GENARAY AK-230 OVERVIEW
For a bright daylight-balance light that emits a powerful enough beam for video, yet with ultraquiet cooling fans, the Genaray Radiance is the solution to noisy fan-cooled LEDs.

The Genaray 230-watt Radiance monolight features an advanced Chip-On-Board (COB) array that outputs a substantial 23,000 lux for a powerful, flicker-free 5600 K light source. Extremely quiet operation makes the Radiance a great a choice for film, broadcast, and video projects, as well as photo sessions. The Radiance runs on AC power or two V-mount batteries that will provide enough power for lengthy location shoots.

The fixture’s natural-looking light is dimmable from 100% to 0%, and it boasts a CRI and TLCI of over 95 for exceptionally accurate color rendering. A dedicated remote is included for wireless operation of one or more Radiance fixtures.

Features
Extremely Quiet
The Radiance’s fans are exceptionally quiet. In fact, your concerns about microphones picking up fan noise will melt away once you hear how quiet they are. With its cool operation, you can run your Radiance lights for extended periods without concerns about overheating.

Bright Daylight-Balance Light
This LED light provides a natural-looking daylight-balance beam, and it packs a punch of up to 23,000 lux at 3 feet. That’s bright enough to move your light further back to illuminate a large area or to light a group with a single fixture.

COB Array
Chip-on-board (COB) technology has pro photographers and directors excited because it emits bright, single-shadow light. COB LED technology takes up less space than a traditional LED array, so your light more closely resembles a conventional tungsten light fixture than an array with multiple lights. Due to this lighting breakthrough, COBs eliminate the multiple shadows that are often associated with LEDs.

Battery or AC Power
The Radiance runs on batteries or AC power. It’s a multivoltage fixture capable of running on 100 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz, so with the proper plug adapter, you can use this LED fixture at home or abroad. For cable-free portability, you can also power the unit using two V-mount batteries (not included).

DMX-512
This light supports DMX-512 technology for using your Radiance at live events like theater, concerts, or fashion shows. This allows you to control the light’s settings remotely from a DMX console, which is a great feature whether you’re preprogramming chases or running your lights on the fly.

Flicker-Free
The Radiance emits a constant, flicker-free beam that’s perfect for shooting video at a high frame rate or in slow motion. It eliminates the strobing effect commonly seen in videos that are shot with non-flicker-free lights.

Color Accuracy
You won’t need to spend your time at the computer, color correcting your shots. With a CRI and TLCI of over 95, the Radiance’s color output is extremely accurate.

Secure Mounting
The yoke is compatible with light stands that have a 5/8-inch baby-pin. The 5/8-inch receiver features a locking button to assure you of a secure connection on your light stand.

Wireless Remote
The Radiance includes a dedicated wireless transmitter that gives you control over your brightness from up to 160 feet away. With 999 channels to choose from, you can remotely control your Radiance in crowded locations, without interference from other photographers working in the area.

Cool LED Performance
The COB LED array generates minimal heat, which allows you to move your light close to your subjects without worrying about discomfort or overheating. You’ll also save time because you don’t need to wait for your light to cool off before you move it.

But I can't find any information about GENARAY AK-230. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        • Godox is very reputed brand in lighting. This light is very heavily discounted, I would not buy GENARAY AK-230 for US$1099 at its retail price. I think you should look for other lights as well and see what suits you best.

  • Not sure if you want to buy this expensive light from US….Wouldn't it be different plug? Warranty might be difficult.

    • Majority would be IEC cables for power so easy to swap to an AU cable
