding on no ram options now. Preference for cpu cooler and cases?

      • I'm interested in no ram too. Possible to include a noctua NH-D15? Not sure if shipping will be OK with a big cooler like that.

Just wondering if I upgrade to the x570 elite, will the front USB C header be connected?

      • Hi, possible for a Cooler Master NR600 (w/o ODD) case option?

        • Option has been added on now @jenkins14

      • Awesome! Do you have Phanteks Eclipse P400A? Thinking of noctua cooler but not sure if the d15 will fit.

        • I have added this on price matched to PC Case Gear

          • @Titan Tech: P400A Digital would answer a few queries as it comes with 3 RGB fans.

  • +3

    Don't forget upgrading to nvme!

  • +1

    Sweet times

  • My dream setup came close to 3000 :'(

    • Send me a PM on the website and maybe we can give you a cheeky discount :)

      • Thanks for offer :'(
        PM sent

  • Don't ya mean the Ryzen 7 5800X rather than Ryzen 5

Thank you! How embarrassing, lazy copy paste. Contact me on the website for a free shipping coupon!

      • +3

Wow, I really like this associate. Nice one.

  • This is a great deal. In stock as well!

Though I'm a bit worried about delivery and potential damage from freight company. What courier do you use - is there any sort of shipping guarantee/warranty?

    And do you offer pickup?

    Thanks

    • -1

We use TNT are are currently in the process of adding shipping protection which should hopefully be live this arvo.

      • Do you offer pickup?

Is there parking at or near Capitol Square?

        Thanks

        • Yea, we sure do! That is an option on check out.

        • Closest i would say is world square parking, i usually find cheap online pre booking. $11 weekday hourly or 13$ for whole day in weekend.

  • Your address is the same as virco - are you the same company?

    • Titan Tech is the online side of Virco. Virco is the brick and mortar store who look after building / distribution while Titan Tech is the online presence who takes care of marketing and sales / customer service.

    • I do recall Virco saying that they helped build some computers for them.

      Edit: ah, interesting

  • +1

I'm still in two minds over whether to get the 3070 or the rx 6800. Will this offer or one similar re-emerge when the new radeon cards get released?

  • +1

Great deal team, I am interested to purchase one although I base in Victoria. What sort of delivery arrangement do you have for that?

    • +1

We use TNT which has actually delivered next day for us sometimes. Generally 2-3 days tho!

  • If we order now, how long to ship to brisbane ?

  • +4

Great part selection and prices. I also really like the pricing on the optional upgrades.

Would like to see Kingston A2000 instead of the Crucial P1 though, P1 has some funky issues reported when the driver is more than %50 full and also TLC vs QLC in favour of the A2000. They are only a few dollars apart according to Staticice. Samsung is just too expensive for most…

    Keep it up!

  • +3

Should add the extra $cost for all the upgrades from the drop down

  • Do any of those optional cases come with fans?

    • +1

I believe every case except the standard DLX21 case comes with at least 2+ fans. Just google the case name and you will be able to see exactly how many pre installed fans come with each case.

      • It doesn't specify for ones like the gamaxx or phantek p400 if its the rgb version? Just trying to work this out before I purchase.

        Cheers!

        • I just realised that there are different versions of P400A.. I have already put in order but hopefully they can clarify things a bit more.

          • +1

@jus0212: Im chatting with them now. The mattrexx and phantek cases are the RGB versions

  • Is there anything you could do for 1500 or less that would be good with a monitor?
Trying to help a colleague at work buy a pc for their son.
    Don't need Windows license.

  • which one's better value - this one or the techfast 3070 deal?

    • +1

      This comes with quality parts.

  • Hello, wondering if Windows OS is pre-installed? Will I be able to purchase my own key?

    • +1

It's written in their link as below:

"PLEASE NOTE: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition is pre-installed on all of our PC's for you to enter your own license key. If you do not have one, purchase one from us or make sure to only purchase a key from an authorised microsoft re-seller."

  • Do you provide all the accessories that come with the relevant components. I.e. case screws, extra SATA cables, booklets etc?

    • +1

Someone asked it earlier here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/579066#comment-9573660

I've personally ordered and requested this, I'll update you once I get my delivery.

      • Thanks for that, I’ll just go ahead and do the same

        • Ok so yeh Isaac rang me there is a extra charge if I wanted every single retail box, but I only requested to have the the motherboard box sent with me with a the cd, accessories, extras, so no extra for that ;)

      • -1

I asked for boxes but they are charging for $40… May I ask what did you request and what's the response? Thanks

        • Did they give you an updated quote or something at checkout?

          • @jenkemjunkie: I asked the online chat to get that $40 quote to ship the boxes.

            • @jus0212: $40 extra? or 10$ ontop of the standard $30 shipping?

              • -1

@vince088: I asked for it after I have paid. So the response was something like "need to charge $40 because those boxes end up bigger than the computer itself".
I wonder though, because it says shipping charge is based on weight, rather than size…

                • +3

@jus0212: We will be contacting all people who have requested retail boxes for shipping quotes tomorrow morning. All leaflets, screws, cables and stickers etc (and any other various paraphernalia) will be sent with the PC. However sending retail boxes means a much higher shipping cost for us which we will need to reflect onto your invoice if you are happy with the shipping quote.

If you have requested boxes, please expect a call tomorrow :)

                  Warm regards
                  Isaac

  • +1

Anyone know if the B550 Aorus Elite V2 (i.e. standard spec here) will support 2x NVME SSD's and 16x PCIe 4.0? I know the Aorus master with 3 slots eats into the PCIe 4.0 lanes…

Not too keen on spending an extra $130 for an X570 board without 2.5gbE + the RM850 PSU (great pricing on that upgrade by the way!)

  • Hi is this still available?

    • Yeah the PC's are still available!

      • Hi Isaac, if you haven't noticed the deal is now showing expired. Cheers

        • The PC's are still available just not at the original price.

Keep your eyes out for deals coming in the next few days / weeks

  • Hi Issac,

For those upgraded to SSD 970 EVO PLUS NVMe M.2, do we got the Assassin's Creed Valhalla PC Game ?? (https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/ssd-acvalhalla).

How long from order to dispatch? I see lot of order came through.

  • anyone received any shipping updates?

    • nothing yet, though id imagine a majority will probably be shipped next week

      • +4

As promised most orders will be shipped late this week or early next week.

If at any time anyone feels it is taking too long, please contact me for a full and immediate refund.

PS, Free case upgrades were offered to some people to speed up delivery times. :)

        • +1

This is the way to do good buiseness.
. give info on timelines even if its not set in stone and offer something to sweeten up an anxious or unhappy customer if needed…

          Well done here 👍

        • How about those who ordered a RTX 3080 prebuilt in late September?
Would like some updates on shipping please.

        • 10th day, Mid week now and still have not received any news of the delivery/pick up.
I assume to wait up to the 12 days.

  • Anyone heard anything about their systems?
Placed order on 8th partly on basis of them having stock of items.
I’m assuming they got a bunch of orders but no news from them as to when these might ship and not getting any reply from messages or live chat?

    • I was told mine will most likely be shipped out early next week. Pretty disappointed.

      • +4

I know this is not what you want to hear however both of you selected either the Phanteks Eclipse P400A or Fractal Design Define 7.

These cases were custom upgrade requests from customers and as mentioned this will take a bit longer for us to get in as we had to specially order them in. Phanteks cases are exclusively sold by PC Case Gear so anyone who ordered this case is waiting on their shipping times, as well as our own turn around times.

Time frames given were last last week or early this coming week and we are still on track to deliver. I would like to note that the average turn around time for a custom PC is anywhere from 2-14 business days in Australia. (Or more), so to be quite frank I don't think this is to unreasonable.

However if this is not suitable for you, please contact me and I can process full and immediate refund for you!

For future reference please call us on 1800 011 341 for immediate support :)

        Warm regards
        Isaac

        • +1

Thanks Isaac. Nothing on the website said the case was a custom order hence I was wondering what was happening. Your update now makes this clear and would've been good to have an email or message reply to say this. Happy to wait but please let me know if my case choice is going to cause too much delay and I can choose a different case. Regards, Ian

          • @Guinan: In future I will make sure to add a note on the custom options mentioning the added wait time.

Rest assured we are doing everything we can to get the order out. I would say we will have all PC's shipping by this week latest.

            • @Titan Tech: Hi Issac,
Yes it would have been a better experience if there's notes about it or getting an email in regards to minor delays. For myself who hasn't bought a new PC for the last 8 years, surely don't know how you guys operate in a store. While I saw you have the upgrade option there, I thought you have them in stock therefore offering it as option. Anyway, appreciate your effort to help and being available all the time. Great work!

              • -1

@jus0212: Apologies Justin, I have added a note on there for future reference. My mistake.

        • +1

Hi Isaac - Does this issue also apply to the Lian Li PC-O11 case option also?

          • -1

@jenkemjunkie: Yea that is right, this case option will add 1-3 days to your order time.

  • +2

Anyone received their computer? 100% happy?

