Just saw this in the "Challenges & Rewards" section of the Shopback app.

The ebay gift card is also now available through the gift card portal (3% cashback). TCN Online gift card appears to be sold out.

Spend $5 or more (excluding delivery/GST charged at checkout for international items). Multiple items may be purchased in a single transaction.

Purchases that do not count towards this challenge are those in which do not meet the store's respective terms and conditions (including but not limited to cancellations, returns, exchanges, using unapproved coupons, purchasing excluded products/categories).

    GC are 0% through eBay, so most likely not eligible.

    The 3% cashback is through ShopBacks own portal, not through eBay.

    @dealbot Maybe list that eBay GC deal separately.

          I think it should be fine because I can see a "Shop now" button as I had claimed it earlier in the day, but recently people report that they can't see it at all (after the 5000/5000 claimed).

      Same here and the terms do seem kinda iffy. I have however checked the status of the other available offers and noted that 'participants' appear to refer to people who have claimed the offer, vs 'winners' who are people who have completed the offer. Based on that I am giving this a shot anyway since I am already a participant by claiming it. The terms for the eBay challenge also state that it's "Limited to the first 5,000 customers to 'Start' this challenge". I am interpreting 'Start' as the initial redemption :) Just my personal opinion though!

    Got the challenge completed notification from the app, but the $5 is not being tracked yet. I did get the cashback tracking, but the amount is a bit wacky. I paid $5.51 including GST with free postage, so the price of the item is $5.0. The item is under the "computers and tablets" category, which is eligible for 1% cashback. This works out to $0.05 cashback, but it tracked as $0.03. I am not too fussed about the cashback as it's only a few cents, but if you've ordered a big amount, I'd double check that the correct cashback is calculated.

      That’s normal. The challenge will show as completed, and will be added to your account once the eBay cashback has been confirmed (not pending).

      If you meant purchasing through the ebay app, I don't think it would track and you will miss out on the cashback. In order for the cashback to track, you need to clickthrough from the shopback site or app, which will redirect you to the ebay website to make your purchase.
