    If you don't need a laptop right now wait when the new ryzen 5x00u come up at the end of the year beginning of next year. It will be huge gains compared to the last generation.

      Current gen Ryzen 4000 mobile is still performing better than 11th gen in a lot of scenarios, based on reviews of real laptops and not the Intel engineering sample, in addition to having more cores.

      Typically mobile versions turn up 10-12 months after the desktop. The 3700x was July 2019, the 4700u was about July 2020. Especially with the insane demand at TSMC, I'd be expecting up to August 2021 potentially.

    I'm viewing review vids on youtube showing the intell 11 gen outperforming the Ryzen 4800U? I think you can bend anything to reflect different results?