Mine was said to get a case upgrade because it was out of stock. Which it didnt.

Did not get my motherboard box as agreed on phone call.

Did not get a power cable at all, had to go pinch one somewhere else

Other then that it's ok i guess lol

    • +2

Well, I am worried now with the issues you have experienced…
Have not received any email since I placed order. The only communication is me following it up actively.
Did you get an email before the PC was sent out to you?

      • Email update regarding your order has just been sent.

        • +1

can you please update me on my order as well? Ordered on the 7th, went on live chat and the person said he would come back to me but the chat eventually ended without any reply on the eta.

    • +4

I am also worried now that you have mentioned this not getting what you pay for.

I also have not received any reply since a week ago via email.

The phone contacts are all left hanging and one number keeps hanging up the calls!

This is definitely not a good buying experience.

      • -1

Hey Jay, the best number to contact us on is 1800 011 341. If your call gets hung up between 9am to 9pm it means we are on another call and will get back to you shortly.

    • Hey Vince, The motherboard box and retail parts have been sent in a separate parcel due to postage restrictions. Please contact me for a refund for any money / time spent acquiring that cable.

      • If this is true I'll be 100% happy, Thank you Isaac.

Dw about the cable.. this can cover the extra postage you had to do :)

  • +3

Isaac, i have a new problem.

i asked if the standard parts is whats listed on a earlier post. You said yes

so i should have gotten the Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 ATX

Instead i have the Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE (not V2)

Which does not have USB C. my USB C port on the Case doesnt work. wtf?

    • +1

Just an update, Isaac has promptly ordered a pick up of my pc to change the motherboard and send it back.

      Will update once it's done.

  • -1

    Hi Isaac,
    How goes?

Thanks heaps for the computer, it's finally arrived after waiting nearly two months lol.

I have some issues I'd like to raise with you, and which has left me a bit disappointed. Hopefully you can help resolve these for me.

I had purchased a customised AMD prebuild with the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming OC 10GB model, yet I received a Gigabtye GeForce RTX 3080 Eagle instead. You said in a forum post that customers will be receiving the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming OC 10GB models, not the Eagle versions, you clarified this.

Unfortunately the graphics card isn't even installed properly, and is hanging free of its PCIe slot but the back is still screwed in.

Could you please advise what's happened with these issues?
I've sent you the photos in a message, and please find my invoice attached.

Unfortunately, I had also to chase you up regarding updates, in which I had to be proactive in following up the order with you, and with the above issues this situation hasn't been a good buying experience I'm sorry to say.

Lastly, could you please advise if the Coolermaster TD500 mesh was something you had to order in, or was it something you already had in stock?

    Thanks,

    Best regards,

    Simon

    • +3

Just got off the phone with Isaac, he's explained the situation, which was reasonable, and happy to process any price differences. Pretty good.

Now, hopefully everything else runs smoothly :)

    • +1

Update; Problem(s) have been fixed, Card came loose during delivery, was swapped from gaming to eagle so we could deliver by the 15th of November (agreed date). Refund for card difference has been processed.

Note ; If anyone needs to contact me please call me on 1800 011 341 or email me at [email protected] as it is likely your message here will be missed.

  • If we order a system and choose to pick up rather than get it shipped, can we get the retail packaging for the components with our system or does that incur an extra charge?
    Thanks

    • It will significantly increase the cost of postage so deffs be charged extra for it.

    • For pick up that is totally fine, Delivery will unfortunately cost a bit extra tho.

      • ok awesome. Thanks for the response

  • A few minor annoyances with my build. No cpu cooler retention brackets supplied incase you want to install another cooler. Some average cable management with rear fan connectors hanging over the graphics card.

    Other than that pretty happy.

    • Due to high demand we have outsourced some of our building to Virco and elsewhere. There have been some logistical issues. Rest assured I will get the brackets and any other paraphernalia posted out ASAP. Please email me at [email protected] with your order number.

  • +1

I noticed I can select 0 to 7 non-RGB case fans. It doesn't change the cost though. Can you please help me understand this option? 7 x $0 case fans seems unlikely.

Also the Darkflash case options say non-mesh, but in the description above it says mesh. What's happening there?

    Thanks!

  • -2

    Hi Titan Tech
Will you have any 3080/6800XT with 3700X builds in the future? Also, any chance you could offer the ASUS TUF GT501 as a case upgrade option for future builds?
    Thanks
    Nathan

    • -2

Hi guys could I get a reply if possible?

  • How has everyone found their builds that have received them? Still waiting on mine but I made a few changes that had to be ordered in.

    • -1

Plenty of people have not received their builds yet due to huge complications with Virco. Hoping to get the rest of the PC's out ASAP.

As mentioned happy to provide full refunds with no cancellation fees for anything who isn't satisfied.

Most orders from 140 to 200 have been delivered with a few gaps. Post 200 are mostly still waiting.

  • +6

I ordered two systems from Titan Tech, with same specs for both and they arrived yesterday.

The order numbers were 169 and 171.
169 boots up normally with no issues or drama.

171 has 2 issues. Firstly, its front panel connectors weren't plugged in, and I had to go through the painstaking job of plugging them in, since the cables management were a bit too tidy and left the front panel cables with minimal length. Anyway, this was not the main issue.

Front panel not plugged The front panel connectors are located at the bottom right of the motherboard in this picture.

The BIGGEST issue with this system was that the GPU is NOT WORKING. When I booted up Windows, after the AORUS logo from BIOS, the system just hangs with a black screen. After a restart, Windows diagnostic repair kicked in, then I got to the screen where it asked me to restart the system. Once again, it hangs with a black screen after the BIOS logo.

I thought it was a boot order issue, so I went into to BIOS setting. The screen displayed green artifacts all over it. To be certain that it is the GPU, I took it out and plugged it into 169, and 169 immediately got BSOD when I booted up. After restarting, it experienced the same behaviours I described above.
    BIOS screen green artifacts

I'm not sure if anyone else has the same issue with their GPU or I'm just unlucky here getting a faulty GPU.

171 also got the wrong SSD installed as well. I ordered a P1 Crucial 500Gb NVMe SSD, but instead I got a Kingston A2000 500Gb NVMe SSD.
    Wrong SSD

I've sent email to [email protected], tried to ring 1800 011 341, sent messages via the chat support and even rang the cellphone number that Issac provided , but so far with no luck as of yet. Will update this once I got a response from Titan Tech.

    • Those rookie errors and wrong parts don't instill me with confidence in Titan Tech :(

      • @trainingwheelz well, it's hard to fault Titan Tech here since they only manage the orders. It's their contractor, Virco, who builds these orders are the main fault here. It seemed Virco rushed through quite many these orders without doing a quality job of the putting the builds together and properly testing them prior to shipping, hence these rookie errors. In my example, 169 had a really terrible cable management job, with strange cable routing all around the motherboard and the LED controller was visible instead of hidden behind the panel, but at least it worked. On the other hand, 171 had a OK cable management, but ran into rookie errors such as not connecting front panel and didn't even boot up the system for testing.

At the same time, I'd say Titan Tech shares a bit of the responsibility here, since they did not anticipate for the huge demand for this deal, leading to all these shenanigans. They should work on better planning to properly predict how much orders they can take in and guarantee to deliver, instead of getting more they can bite and suffer from that.

Nonetheless, I've managed to arrange with Issac at Titan Tech to send back the faulty GPU for a refund, since I've already bought a new 3070 from PLE to replace this. I know I'm paying a higher price for retailer, but it's not that much of a gap for me. Also, I'd be paying the same amount for delivery anyway since I live in Perth and the delivery time is not great either, especially amid the pandemic.

        • Thanks for the explanation. It's just that the idea of paying a professional to do the build for you, and then they send it out without even checking it all works properly!!?? That's bad for business.

  • -1

Pulled the trigger - 259. In spite of the above hiccups, it seems a very competitive deal and it appears protocols have been changed/improved since the outsourcing issue. After trying to reach the 1800 line a few times I got pretty great service, patiently advising on the different options. (Y)

  • +1

198 here. Been in constant communication with Isaac as I made modifications to the original order. He has gone out of he's way to help me so far. Can't fault the service just hope the build is of the same quality.

    • what mods did you make ?

      • I got the phanteks p500a case as 400a didn't fit my CPU cooler. A cooler master CPU cooler and then just the upgrade options on the website x570 tomahawk mobo, 1tb name, 850w power supply

  • +2

    261 Here
1st computer in 10yrs, seems like there's a few of us.
Happy with this deal overall and I changed the case to the NZXT 510

    • Going from a GTX670 here, so all the 'hugely' adverbs excite me.

