PS5 will be available for order on Thursday the 12th of november ONLINE ONLY AT ALL STORES

Ordering update: The PS5 console will be available to order online only on launch day, Thursday 12th November, for expected delivery by December 15th. PS5 consoles will not be available for in-store purchase. Please check back for further updates.

                      @Thunder-Wombat: even create new accounts under same names or address or using same card, they will find out. I was told they have a team varify manually.
                      However, pre order the limiter is 2, so really interesting.

          Amazon purchase, mine was 17th to the 24th, shipped from WA (I'm rural NSW), arrived today as well.

          Confirmed delivery date after they dispatched was the 24th, but that's cause it can take a week to get here from central Sydney.

          Just plugged it in.

      Someone mentioned on here that they are processing each order manually to check if anyone is buying more than one console. If that is the case, then I wouldn't be surprised if it is saying error because they have manually get it to the next step once the check has been made. Like a 'proceed with order' button or something along those lines.

          Yeah you can't add more than one, but if you have fast enough fingers (or thumbs if you're using a phone) then you can put in a second order which bypasses the limit of 1 per cart.

    It doesn't look good. I had a look at track my orders and it shows the status = Error. I did however received a confirmation email.Don't think this will be successful for some of us.

      I got the “Order Acknowledgment” email from Big W, I got the “Payment Authorisation” email from PayPal, but I also have status “error” under “order history”.

      I phoned Big W online and they said they are not sure what the “error” status is, and to keep an eye. On the order over the coming days / they will email me if any problems.

    EVERYBODY SIT TIGHT! BIGW PS5 LOTTORY IS ON.

    called bigw and was told no PS5 in stock at the moment in BIGW warehouse and for those order placed just now. you have 50% chance to be fulfilled which means 50% chance to be cancelled obviously.
    I did mention someone's morning order has been dispatched and The staff said today's all ps5 order will go into the draw. @JezzaC96 please give some update when you received the item

      wtf? I did not pay $759 to enter a draw. why can't they just process it first in first serve and cancel subsequent orders they cannot fulfil (or even better, hold them until next batch)? surely they didn't get hundreds of orders it that 2 minute window

        I was told there is no second wave PS5 stock for bigw at all. Today is a glitch. but I don't believe her. She even asked me if I would like to cancel the order or just leave it. I said if leave it would I get priority when you have more stock? the answer is don't know…

    My email with subject line "Order Acknowledgement: Thank you for your order" says "We're excited to confirm your purchase." Here's hoping I don't get a cancellation.

    EDIT: I used a credit card and it's showing pending through my bank already.

    What time did everyone put in their Big W orders? I got mine in at 04:40:18 PM.

    Mine showing error in the orders page, but if you enter the order number into the tracking it says payment processing. Payment is pending on my bank account.
