Would there be a problem to switch from Kogan (since they are both on Vodafone)?

    • +1

No problem. I have done it in the past and the port happened instantly, within 5 minutes.

      • There will be no problem. Might take some extra hours but it will go thru. Tried and worked for me.

    • Thanks for answering this for us @djoz & @AnirudhD.
@pitpicker, All you would need is a Lebara SIM pack and upon activation you need to choose "port mobile number from another provider".
Your port request would be completed within 4 hours. Please feel free to mail us at [email protected] should you need any assistance from our end.

      • Can you confirm that you still have small plan for 180 & 360 days? thanks!

        Hi out there,

I'm a Lebara customer who is looking at the Coles 120gb 360day plan because there is nothing similar with Lebara.

Are you able to help me with a deal? I'm happy to stay with Lebara, but only if you can offer something competitive at that price point. Unfortunately the present medium 180day plan doesn't suit me.

        • Hi there,
Thank you for your continuous support.
Please click the link below to view all our long term plans currently in the market.
You can either purchase a 360 day plan or stack your existing plan with 2x 180 day plans.
          Hope this helps:

    • I had a terrible experience trying to port into Lebara from Kogan mobile about 2 years ago, it took them (Lebara) around 2 weeks to port my number - and that's after I called them up almost daily to ask wtf was going on. I since switched back to Kogan/Aldi mobile - my 1 year prepaid is coming up and now looking at Coles mobile

    • No problem. Infact the opposite - in my experience, I have had a very fast transfer within Voda network (compared to say Optus network which is a PITA and hit or miss)

This deals only for 30days? Afterward we need to pay normal price?

    • +1

Offer is on SIM Starter Pack, so yeah, the first purchase is the reduced price, ongoing recharges are at usual rates. However, the Increased Data Allowance across plans is for 3 months, i.e. first 3 recharges including the SIM Starter Purchase.

    Voda, no thanks

  • Can auto-pay be cancelled?
Nowhere does it mention what the ongoing price is. Indeed, these prices look to be to ongoing rate, which I cant believe, they're simply to good to be true. The CIS refers to the old 'was' price.

    • Ongoing price will be the 'was' price. Yes you may turn off auto-pay / auto-recharge from their website login or the App, as far as I know.

  • By when do we need to activate this sim. my current plan in expiring in Feb 2021

    • As mentioned in the OP:

      • Lebara requires you to activate the SIM within 60 days of purchase.
  • how long does the $5 sim deal last?

  • If I sign up for medium, can I recharge each month with other plans? Say I'm poor one month so just wanna get extra small? Or even skip a month or 2? Or is this more like normal plans? Sorry, seems like a weird set up to me.

    • Yes, you may change by recharging a different plan each month (Extra Small / Small / Medium / Large / Extra Large / Extra Extra Large), note the recharge value for each at this page:
      https://www.lebara.com.au/mobile-plans/30-day-plans/

Or when you go to recharge using the Lebara App, you will be presented with all available options. Sometimes, Lebara runs promotions for existing users too which may be obtained by proceeding to recharge and then the offer is presented to you. It is not always mentioned on the website (for existing customers)