    • I still have a 11 year old x58 system running 6t12t at 4.2ghz

      • wow im not the only one?

        i have x58 orignally with i7-920

bought a new ssds, gpus & cpu to keep it alive to now W3680 6c-12t 4.1ghz

this pc been with me for 12 years lol

        • Mine running a x5690, it's a great system only weakness is ram speed. I still use this build frequently

  • -2

    Hi Titan Tech
Can you add the ASUS TUF GT501 as a case option for this build please?
    Thanks

  • Let me just say I have a great deal of respect for Techfast, I did not know anything about computer parts about five months ago, but from that time to now have been reading over various deals in different places and can see what a good business model it is (unless of course Ozbargain and Titan Tech are fronts, but that's probably not the case)

So having said that can I ask for those who are more technological savvy when I look at the costs with this arrangement and that of the new and very impressive Ryzen 7/3070 combination from TechFast (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/585050) these both appear to be of similar price ranges when this deal is adjusted for having a slightly better selection of parts

If that would be generally true can I ask if there might be another forthcoming deal with a Ryzen 7 3700 because I imagine the additional power of the newer processors is just too much for any of my requirements, yes I enjoy playing games but I don't need to pay that much more than what is available at this time. Also I have to say reading about the various complications that have arisen is very unfortunate, I am really sorry for those difficulties and hope everyone involved (in particular the customers) can soundly resolve those problems and continue on in good faith with one another, but at the same time those problems might give some of us pause, although the feedback in this area generally seems positive even with a number of serious concerns recently mentioned

  • +2

my PC has been retuned to Virco for over 1 week, i've been contacting Isaac constantly to fix my problem (wrong motherboard was installed).

apparently the owner of Virco has been ignoring Isaac, so i don't know whats going on but its getting frustrating X_X

    • +1

Damn that sucks. Hopefully u get ur issues sorted eventually

    • yep that is what has given me pause with Virco and Titan Tech of recent, although I can see from the comments in these and other threads that persons are generally reporting how Isaac (the persons who operates Titan Tech as I understand) is helping as best as possible to resolve these problems. It is unfortunate because both these sellers are offering really good computers too, which is saying something with TechFast as the point of reference for good computers. I hope you can get your computer back soon enough. As an aside what motherboard did you request and out of curiosity what were the reasons for that selection

      • I did not change the motherboard or choose another.

They installed me the wrong one.

The motherboard listed on 1st post is V2, mine was the v1. Missing usb C connection

    • +2

Yep this news between Isaac and Virco is concerning as all my dealings have been with Isaac but Virco are building my PC. Would expect to hopefully get shipping notification this week as they received my parts that had to be ordered in last Tuesday.

      • +3

Yes this is not creating a good look for both companies, hope they sort out their end

    • Well, Isaac has been very helpful but the situation has been concerning for real. Hope everything is alright there….
BTW, I thought you were going to install the MOBO yourself and send back the wrong one?

      • They said i lose warranty if do that, also so they have to do the swap for me

  • Has anyone been able to get in touch with Isaac? I've tried calling on Friday and today but haven't been able to get through.

    • -2

Feel free to give me a call now! Been really busy over the weekend.

      • Hi Isaac, what's the best number to call you on, the 1800 is not working.
        Cheers

  • +3

    Update*

I received a tracking number from Virco

Hopefully my PC is coming back with everything done right

  • Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone with order numbers above 200 have had their systems delivered ?

Ordered 2 weeks ago and the status screen on the order have not changed and the 1800 number is not working at the moment as the previous poster said.

    • +1

Realistically speaking, try waiting over a month and bit to nearly two months.

I had ordered a prebuilt from TitanTech in late September and only got it mid-late November, and my order status screen never changed from "Awaiting Shipment". The graphics card I had ordered was supposedly in stock, but it was downgraded anyway and I only discovered this after I had got the system.

The system itself seems fine, but the prolonged waiting can be a toll, and you might get a surprise modification to your order.

All I can say to everyone is to be patient, and check your systems if there's being any mods you didn't sign up for. Good luck.

      • +1

I am hoping it is not a month. I ordered a 3070, which should be in more abundant supply than the 3080. I ordered as they supposed have them in stock and I could not be bothered building oneself. I am trying to seek clarification regarding shipping time from Isaac but no reply as of yet. If it is that long, then prob. better to cancel and buy components from the recent sales and build one…

        • +1

Just keep trying to reach Isaac, mate. I also ordered my system as they supposedly had the 3080 in stock, but I ended up waiting close to two months. And ended up getting a different 3080 to the one I ordered.

Also, clarify with Isaac the exact components you ordered and clarify if the mods you made to the specs actually made it to the build. I requested a case change but that wasn't acknowledged and had to chase up a refund.

Their systems aren't bad though, it's just the wait and requests sometimes don't make it or there's a downgrade to your specs.
          Good luck.

          • +3

@Ash Mantle: downgrades are not good unless purchaser is told and authorised…
free upgrade is ok but again it should be forwarded to client just in case the person doesnt like or think its ok for them…
good luck to those waiting as its a pretty stressfull thing not knowing when if you gonna get system you payed for..

            • +2

              @roosterman: Definitely agree, mate.
I only knew about the downgrade on the day my order shipment came through the door. I wasn't even told anything about being downgraded or even that they were going to swap it for something else beforehand.

Best wishes to everyone, make sure you check your systems! Good luck.

          • -3

@Ash Mantle: This will definitely sound rude but you were told plenty of times the ETA was the 15th of November.

@Paoda Give us a call on 0402 510 862 while the 1800 number is down.

            • +1

@Titan Tech: I wasn't told there was going to be a change made to my order. You acknowledged you should have asked me about it beforehand. If I could please be told of this beforehand before any modifications are made. Or if anyone who makes a purchase could be told beforehand of any modifications to their order before it is sprung on them.

I had assumed that the ETA meant everything in my order including my case change request would have been included in the build, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

            • @Titan Tech: "This will definitely sound rude but you were told plenty of times the ETA was the 15th of November."

This is also misleading. I wasn't told anything about an ETA through late September or through the entirety of the month of October. After only initiating multiple messages, you didn't try to make me aware of any ETA unless I contacted you first, was I even aware that my computer might be shipping. You also didn't give me a date in the month, only a vague mid November.

    • -2

Give us a call on 0402 510 862 while the 1800 number is down.

  • +4

    Hi just an update

Got into contact with Issac and hopefully most orders post 200 will be shipped this week.
Barring there is no more delays at Virco, that is…

    • What order # are you? 259 here, and was given a timeframe of 2-3 weeks max. a cautious fingers crossed i get it according to their provided timeframe/before xmas.

      • 220s. Apparently due to cancellations, some numbers get skipped so it's a bit faster but 259 might be a bit longer I guess..

    • Mine is #245 ordered on 23rd, asking to ship without assembling and it's not dispatched yet.

  • +8

Kinda glad I didnt buy in to this.

    • +5

Also glad. Cos goddamn what a mess.

  • +1

Gotta feel bad for Titan Tech….. just a little bit. Should have learnt Techfast's lessons when they started shipping out prebuilt systems 12 months ago on ozbargain. Lack of planning and consequent huge demand could see them in the red overall with the outsourcing to meet deliveries.

    • +3

…"Titan Tech is the online side of Virco. Virco is the brick and mortar store who look after building / distribution while Titan Tech is the online presence who takes care of marketing and sales / customer service."
Completely different companies says Virco. Who can be believed.

Should have stopped instead of letting the orders pile up. Tryin' to sweep issues to make themselves look good is not good.

  • +2

Has anyone received theirs and are happy?

    • +2

Should hopefully have mine soon and will let everyone know as soon as it arrives, according to Isaac was fully built yesterday morning and was meant get tracking in the afternoon but haven't heard from him yet, sent another message this morning. So all things go well will arrive this week.

      • +3

I picked mine up from Isaac today. My delay was the case I chose so I ended up picking up the components and will get a case myself.

My interactions with Isaac has been great and there was no hesitate when I suggested to pick up the everything minus the case, so makes me think he's got the core components in stock.

  • How long does it take to arrive after ordering?

  • +5

Got my pc back, got my correct motherboard installed. Got my motherboard box as requested.

Im 100% done and happy with my pc.

Just wished this was done right the 1st time :)

    Thanks Isaac@TitanTech and Virco

    • +1

      Great to hear that, mate!

  • +1

Got quoted 5 to 7 business days before I placed the order. (23 Nov)
Got told 2 to 3 weeks after I placed the order. (24 Nov)

  • +3

Do you still plan on taking photos of the case after promising to upload on the 7/11/20?

  • +1

Anyone got tracking recently, apparently mine was built on Tuesday. Followed up with Isaac today and apparently should have received tracking today but still nothing, thought maybe they shipped a few out at the same time.

    • Nevermind just heard from Isaac all good, cant fault the communication from him, just keen to get the PC!!

      • +1

I have been trying to reach Isaac through email (sent last week), online support (today) and even tried to call (today) to follow up about refund (should be issued in mid Nov but still not yet received it) and also a new order made on 23rd Nov. However, everything has been unsuccessful.
I personally tried to keep issues through private communication but it doesn't seem like it's working out for me so far…

        • Received your stuff yet ?

          • @Wrathie: Haven't received it yet but spoke to Isaac yesterday and guaranteed delivery this week, apparently the Friday collection was missed but looking at the TNT tracking nothing has changed as of yet (status is still collecting). TNT didn't really have any answers to what is happening. Considering it was apparently fully built last week expect it ASAP.

