  • Opps !!!!

We have problem serving your request

    • +1

I got the same, I believe it's a problem with the PayPal express checkout. I tried the regular checkout and that worked for me.

    Thank OP! Got 1

  • Thanks, Bought one.

  • Thanks got 1!!!

  • Also bought one. Thanks OP.

  • Got one, thanks! (:

  • +1

I have one of these, theyre awesome

    • may i few user scenarios plz? price is tempting.

      • +1

I use it every morning to send a reminder to my phone to turn off the bathroom exhaust fan. I also ask it what the weather is going to be on the day. Occassionally i set an alarm and the radio comes on. It controls my google lights, just swipe and the light controls come up.

        • Thanks for the info

      • ask/read the time, ask the weather, ask your schedule, ask travel time to, anything you would normally ask siri/google on other devices, turn smart things on/off. I don't use the alarm and music player. otherwise it is just a nice compact clock with a light sensor to dim at night and has a with a low amp usb outlet which can be used to charge not much these days.

        • Thanks, looks like the only thing i will not able to do is to stream videos and make duo video calls

    • Can it tell you the room temperature? Want to put one in bub's room. Thanks,

      • +1

No, but it can tell you outside temp. It's basically a Google Home Mini with a screen, it doesn't play videos but does have pics on the screen. It's mean't to be a bedroom assistant and not replace your other google devices.

      • +3

If you have another peripheral in your house that has temperature data exposed to the Google API, then it can tell you data from that peripheral. The Lenovo Smart Clock itself lacks a temperature sensor.

        • Thanks, that answers my query :)

  • Cheers OP. Got one . ~$33.4 after Bonus CB.

  • Just got one. Thanks

  • Thank you.

  • Just bought 3. Been thinking of getting these for the kids for Christmas. I've got one now as well.

    • -5

Awesome, so the rest of us miss out because you need three!

      • +3

So? It's not brodening. Deal with it.

  • Apparently these things can be unlocked and run stock Android: https://forum.xda-developers.com/connected-home/google-home/…

    • +1

Why would you bother haha would be slow as buggery

  • +2

    Oos :( too slow

  • +1

I went to order and said out of stock

  • +2

    OOS :(

  • Is this the same as this?

$39 vs $49 doesnt seem that much of a deal, esp for a refurb.

    • +1

Nah, that one doesn't have the fancy touch screen display - that's the "essential" version, which is a euphemism for "basic bitch"

    • Nah different products. The refurb one has more features & has a colour screen for photos etc.

    • Officeworks, of course is $48

    • Seems like it was the same as this one

      Or maybe different again.

      • Yep that is the correct one. My fear is Google may stop supporting or providing more product updates and features at even $79 because it competes directly with the Google Nest Mini at $79

        • Thats part of the reason all the smart stuff like that I have in the house is google (Like 7 Chromecasts and 4 Nests) they do add up in price tho - but they are soo handy.

And the google ones you can turn off the mic

  • +1

    All gone :(

  • +1

    oos

  • I have the Lenovo Smart Display 10. A great easter egg is saying I'm feeling lucky to activate a quiz. Great to entertain the family and learn stuff too! I use mine for a smart photo album that goes through my Google Photos highlights.

One of my gripes was even on the Lenovo Smart Display 10 you can't watch Youtube Videos despite being Full HD and higher resolution than the Google Nest/Hub Max. Also, youtube watching and chromecast is not officially supported. Some dude did a dumb hack where you navigate through the weather page on the browser and click on their youtube channel to start watching. However, it stops every 2 mins if you don't touch the screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzhMb-j55AU.

As it is, its great for this price as a google assistant+clock with a few features. Make sure you do your research on what it can actually do, I'm convinced when Google Nest came out with competing products they pulled features from Lenovo products or didn't roll out new ones.

  • Bought one, but felt troubled by Grays requiring my DOB and wanting to save my credit card details … think i'll close and delete this account after the clock is delivered.

    • +1

They keep credit cards on hand, mostly because they are mostly an auction website and charge you when you win the auction. The age is because they also sell alcohol and 18+ products.

  • No.. Noo…. Nooo………Nooooooo……
    Sold Outtttttt……………………

    • +2

Black Friday soon, your day will come.

  • Damn, didn't need one and missed out!

    • username checks out

  • +2

These come on at this price every couple weeks. Just keep checking (or make a bid if you don't mind the crazy buyers premium & shipping).

I got one a few months back from Grays. Be warned, they don't really seem refurbished. My first one didn't work, second one works, but the box was in rough shape. Seems like they turn them on for a second, then post them onwards.

    • -2

I guess it sucks for cough cough anybody who bought them to give away as gifts 😂😂😂

    • +2

Yeah, Grays is hit and miss.

When it's interstate, I tend not to bother but these have a 12 month warranty so you're covered.
They could be really good and I hope they are for those who bough them, but they could be trash with known issues hidden away in fine print somewhere which is something Grays tend to do sometimes.

In my experience, Grays "refurbs" are often leftoever seconds which as the user above has already mention, they seemingly plug it/switch on, see a light or screen turn on then say "alright, it works" and then put away for sale. I've had to return enough to the point that I don't bother anymore unless they are local and I can inspect first.

  • +1

These are great. I bought one for $69 about six months ago. Works well with Google and the quality of the speaker (for the price) is good. Definitely worth having in your bedroom.

  • Received mine this morning. Product box has stickers all over it and beat up; the actual product itself looks brand new.

    • Update: After about a month, the device wouldn't show a display…

  • Yeah mine came, one came in in a box with some sticker residue, the other one just came in a non google brown cardboard box wrapped in plastic.

  • Mine came in. No audio…i think its broken. :(

    • +1

Send them an email to [email protected] with all your order info and faults.

My first one was broken and they just offered a refund. Didn't need to post it back. By the time the return postage is added, it would've lost them more money I bet.

Goes to show, these aren't refurbished - just plugged in to see if the screen turns on.

      • How long did ot take to process the refund.

I keep getting a reponse from Lean to be patient and its been 2 weeks now. They normally this slow?
