It has to be the same model and colour (SKU: MYFW2X/A) for them to price beat it. I called them first to confirm they can beat the price.
They told me to go to the closest store to order it since no stores have stock at the moment in Victoria and they have to get it from the main warehouse (there were 8 left after I ordered mine).

I just googled the local store's number and called the first one. Couldn't get anyone to answer in the first two stores though, only got a hold of someone on my third try.
But it might be easier if you just go to the store instead, you can't put the order through over the phone, you have to go to the store either way.
Just go to your local store and ask them you want to buy the new iPad and mention about the pricebeat. They will check the price in their system and will offer you the 5% pricebeat guarantee discount. Pay for the iPad and get it delivered next day or collect from the same store.

Hey kids will Officeworks match/beat the price if the product is out of stock at another store? Mediaform seem to have all their iPads as "call for an eta". They are doing the 8th gen 128gb for $604 which is better than EDU pricing.
It has to be in stock at the other store unfortunately. Just message Mediaform on their live chat and see when they are expecting them.