          • @Wrathie: Nope. Couldn't even reach Isaac since then. Tried online chat several time but just got left hanging till the chat window closes…

            • @jus0212: I called the 1800 number yesterday and it worked (apparently it had been down) so might be worth trying again today

              • @ryan1815: The original estimation of dispatch has long passed (23 or 24 Nov) so no point chasing it up anymore I guess. I have tried to email also but no reply. One concern I have is the refund of $2221 processed on the 19th has not yet received.

                • @jus0212: @jus0212 Happy to wait into the new year?

                  • @Wrathie: The only reason why I ordered with this guy was the 7-12 business day dispatch and items being INSTOCK.

                  • @Wrathie: Based on the post, it should be 7-12 business days till dispatch. I am really trying not to make Isaac busier than he needs to be. Today is 12th day actually.. so yeah I will see.
And yes, that bothers me a lot, that it was meant to be "in stock" and yet, the waiting time is way more than the original estimated time for the 2 orders that I have made separately.

  • Delivery status for PC ordered November please??

  • Ordered on the 27th of Nov, still waiting fulfillment

    • Same. I reckon he's hammered. to be fair, we were given quite a long ETA

    • +2

Ordered on the 16th.. Was supposed going to be shipped this week but no change in status of my order and no tracking number from courier yet…
There were apparently only 6 PC to be built prior to mine on Monday. so i am not sure what is happening………..

      • shucks man. i reckon you'll definitely land yours before christmas.

    • -1

Not sure why we're getting down voted when we're just saying the status of our order to see if other offers are in the same situations. There's been no comms or response from titan tech.

Most of us understand the demand and delays, just looking for some reassurance

  • +1

Anyone dealt with TNT much for shipping. The tracking I have been sent has been stuck on collecting since yesterday when I received it even though it said it was booked for delivery today on the tracking page.

    • +2

Same thing happened with me. From the tracking page, PC was scheduled to be delivered by 6pm last night, the email I received said some time today (4th Dec). Now it is stuck on collecting and scheduled delivery pending. Ended up calling TNT and they said that it wasn't collected from Titan Tech because 'it wasn't ready for collection'.

Ordered on the 11th, have a few modifications to my order (NZXT 510 Elite case, Z63 cooler & nvme upgrades etc)
Isaac has been helpful whenever we can get a hold of him! I'm fairly patient but hopefully I'll finally get my pc by next week.

      • +1

Yeah it makes me think shipping was booked in even though the pc wasn't ready (although he told me it was fully built on Tuesday)?? Ordered 9 November also made some mods, really expecting to get it next week as was told I would definitely have it by early December

  • +2

I think that this deal should be closed until the backlog is sorted or at least the description need to be changed. I am sure a lot of us ordered because it said there will be a 7 to 12 day shipping time. Taking into the account the delays, If the guy who ordered on the 9th still have not received his, how long will it take for someone that orders today? This is not a 3080 we are talking about. I think if reassurances are given, it should be followed up upon, not followed up with another reassurance.
    Just my two cents…

    • +1

Yeah agreed find it odd that I was told mine was fully built on Tuesday why on the tracking it is still waiting for collection, surely if it was finalized then it would have been collected by now. Just hoping to get it by the 10th but who knows at this stage.

      • +1

i've had my pc shipped by TNT twice now by Virco so i have a little bit of experience with the online tracker.

i can tell you 100% the online tracking is not accurate at all.

ring TNT, enter the same tracking con note number and you should get more accurate updated details

        • +1

Yeah just did what you said and rang them. They didnt know why it hasnt been collected but said they are sending a driver there, so I would hope it gets collected today. Should be fine as it apparently was fully built last Tuesday.

@ryan1815: Let us know how it goes

            • +1

@Paoda: Will do, spoke with Isaac and has guaranteed me delivery this week. Spoke with TNT and they said it needs to be rebooked for collection from him (think Isaac may have missed the collection on Friday not sure). Hoping all is good and get it this week!

  • For anyone following this thread
Had a chat with Issac today, he's switching out AMD for Intel to speed up delivery, hopefully to arrive by the end of next week.
    happy with that

    • Judging from Virco's recent posts stock has been low for the 5600x. Sounds fair as long as it is communicated to customers before the swap.

      • +3

"as long as it is communicated to customers before the swap."
        Rep needs to understand this.

    • This applies to all unfulfilled orders?

  • Called Isaac just now. Being told he's offering changing 5600x to 10700…

Also according to Isaac, he is going to call every remaining order to communicate about the change later today.

  • +1

Another for anyone following in case they have builds that would be due for delivery soon. Just got in touch with TNT, computer hasn't been collected even though was due to be collected on Friday. The order status on Titan Tech did change to Awaiting Shipment though.

    • +2

Spoke with Isaac should be on its way

    • +5

Very frustrating. It's over 3 weeks since I ordered and and spoke to Isaac a few times and nothing eventuated despite reassurances. I am sure a lot of you guys are on the same boat. The thing that frustrates me the most is not the waiting, it's being told one thing and then nothing happens afterwards. If it is taking so long for built PCs to ship, imagine how long it will take for others.

  • +4

Really frustrating with the lack of response. Absolutely zero communication and starting to feel like a scam

    • Remember CGB Solutions?

      • Nope?

        • +3

CGB Solutions had a really good PC deal. Seemingly.
Deal got a lot of interest and purchases.
Got into extreme delays. Rep ghosted customers. Did not respond much. Was hostile to complaints.
Built PCs that customers received did not have the parts as advertised. Rep misled customers.
Rep did not process refunds quickly. Was hostile to complaints.

          • @Tariel: Seems like fun times ahead :(

            • @TheMatrix31: Well, for now, Isaac has been nice to communicate with as long as he's available.
Refund that was processed on 19/11 has not shown up on my end though, which is a concern to me.

              • +2

@jus0212: That's a pretty big concern already. When ordering there was easy communication via the chat. All this drama flared up and I haven't had any response whether it be email, chat, call or text. Funny enough for me that the chat is now active, stuff I send shows having been read but zero response.

                • @TheMatrix31: No excuse for the lack of communication. Terrible customer service.

I have been up till almost 3am every night building computers doing the we can.

I promise I will call every customer with an outstanding order tomorrow with an update.

                  • +2

                    @Titan Tech: Actually processed refunds?

                    • -1

@Tariel: All refunds have been processed for anyone who requested them. I am sure a few people here can confirm. Having issues with @jus0212's refund as it is marked refunded on our system but apparently funds have not been returned. This was only brought to our attention today and we have launched an 'investigation'.

                      • +2

                        @Titan Tech: Hi Isaac,

                        How goes?
Could you have a look at my refund request as well? It was made on the 19/11 per your post on Page 2, and I've yet to receive anything. Could you also advise the amount that was to be refunded?
                        Thanks heaps!

                        • -2

@Ash Mantle: As mentioned before please contact us via 1800 011 341 or via our facebook messages. I will process this right now.

                          • +1

@Titan Tech: I had waited because you said on the 19/11, on Page 2 of this thread, that my "Refund for card difference has been processed." But grew concerned that jus0212 also didn't receive theirs from around the same time, and checking mine nothing was refunded, but thank you for finally actioning it.

                  • @Titan Tech: @Titan Tech
Nope, didn't get a call. The 1800 number wasn't answered despite several attempts.

                    • -2

@Wrathie: I have been on the phone the whole day. Tried to text back as many people as I could. Feel free to call right now.

                      • +3

@Titan Tech: Don't want to bug you after hours mate.

But it is a bit hard when you hang up, promise to text back "in a sec" and then completely ignoring subsequent communication attempts.

I partially sympathise with your situation of being swamped with orders, but it is a dilemma of your own making and customers shouldn't have to suffer for it.

                  • +1

@Titan Tech: Hopefully will hear from you tomorrow since nothing today.

                  • +2

@Titan Tech: Sorry Isaac but I'm done I'll be cancelling my order. I'm a patient person but 3 weeks with no response to any form of communication is inexcusable. Phone calls, texts, emails, chat messages, facebook message all not replied to… legit the only response has been on this public post. I'd ask how do I organise a refund but how can I communicate with someone who never responds?

                    • @TheMatrix31: Feel free to call me on 1800 011 341. I am the only person who answers the phone and I receive over 50 calls a day while trying to build PC's from order number 220-290. So yes it is very hard to reach me. Feel free to downvote this comment as I know most of you will. But we have been on OzBargain for almost 6 months. We have sold at least 300-400 PC's with plenty of happy customers.

I understand that wait time is far longer then expected but it is A. Christmas, B. Stock that is highly in demand and hard to get, C. 1 person trying to fulfil 100+ orders.

As mentioned previously my personal mobile is 0402 510 862. If you cant reach my on the 1800 number feel free to send me a text and I will get back to you as soon as I am off the phone.

                      • @Titan Tech: You're up to order no. 220 ?

