  • I have one of these, its pretty good and the metal feels nice and sturdy

    • Me too. Got one earlier in the year. Super solid, light, and folds away so nicely. Love it.

Keep showing it off to everyone I meet. I've grown considerably less interesting post-covid.

  • I am trying to add the correct link

  • I have both this model and the Tendak.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/576330

The Tendak one quality is much much better.

    • Seeing as you have both, does this have shorter arms (where the laptop base rests) than the Tendak?
I have the Tendak but am using it with an Asus G14 which lifts when you open the lid. The Tendak is just too long, by like 2-3cm so part of the screen rests on the rails.
If this has shorter arms I'll definately look at getting it.

      • No, I dont think the arms any shorter. However this one the arm is part of the base and probably a bit sturdier.

On the Tendak the arms are folding. But overall I think Tendak is better finished

        • Ragnarok1983 and AmperSand at Ozbargain.

          Tendak, his arms wide.

        • Ok thankyou. Might just skip it then as the Tendak still does a pretty good job, I just don't like the way it rests with my particular laptop, but it seems this would be the same.

  • Any comparisons between something like this vs $10 kmart one?

    • which kmart one?

    • I've been looking for the kmart ones for a few months now but no stock.

    • I have the kmart one, bought it in store, plenty on shelf. It's actually really good! I have been doing data extraction on my laptop at home at the table and was getting really uncomfortable. This lifts the laptop screen up and I can still type on the keys (will probably end up lifting it all the way and adding a keyboard with numpad but it works well for now and so much more comfortable). Kmart one is plastic vs this one which is aluminium. It's sturdy. Base is like a plate I guess compared to the two prongs on this. I like it but haven't seen this one so can't compare.

  • this one 270gm vs 370gm Tendak

i would choose the lighter one, for travel purposes.

    "travel"… /sigh/

  • it seems this design will have problem if I need regular access to the touch pad, as the right leg will hinder with the palm?

  • Out of stock. Just got kicked out mid order

    •

Hi, you can choose the another two color. the black for $23.99 with code and silver for $20.5 without any code.
The silver one please choose the one sell and ship by "Ninetek-AU", ships from AU directly.

  • I'm still using a shoebox as my laptop stand. It's universal, but not adjustable and no cooling.

  • The silver one now has a 3-4 week shipping time. Went for the black version and still got the $6 discount with delivery within 2 days. Thanks Op

  • Using "DT3IRACU" the black one I get the error "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase", and is listed @ $29.97…

Also - I can't seem to find a way of switching colours to silver to try on that one, is that a separate link?

    •

Hi, Really sorry, the black and grey one sell by "Ninetek-AU" was sold out, the code is not available with other sellers. You can buy the silver one instead choose the one ships and sell from "Ninetek-AU",https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07PNWZJRR

      • No thanks, can get this from another seller for $22 tomorrow, not wating until 4-7 Jan… Just mark this deal as sold out, it's clearly sold out, just post another deal when you're back in stock….

  • There is a very similar stand through banggood's Australian warehouse with free shipping too.
To me the banggood one looks a little nicer, has a bit of centre support and is wider when unfolded. Might be an alternative for those unable to get this?

  • Is there a risk of metal scratching with the laptop? It looks like it uses rubber/ silicone contact points but the aluminium construction doesn't offer peace of mind here considering how many times my laptops been scratched without me knowing how. Do you have a non-metal version?

  • ordered the black & it was just delivered!
Decent quality and nicely folds away. potentially a little small for my larger laptop - i didn't really look at the size but quite happy with it seems sturdy
just need a MX keys keyboard now (hopeful for black friday sales)

  • Got mine today, very happy with it.

The carry pouch would have been better in black rather than a tan colour.
