I would assume this is 110V not dual voltage?

    • -2

It is being sold on Amazon AU site, so I assume it would have to be compatible with AU voltage 240VAC, just like a lot of previous Amazon US Dysons being sold on the AU web site. I have not seen any consumer electrical products that work on only one voltage nowadays.

There are still a ton of things around that aren't dual voltage. Quite often appliances with a motor won't be. Generally anything that uses a battery charger such as the Dyson stick vac's will be dual voltage, the corded vac's however are not.

      • The Todays Deals has power plugs & adapters with UK/US sockets. I don't see any confirmation or reason to assume just because item is sold on Amazon AU that it has local plug.

But most electronics are dual voltage as well just to cut their costs so worth checking if will work with 240v

        • No, I am not assuming about the plug being local Aust (adapter is ~$2 which many people might have already). My comment was about AU voltage, which Amazon confirmed that they display only products compatible to Aust market.

      • Confirmed from Amazon: it does use Aust voltage as they display only those items which are compatible to be used in Australia.

        • I know i'm late to the party here but I bought something from Amazon US via AU and it definitely was NOT dual voltage.. fortunately Amazon has decent returns/customer service so they refunded me but it was a big hassle..

  • Also maybe Choice given good reviews on this but ProductReview pretty low. Having a steam mop the compaints of having to lift the whole thing just to fill tank and tank used up too quickly are definitely bad points against it.

  • $53.73 + $31.63 Delivery now, might as well go Kogan

    • $26.15 to WA.

  • How do these go on timber laminate floors? Safe?

      • Thanks - we've been looking at the Bissell Crosswave but it's $$$ - putting up with a standard spot clean every now and then but it's a pain in the rear.

        • +1

Save up for the Crosswave. It's amazing on multiple surfaces. The amount of gunk it pulls up that you don't see is insane (YMMV). Microfibre and steam mops just spread dirt - though obviously easier than old fashioned mops.