                        • -1

@Wrathie: 223 with 2 people before that still waiting due to various reasons.

                      • +3

@Titan Tech: Shoulda put a hold on orders. At least communicate. Not make passive aggressive comments. Was gonna order. But not after this.

  • +2

Computer just arrived then, still at work so will check it out and post some photos later on today.

    • Thanks for the update, what order number were you btw ?

    • Happy and relieved for you, will be looking out for the photos. I still have no idea if mine has been posted yet or not :|

  • +1

I was 198 made some changes to the case etc so knew it was going to take a bit longer but just kept following up

    • wow, you just got order no. 198 eh.

    • oh boy, im in the 260s

      • +1

So waiting for new stock + build time = 2 more months for you ?

        • Issac called me on Monday, switching over to the Intel CPU
and he's looking to have parts today and have the builds complete by the end of the week to ship out next week.

But.. i've been trying to get a hold of him since Monday again and haven't been able to get through via mobile, website and facebook =\

          • +2

@Queue2Queue: Yeah, I can't get a hold of him either, he hasn't called me.

            • @Wrathie: Well I tried calling and was hung up on.
Reached out on facebook and was told he'll contact me in an hour (8 hours ago)
This feels more like a scam, i'll probably give it benefit of the doubt till end of the week as he said that's when he would be finished.

              • @Queue2Queue: I haven't tried calling yet, but have had trouble getting in contact the last two days. I did get a brief response that he'll be just a moment at 11am and i understand that Isaac is busy.

My order was waiting for a specific case, so I understand that there was going to be a slower turn around, but seeing messages that have been read on both Facebook and website get read without any response is frustrating. All i really am after is a status update as I have not heard anything in over a week, and there was a good chance that the case should be arriving this week.

                • @Cottonsox: I did order a different case as well but he said he would have it ordered and built with the same end of week time frame.

Having to rely on this thread for updates instead of Issac has been a poor experience.

          • @Queue2Queue: So he's switching over to 10700k ?

            • @Wrathie: Yeah that's right, but he's also waiting on stock for that

  • +3

Got my computer this morning as well. Order numbers 220s. I think mine was in a batch of 10+ PC that was sent. Plugged up and all good. Looks nice with clean cable management. Better than what I could gave done anyway. Overall pretty satisfied with product, but the experience could be better. If the delivery time had been more realistic, it would have avoided a lot of frustration. Initially it looked like he had systems in stock, but that appeared to have sold out very quickly. The subsequent postings should have had its description changed to reflect supply status, so people can make an informed decision before purchasing. I think this is something Isaac will have to think about in the future. I hope the rest of you guys get your deliveries soon. Also I guess a few of you guys here upgraded for Cyberpunk 2077, but it looks like it's buggy and likely will need a couple of big patches so a slight delay may be better in hindsight.

  • +1

Just set mine up all looks okay but upon booting up immediately ran into issues the screen is filled wth green lines all across it. When i tried updating to the latest nvidia drivers I am hitting a black screen and the only way to proceed it to boot into safe mode. Currently looking into it but got to go back to work.

    • I hit a black screen initially, but that was my problem. I connected the HDMI cable to the motherboard HDMI port instead of the RTX 3070 port. After I changed it, had no issues.

    • +1

You might be in the same boat as I was. I booted up my system to the same symptom, and it was the graphic card that was faulty. I replaced with a new one that I bought myself and it confirmed my suspicion.

      • +1

Yeah I am having no luck getting it to update the drivers

        • It's real unfortunate that the 5600X does not have integrated graphic. I think you should get or borrow a cheap graphic card to test the rest of your system if possible, to ensure nothing else is broken and give yourself some peace of mind. I was really stressed not knowing if the system is broken anywhere else and so relieved when it works just fine with the new card I plugged in, which confirmed the one came with it is indeed non-functional.

          • +1

@peteranh3105: Did just exactly that and the problem lies with the graphics card all worked with my old gtx 980. sent it back to Isaac to be replaced.

            • @ryan1815: Yeah it's a real shame that such a good deal is plagued by these obvious errors and mistakes. I've sent mine back to Issac as well to get a refund.

              • @peteranh3105: Yeah I mean cant exactly blame him for a faulty gpu but strange he said he didn't encounter any issues when he preloaded windows. Also not sure what the cable management is like for you l.

                • @ryan1815: It's a hit or miss in my case. I ordered 2 systems, one has really questionable cable management with visible RGB controller through the side panel (because I ordered the fan pack), cables twisting together and not routed through the back or bottom panel. The other system has OK-ish cable management, but they didn't even bother plug in the front panel connectors, which could have easily been done by using the provided G-connector come with the mobo.

            • +1

@ryan1815: I don't think the problem is with the GPU. I ran into similar problem. Initially worked OK, then black screen, no signal to monitor. Boot onto safe mode, uninstalled nvidia drivers and then monitor worked again. Installed nvidia drivers and the screen immediately went dark again. This happened on a new IPS monitor. However, when I connected to my old monitor, which is less power hungry, it worked without any issue. Interesting when it first happened, I loaded onto bios and a message said it has loaded into default settings, so the settings that came with bios must have caused issues. I suspect the CPU may have been under clocked to divert power to the PSU. Hours of searching the net and I suspect the problem is with the PSU. There is no reason why I would get a black screen after installing nvidia drivers, while uninstalling it allows the monitor to boot up. I am no tech expert but I am wondering whether the 550w PSU is not powerful enough to run the computer esp. If monitor power consumption is high. I am going to get a 650W PSU to try and see if it will work with the new monitor.

              • +2

@Paoda: Update. Not the PSU. Appears to be problems with Windows itself.
Reset Windows and everything worked, even with the new drivers.

              • +2

Frankly not good enough. Failed components is a big yikes. Needed thorough tests.

      • With Virco rushing Titan Tech orders out of their shop at this pace, I don't think any systems are tested prior to delivery.

  • +2

Looking like at this stage it may need to be returned to be fixed and then properly tested, cant seem to get past these issues.

I have also noticed the extra 1TB HDD I ordered was not included and also an exhaust fan for my case was also not put in to the build after discussing the adding of it, while not the end of the world they are issues that shouldn't be having.

Giving Isaac the benefit of the doubt but this whole process has been quite disappointing.

Also a few pics of the build and the issues Im having you can see here.

Pretty concerning as you would think testing would be part of his process.

Pretty big hurdle for Issac posting any future deals with the experience from the ozB community

    • May I ask what case do you have? P500?

      • +1

Yep it is the p500a, the 240mm cooler didn't fit the p400a so paid extra for the p500A

    • +4

it sucks you've gotten this issue - you seem the most patient and bearing among all of us. from my knowledge the back actually looks pretty good, the RHS is always a bit heh in that regard, but it looks like it's all been pinned down so it's not loosely flying around everywhere

  • I didn't get a response from Issac today, unsure if he receives delivery for the CPUs

Have people got their refunds processed ?

    • Not yet :(

    • I am still waiting for my refund processed on 19th. He asked me if I have received it after he investigated on Monday and I told him I haven't received anything. He read the message on FB and then hasn't replied since.

      • You know there has been no processing of no refund if you haven't received it by now.

        • Yeah.. I did message/email him about 10 days after but never gotten replied through those channels. He asked me for bank account to do manual transfer this morning. I replied the message already but it hasn't been read. I guess it will be another few days…

  • +5

Anyone know what our rights are to a chargeback? Obviously the parts we ordered were never in stock and he has the audacity to post another deal today on Facebook when he has so many unfulfilled orders? 7-12 days were never going to happen. 2 weeks ago he was getting the cpus on Monday this week and now it's Monday next week? With so many people receiving their systems with the wrong parts and issues I want to pull out.

No replies to my messages as soon as I ask about cancelling he instantly replies.

Virco have systems on sale and they can build it the same day. Upon asking Virco about titantechs comment earlier that they were the online and marketing side of them, Virco have confirmed they were completely different companies and he only uses their store as pick up store

Absolutely fuming, what turned out to be a great deal has gone to absolute shit.

    • +1

Gonna request a refund if he doesn't ship the system early next week.

      • 100% going to give him the benefit of the doubt here but I'm calling it quits next week

      • I'll be doing the same

Also seems to have removed his customer feedback/review page on Facebook.
        Not filling me with confidence

        • +1

Makes sense if it's getting hammered with negative feedback. It's not a big company we're talking about here, such things can make or break a business.

    • Non receipt of goods and services is a valid reason for a charge back.

Obviously try and get a refund first, if he is uncontactable for a few days, go for it.

    • +2

Damn, sorry to hear that everyone is still having issues :(. Hopefully you guys receive your systems or refunds soon!

I'm absolutely positive you're well within your rights for chargeback, your banks will also champion this, sometimes they'll ask for ways you tried to resolve the issue and in writing or through email, and you could cite the lack of communication and the fact he's basically not fulfilling his end of the deal - as well as that you haven't received anything in all this time.

Also really disappointed to hear that Titan Tech is basically misappropriating use of another business's name, that's really questionable.

Best wishes to everyone, good luck with it all!

  • +2

    Rep should be banned.

    • Well I doubt he's going to post another deal here unless he re-brands his business which shouldn't be a problem.

  • +2

Guys I'd be pushing for chargebacks if I was you

I'm reading lots of people saying they've been waiting for refunds processed a long time ago.

Its all automated these days - he's using big commerce and I'm guessing probably stripe so its literally one click refunding.

So people not seeing refunds in acceptable times possibly could point towards more cash flow issues on their end rather than anything else.

Of course I could be wrong but wouldn't want to see people ultimately get nothing back for being nice and giving benefit of the doubt if the user disappeared etc

    • He's probably using the money to order more parts to offer more products, who cares if it takes customers 2 months to receive their orders.

      • That's what I meant by cash flow. The problem is obviously no one going to order any more if they see the problems so the money dries up at some point.

        • +3

I'm sure there'll be enough disgruntled customers here for a class action lawsuit if its comes to that. If he has to file for bankruptcy he won't be selling computers any time soon.

        • -1

There are 2 customers who have been having issues with refunds, These were marked as refunded on our system from the day they were requested however for whatever reason these didn't go through properly. Over 10 refunds have been processed for other customers with no issues.

As you can see in these photos the refunds, to me, looked like they had been sent, but for whatever reason they did not come through.
          https://imgur.com/a/N9j0WTi
          https://imgur.com/a/wuZOD2V

Both of these customers have had manual refunds processed since it was brought to my attention that it has not gone through properly.

There is no need to request a charge back from your bank when you can message on on Facebook or call us. More then happy to provide a refund.

I would like to note that while the service has been slow, Most orders are only 2-3 weeks old at most with the rare exception or 2 or 3 orders. While I will be the first to admit this is terrible service and far to slow, other companies on OzBargain have been known to take 4-5 weeks for delivery and nobody calls them a scammer. We have been posting here for the better half of a year and there is no reason we would start scamming anybody no. I understand there are a lot of red flags but there are a select few of you who are really blowing this out of proportion when the reality is that we are working hard at getting as many PC's out as fast as we can.

TL:DR; No need to request a chargeback. Refunds have been processed for anyone who asked with the exception of 2 people who for whatever reason had an issue with the payment.

          • +3

@Titan Tech: At least communicate. Not only here.
Saying your part of a company when your not is misrepresentation. "Businesses are not allowed to make statements that are incorrect or likely to create a false impression." Unfair on the customers.

No need to tell customers what to do. They can file with ACCC or Fair Trading.

          • +2

@Titan Tech: The ozB community has been understanding with delays when communicated with. But you have dodged emails, FB messages, phone calls, texts and website msgs to such an extent that refunds and class action is on the table.

Even with your latest post you haven't even indicated when people's orders will arrive.

          • @Titan Tech: hi Issac,

Order 241 was mine, i am still waiting for refund about 2 weeks now…..

  • Guys i'm sure he hasnt been dodging anything i spoke with issac the other day and the poor bloke is just trying to make the quality better for us by splitting from vicro, i understand that delays annoy people but cut the man some slack as i'm sure he's doing the best he can with the now limited resources he has

    • +1

I am one of the 2 that has issue with refund. I personally think I have been trying to cut him some slack since he has been trying to be helpful whenever I am able to reach him. However, one bit that I think that can be improved on is what others are saying, communication, and I am sure Isaac knows it too. It may have been too late to amend it by now that possibly work is far too piled up with excessive orders (may be control it better in the future?) and lack of stock.

      • I understand that communication is a problem but i believe that is mostly due to him him only doing the builds by himself, an excessive amount of orders has put him in a bad position which i can agree on and i believe that he is working to correct this and while people highlighting their concern is important i dont think that issac should have to be dragged down by excessive amounts of backlash, we're all human and we all make mistakes so i hope that he can get the rest of the builds out soon and learn from this in future to better his company

        • yeah I think a lot of things happened that have not been entirely acknowledged by all sides of the community here, the comments by Titan Tech below may give some indication to what has happened along the way

    • Was never part of Virco. Despite the claims.

      • +1

        So, what's your angle?

You say you haven't ordered a system, yet seem to be the most upset.

        Just a bit odd. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

        • +1

Rep should not misrepresent. Rep should communicate not just here. Too much to ask?

          • +1

@Tariel: I mean yeah it is a bit when he has been building systems all day whilst trying to manage customer service, he cant do everything at once

            • +3

@TheFamousGroos: Shoulda put a hold on orders. Excessive orders is on the rep.

              • +2

@Tariel: Mate i'm not saying hes made the best choices but like why are you going out of your way to hang shit, yes i wont defend that choice while orders are still to be shipped but unless your comments will speed up that process why even make them?

@Tariel: Because he has heard the negative response and is working to fix them, you havent even ordered a system so why the (profanity) are you making comments, if ripping into small buisness owners is your thing then good luck to you bud

                    • +3

@TheFamousGroos: Posting new deal without fulfiling orders is unfair for existing customers. Real unfair. You can understand that one day.

                    • +5

@TheFamousGroos: Did you just make an account to come to his defense ? Titan Tech's PR department ?

                • +5

@TheFamousGroos: He needs to understand how to operate a business. If he kept everyone in the loop instead of having to win the lottery to get in touch with him it would be great. Most part of the day his landline and mobile number is disconnected. SMS and Dm's don't get replied to but he has time to create new builds for more customers to buy when these parts are the parts he doesn't have in stock.

I think everyone has been fair and given him the benefit of the doubt considering the huge influx of orders he's taken. At the end of the day he's biting off more than he can chew, and this post only turned outofstock when someone here called him out as the 7-12 days wasn't the case and either was the misleading in stock title.

All that aside what bugs me the most is once you pass that hurdle and get your system, it either comes with the wrong parts or you get green lines like above which prove the quality control or the post build testing isn't there when claimed. I'll happily give this bloke an extra 7 days or whatever it is, but when there's a question mark after that exceruciating wait, I become very anxious.

                  • @supersaiyanpotato: Exactly
Hopefully my system gets delivered this week.. but then I how will replacing faulty parts go if we couldn't even get a hold of Issac around a build and ship time.

      • +4

Hey Tariel, Luis, the manager of Virco whom was originally doing all the physical labour and building of my systems through, specifically told me both on the phone and via text (Proof can be provided if really needed) that I am welcome to use Virco as my shopfront and that I would take care of the online customer service and marketing whilst they do the building, delivery and tech work.

In no way what I said was a lie, it may be outdated since they have decided to cut me out by posting on Oz Bargain themselves and prioritizing their builds over mine causing, in effect causing huge delays in ordering of stock and having to rebuild multiple PC's which have had issues they built, but definitely not a lie, that is offensive that you would even suggest that. I am a 22 year old trying to start an honest business here and you're making me out like some huge scammer trying to screw everyone over when its simply not true.

I am one man trying to build 100+ PC's which was thrown upon me out of no where after whom I thought was my partner made a decision to do things themselves. This meant ordering in lots of stock I didn't have, moving 100+ PC's worth of parts from 1 place to another, whilst answering 180 orders (customers) calls, texts, emails and Facebook messages. I have been up till 3-4am every night building PC's for almost 2 weeks now. I've ridden my motorbike all over Sydney for the last 2 weekends doing part swaps, repairs and part drop offs on some orders that had issues or wrong parts built by Virco (and 1 by myself). I am really doing my best to get them out ASAP.

All of this has been done will keeping ALL orders delivered within a 3-4 week time frame with the exception of a select few whom the customers didn't seem to upset over all. I know this is quite a long time but is the really so bad considering the circumstances?

Techfast have amazing service and great price PC's but there was a stage where they took 4-6 weeks to deliver a PC. I know this because me and a friend both ordered one each at the start of this year which took almost 2 months to arrive and that is what started Titan Tech. The idea that I wanted to delivery PC's quickly and not make the mistakes Techfast made, Alas, here I am, making the mistakes Techfast made.

So yes, I am 22, probably have no idea what I am doing, probably in way to deep. But is my heart in the right place? Absolutely. I want nothing more then to offer people computers at a fair price with the best customer service I can offer. I accept calls up to 11pm and will go out of my way to help with any issue even if it has nothing to do with the build.

Is the customer service lack luster? Yes
        Are the PC's late? Yes
Is this worth a "class action lawsuit" over some PC's being 10-12 days ove the delivery time? Not sure about that one.

I would like to note that I did not post the Facebook deal, I have a friend who has done that for me and is looking after all the Titan Mark 2 builds. So don't think I am wasting any of my time doing that.

I will say it again, if anyone is unsatisfied with the service please contact me for a refund, im not going to be a prick about it, That's is your money (and a lot of it) and I am happy to give it back if you do not like the way I am treating this situation. So far, the only people who are hating this is people who didn't even buy the PC. So in my books, I am keeping most people happy to the best of my ability.

        • +6

I would also like to note that you specially made an account to make all these comments about a business you have not taken any time to research and just throw $%@! at us.

While I appreciate you are trying to look after my customers and their best interests, I think you are being incredibly rude and turning what was simply a slow service into a whole lot worse then that without having any real understanding of the fact that A, It is christmas B, Things are still slow from COVID and supply chain has huge issues C, There are new CPU and GPU's on the market causing huge influx of orders D, most orders are not even older then 3 weeks which is literally 2 days over promised delivery time. (With exception of a few orders whom customers have made many changes and or are still somewhat satisfied with the process)

Final note; Only 2 PC's shipped by Titan Tech have had issues. One had green lines from a faulty graphics card which had not shown up upon windows and driver installation. The other had the wrong CPU which I personally rode my motorbike over to the customers house and swapped it within 2-3 days.

All other PC's with issues were built by Virco due to lack or communication or whatever reason it was. Not trying to shift the blame onto them, simply stating that these issues wont happen now that we (I) am building all the PC's myself.

          • +2

@Titan Tech: Thank you for the background story.

What is the current status of the orders.

What order no. are you up to?

When are the AMD CPUs arriving and how many PCs are you managing to build in a day.

I think these are the questions customers need answered so they can make an informed decision.

        • Do post proof. Cos you make promises but no follow through. Honor obligations to customers. Do not dodge them. Answer them. Do not ignore them.

Brain wave. Get your friend to help fulfil current orders. Current orders take priority. Real unfair for customers otherwise. Or do you just want excuses.

Stop blame shifting onto others. Take responsibility. Keep promises. Do not keep dodging customers. Else all of what you said are dodging obligations and making excuses.

Was gonna order through you. Dunno now.

  • +7

    Received my order last week
    Love it !

Was a minor delay but the customer service was great and considering the time of year and pandemic it's easily forgiven.
    Thanks again, would recommend

    • Glad to hear it mate.

I have to vouch of Issac here. My order was 168, ordered on the 7th of Nov (2 days after original post) and only got my pc (in components) on the 2nd of December. I understand the frustration of waiting for the PC to arrive, I was on the same boat. All my communications with Isaac (when he picks up his phone) had been great and he genuinely tried to help to speed up the process. My main delay with a case I wanted he offered other cases but in the end up decided to get my own case and decided to build the pc myself. The refund for the case was also fine and quick. So I have absolutely no issues with Titan Tech/Isaac and would reorder from him again.
On another note, many 'happy' customers would not return to this thread, and why would they, they have a brand spanking new pc and probably too busy gaming on their new machines. Typically only those who return to the tread is they have have issues or questions. So unfortunately the last several pages of this thread has turned into imbalanced discussion of Titan Techs practices.
    Just my 2 cents worth.

  • +5

    Hi all,

Would also like to say I have had a positive experience recently with Titan Tech. I purchased the listed PC with a couple of upgrades including a water cooler, extra fans, and I am very happy with the system and the price I paid. Nice cable management etc, and system is working well in terms of CPU temperature levels under stress with the water cooler.

It is clear that some of you are frustrated with the wait times, and that is understandable.

Only thing i will say re the ongling discussion is please just be mindful with any accusations regarding business practices, as they can be pretty devastating for someones reputation.

    all the best,

  • +2

Hey guys is anyone able to give me an indication as to what order numbers have been delivered most recently?

  • +2

    Hi everyone,

Just wanted to add my experience has been mostly positive. I had the issue with a faulty graphics card and have sent it back to be replaced. Bit the bullet and upgraded to the iGame Advanced 3080 which I am still waiting for a tracking notification I was happy with the price.

I made a few initial modifications with my build which may have taken a bit longer to be ordered in (order number 198), some parts were swapped out but was fine as they were to parts I preferred Crucial SSD to Kingston (probably still should have been communicated). A 1TB HDD was missed initially but is being sent with the new graphics card. Every time I have spoken with Isaac he has been really helpful but I definitely also understand the frustrations many on here are going through.

I think the main issue everyone is having is lack of communication which I can understand as I made a point to be in constant contact with Isaac, even now I am waiting to see when my GPU and HDD will ship as they are in stock. But also understand he would be flat chat but i think next time less orders should be taken before making the deal out of stock (issue with Virco would not have helped).

  • +1

    yeah, disappointed customer here

order 21st Nov, requested for refund due to no message whatsoever at 4th Dec, still haven't receive refund yet…..

  • +1

    Hey Guys,

    Order #256 here.

Just got off the phone with Isaac and thought I would provide an update for those who are waiting.

Some builds (which I fall into) are currently waiting for an order of AMD CPU's purchased last Friday.

I was told he is hoping to have them in by next week at the latest.

I was also given the option to go with an Intel CPU but chose to stick with the Ryzen 5.

It seems like a logistical nightmare but Isaac seems to be working through it. He also let me know prior to my purchase that it will take around 2-3 weeks so I'm not too fussed but I can understand peoples frustration.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    • -1

Do you know by any chance if the ryzen 7 is waiting?

      • -1

Sorry man, not too sure. I think it may be both but I am not 100%.

    • Good to hear.. I keep coming to this thread for updates as I've been trying once a day to get hold of Issac since the 10th.

    • Yeah, thats what he told me last week but the story then was that he'll receive them by Monday or Tuesday (as in either yesterday or today).

  • wow, just read through all the comments.

I've received my PC from Tech Titan for 2 weeks ago now and im happy with it (yes there was problems but it was all fixed and solved.)

    • What problems did you have?

      • Wrong motherboard installed, wanted usb C working on front io

        • +1

          Lol

  • +1

Here to give a little update after talking to Isaac just now to help out a little on both ends.

Isaac is still building PC and answering all questions by himself. Many builds are just waiting for the CPU to arrive so they can be sent out asap.

Note: I have received my refund through manual transfer few days ago. So not I am also waiting for my order to send to me as I reordered on 23rd Nov. I am a customer so I can totally understand the frustration. Hang in there guys! :)

    • Cheers for update boss

    • The question is, are those CPUs coming this year?

Cause he's been saying they're coming "next week" for a couple of weeks now I believe.

      • Hopefully they come next week, would be nice to have the build by christmas

        • Thats a supply issue that hoping is not going to fix.

          • @Wrathie: The best is to find out if others having been getting their PCs in the last few weeks. I have only started asking about the progress about 10 business days after my 2nd order. As far as I know, he has been having shortage of CPU since at least early December.

  • I'll update my status too. Hopefully will have the system early next week as managed to get a hold of Isaac after my last post and been working our way through a few issues. I know he is under the pump and trying so hopefully a few people will get their systems soon.

    • Any word on if/when the CPU's have/will be delivered?

      • -1

        I'm guessing next year bro.

  • +1

Had a chat with Issac yesterday.
He'll put in a Intel CPU (even though we agreed to that on the 10th) and ship out end of this week.
    Order in the #260s

He said he's made some changes around comms by employing a guy to manage facebook messages.
When I chat to him, he always comes off as genuine and doing his best and I would happy to be a future customer of his.
Just the comms and delays due to his organisation skills (not his vendor delays) has left me sour.

Well we'll see if it comes next week because that's been a moving target as others have pointed.

  • +4

    Hey Guys

    Warm regards
    Isaac

  • Thought I would provide an update on my situation. I sent back the faulty GPU and Isaac received it last Friday. Currently still waiting for my GPU (upgraded to a 3080). Apparently he's supplier only sent them to him on Tuesday and couldn't send directly to me. I did think he had the 3080s in stock and he would be sending straight to me but seems he had to order it in which is a little annoying. The 3080 should hopefully be sent tomorrow along with the HDD I wasn't given initially. Hoping to get this all sorted by Christmas as being a November 9 order this has been dragging on. The only complaint is some of the vagueness of the communication and there often seems to be little issues that pop up. All in all still happy at this stage.

    • +1

I feel your pain, My biggest gripe is the inconsistency of communication. I am also a November 9 order, and I am waiting on my build (this was mainly due to a case that I selected).

I am hoping it is sent this week, as It was originally intended as apart of a gift for yesterday, and now Christmas is the fall-back. I am sure there is frustration on Isaacs side as well, and this time of the year for new products was always going to be slow.

  • +2

Well after being told it would be ready to be shipped today, my order has not updated and I can't get a hold of Issac shocked Pikachu face

    • -1

Mate, look at the bright side, you'll eventually get your system.

  • Anyone got them Ryzen CPUs yet ?

    • +1

      Can't even get a reply let alone a cpu…

      • +1

Come one mate, cut him slack.

He's trying to fulfill 100s of orders, answer phone calls, browse oz-bargain, respond to e-mails, offer free upgrades, trying to get ryzens for everyone.

Every minute you bug him trying to find out where you order is a minute he could've spent building computers.

        • Ha you've changed your tune, weren't you the one calling for a lawsuit?
I cut him some slack by not bugging him for 3 weeks, but there comes a point when I need to know if he even has my order.

          • +2

@LoomyC: I've seen the light, love the business model.

In fact, I think I'll start my own one man computer building business, get 100s of orders through, use the funds to order in the parts and work through them over the next couple of months.

Also I'll blame COVID every time you complain about not getting your computer.

            • @Wrathie: Lol can't help but laugh at the business model

I try and not to bother Issac that much, just a FB msg every 2-3 days after he said he would ship it as it keeps moving. I opted for the Intel CPU which he said he has in stock. I'm still getting the run around

I think I would be better off cancelling and waiting for boxing day sales from another vendor.

              • +1

@Queue2Queue: Yeah, I missed out on the HP and Dell deal cause I thought I would get Isaac's order sooner.

Don't think we'll get a deal like that again on boxing day.

    • +1

No luck for me either - I just want some 144hz with my tendies. pls gib

  • Anyone got dem Ryzens yet ? Were supposed to come monday.

    • +3

Nope. Today marks as 1 month after I was told that my order could be shipped out on 24/11. I could have bought that 5600x from PLE for $469 if I am not waiting for the shipment. I have received all other parts (including monitor) last week from everywhere else that I bought. But it's useless staring at them without the rest from Isaac.

I am glad to support a young business but this experience is really quite disappointing.

  • Anyone have any idea of the order numbers he is up to, doubtful i will have my pc before december ends but would be nice to know where progress is at

    • The progress I'm guessing goes as follows, you're waiting for your CPUs to arrive which I am guessing will be sometime in January.

Once the CPU arrives, it'll be slapped into the motherboard and your build is ready for shipment.

      • Also waiting on a new case as the cooler i upgraded to cannot fit in the original that i orded, thanks for the info tho

    • I'm in the 260s, I opted for the Intel CPU for faster shipping.
He said it was built on Monday and would ship shortly. Hasn't happened, I doubt that it's been built since I've heard the same story for weeks.

Virco has confirmed there will be boxing day deals. So here's hoping and I'll be cancelling this order.

      • Stalling has worked wonders so far.

I wonder for how long "next week" will work.

I mean eventually next week will come I guess.

        • By the look of the posts on the discord some ryzen orders should be coming soon, next 2 weeks tho sill be pretty slow i reckon if he has a christmas break

  • +1

-Over 10 PC's shipped yesterday with the rest of the sub 300 orders set to ship by end of the week.
-Courier's collect orders at close of business every 2nd week day.

My order changed from shipped back to awaiting fulfillment. Lol!
I was told my order was with the courier, but he won't provide me with a tracking number.

    • +2

Lol maybe he sent your system to another customer who was annoying him a lot more.

  • +2

None of the promises (simple as calling me back in 30mins) that Issac has given is fulfilled last year. Hope this year can be improved…..

  • +2

Hey guys, extremely disappointed Titan Tech customer here. After being directly lied to by Isaac on multiple occasions, about product availability, unfulfilled promises, planned dispatch dates and then being given false postage reference numbers twice to hide the fact that my product had actually not been posted out yet (confirmed by signature date on dispatch form), I finally picked up my PC after a 41-day wait (had to drive to the TNT depot 50 minutes away because my address was written incorrectly) only to turn it on and find that no OS was installed. As someone with no experience in building PCs, I am effectively left with a PC that I cannot use. I haven't had the chance to speak to Isaac yet as he appears to be closed over the long weekend, but at this point I'm pretty fed up with the whole situation. Once I've heard back from Isaac I'll update this post to let you know how he intends to rectify the situation, but for now I just wanted to share my experience.

    • +1

My recommendation is to help yourself and save time and just get a key from aliexpress for ~$8. Download windows creation tool, put it on a USB stick, and boot the PC with the USB plugged in then install windows from there

    • +2

Appreciate you telling us your experience.
I feel like I'm in the same boat as you as Issac has not responded this week.
What sucks is that there has been no testing on your machine.

      • +6

He's already got your money, he won't get anymore by hiring someone to properly build and test the systems, in fact it'll cut into his bottom line.

Anyone know what bait and switch means ?

        https://blog.mass.gov/consumer/shopping-101/shopping-101-bai…

        • -2

Not sure where you are getting your info but only 4 customers were switched over to the intel CPU at their own choice to save time.

We have actually hired 3 new people lately after the split with Virco to build and respond to communications, Bottom line is the least of my worries when I have orders over 3-4 weeks old, all I want to do is get them out as soon as I can.

@wrathie, I have PM'd you a few times, please respond when you can.

    • +2

lol how do you even forget to install OS as part of your building procedures? what a joke

    • +1

Hey again guys, just as an update to my original post on 1/1/21, I was contacted by Isaac later that night (was close to 11pm his time) who not only apologized for the mistake/s, especially in relation to the lack of OS installed, but also offered his immediate assistance in helping me install Windows onto my system. While I ended up working it out myself after a few hours' research anyway, it was certainly nice to see effort was made to rectify the mistake on his behalf. After further discussion, Isaac also stood true to his word and refunded the delivery cost and a little extra (total refund was $100 from a $2050 order) as compensation for the service I paid for but did not receive.

Overall whilst some unfortunate mistakes were made, I appreciate that Isaac landed himself in a bit of an unfortunate situation here and was doing his best to try work things out. My PC works very well and I'm pretty happy with it despite the difficulties encountered along the way. Cheers.

  • Anyone know if separate emails are sent out with tracking numbers?

    • I received an email from TNT this morning that it's due to be picked up before shipping

      • Thanks for the info, spoke to issac today and the rest of the sub 300 orders should be out by weeks end

      • Also how many days since you ordered?

        • Ordered on 27th of Nov
I spoke to Issac as TNT delivery is saying today for delivery. TNT tracking is not the best. (Albeit it was suppose to be shipped on Monday which would make this expected, and the Friday before, and the week before that.. and almost every week before that. All good more excited that it's on its way)

          • @Queue2Queue: Yeah ok, my order was on the 3rd of december but have made quite a few changes to the order since then, so hoping that it may be shipped if lucky this week or atleast next week

  • An update from my situation is that my order was not sent as indicated last week. Issac was very apologetic and offered me a refund as I initially requested. The fact that it's ready to ship out, i still went ahead with it.

I did miss out on a Lan with my mates because of skewed build and shipping dates, and being mid 30s that only happens once a year.

Oh well hopefully I receive it this week as it was suppose to be collected today.. still haven't received a tracking number yet.

  • Anyone had any updates?

    • Let me guess… orders will be shipped by end of the week?

  • any updates with order #? I'm in the 300's

    • -1

Hey Avatarz, Can you give us a call on 1800 011 341 or message us on facebook?

  • Hi Titan Tech,

Do you know when this deal will be available again?

    • Unfortunately, these prices won't be available for a while due to huge shortages. We have some other decent deals we can offer but nothing will be as competitive as our previous deals for the next month or two :|

      • -1

I am willing to pay ~$200 more for the same spec. Is it possible?

        • Yeah that is possible, although we have around a 3-4 week wait at the moment, feel free to contact us on facebook or 1800 011 341 for a coupon code!

Just wanrted to drop a quick note here for those of you experiencing WHEA errors with the Ryzen 5000 and B550 chipsets (in my case Gigabyte AORUS Elite v2 with this purchase from Titan Tech). These errors will crash windows often and randomly.

You need to flash the bios and it is a common reported problem for Ryzen 5000 cpus from release. For the AORUS ELITE v2 you need to flash to at least F11k or now F12 is released as of today to stop these errors if you are running XMP in your RAM profile. If you arent running XMP then this isn't a problem, but you should at least run your RAM at higher spec with these CPUs to get the most out of them.

This was driving me nuts with random crashes… hope it helps for anyone also experiencing this problem.

    • my motherboard (same as yours) arrived with F11 bios, i enable XMP when i got my PC, Never had a single crash.

But thank you about letting me know there is a F12 bios update :)

      • that's good news - I should have added in my initial post that the errors only seem to appear for ppl running at 3600 MHz. Will edit now. Just out fo curiosity are you running 3200 or 3600?

        • 3200, ah that's why

They even pulled the F11 bios down so no one can download it

    • EDIT: these errors are for 3600 MHz RAM only.

      • just a heads up, there is a new bios update F13a

        • Did you have stability issues after F11k? I checked the win10 event viewer errors and no probs after F11k so don't really want to change. I am on 5600X/3600Mhz G Skill.

          • @doggu: I never had any stability issue, so I never checked it…

I did notice my cinebench r20 score is alot higher then other people with 5600x, my score is around 4600-4650, did I get a special silicone? XD

            • @vince088: sorry I completely forgot you arent on 3600 RAM when I posted the question….:)

  • Received my computer
Working great, happy with the performance and cabling.

    Issues are:
I opted for the Intel CPU but received the AMD one
Screw was rattling around in the case. It was not screwed in to the motherboard tray.

    • Sorry we gave you the AMD CPU, The AMD CPU is slightly better overall for productivity and we thought it was better to stick with the original order as opposed to the intel alternative. Sorry about the major delays, hopefully you love the new PC :D

        Yeah dude, that's fine.
We communicated about the Intel CPU, so that's what I was expecting.

Loving the new PC, cheers agian!
