Why are BF deals starting so early?

    • +3

      And it's only a 1 day sale apparently 🤷

We made a mistake and thought tomorrow is Black Friday, that's why we released the deals…….

        Lmao

Props for the honesty. And that's kinda funny :)

  • ive checked this and seems cheapest so far

  • so many good SSD deals, and I already have a 512gb and 1tb A2000 in the second slot.. do I want to upgrade from 1.5tb to 2tb..

This is usually how it goes,

      1. See irresistible SSD deal on OzBargain and buy it
      2. Receive item in the mail and be disappointed with yourself, did I really need that?
      3. Stash it in a drawer
      4. Find it a few months later
      5. Profit??

And thus RAID arrays were born

I am actually past this phase! haha

I went through SSD fever in 2015 I think, and the last impulse bought SSD drive was 2018 perhaps when prices dropped ridiculously

right now I still look positively at well priced NVMe TLC's with DRAM but jeez I got no NVMe slot around the house that hasn't been occupied with something 512gb and up, so it stops me from buying more

my deterrent is that "I don't need it right now, sure it will be cheaper when I do"

      • 5 Sell it on Gumtree hopefully break-even or at a small loss.

  • Worth the extra $30 for the 970 Evo?

    • jump straight to 970 Evo Plus

      • what's the benefit though?

        • +1

970 Evo to Evo Plus is a significant price jump last time I checked too. Would love to know why this guy thinks it's worth it

          everything you can imagine

        • It makes your world and life better. Also makes you go faster if that's your thing

  • Can't believe Tech Jesus did a 30 minute video on that case.

    • +6

Cant remember the last time his videos didn't hit 30mins ish regardless of topic or equipment up for review lolll

    • +1

I sometimes watch his videos to go to sleep. Or pbs space time

  • Daayum, I maxed out my M.2 with these A2000 I need a Sata SSD like the MX500 1tb / 2 TB for games :L No sales though.

    • +1

      Pcie expansion card

  • does it get cheaper than this for 1tb nvme?
    I need one before cyberpunk!

    • +3

In 2030 when Cyberpunk is released they'll probably be a bit cheaper

      • +1

Pretty sure it's clearly advertised as a 2077 release

  • I regret buying yesterday for $145 :(

  • I have a 512gb m.2 (Intel 660) and a 256gb Sata (SanDisk) something. don't really need more storage than this. still worth the replacement so I can just run the one m.2?

    • no, unless you need extra storage you are fine. I have 2tb+512gb m.2's and 1tb+256gb sata ssd's though.

      • nice. thanks. wasn't sure if running both m.2 and Sata would impact performance somehow.

        • won't impact performance at all.

  • Damn, just bought the same thing from them at $148 last week, still haven’t received yet (slow auspost)

    • Same here :(

  • Why do they use Australia Post but don't ship to a PO Box?

    • Because fraud. Ship it to the post office instead, they should accept that.

  • Thanks OP. Been waiting for a sale price on that case.

  • thanks - bought one to beat Black Friday rush

  • a question maybe someone here can help…
i only have 1 m2 slot n it's using optane… if i get the A2k, anyone has any recommendation on how i can mirror my windows across?

  • The Cooler Master TD500 Mesh is now down to $119 Delivered!

    • do you think we'll get anything better on black friday?

      • Not sure this is my first year in a long time caring about PC component prices. So can't compare to previous Black Fridays for reference.

For this case specifically $119 is a) already a Black Friday only price and b) the best I've seen.
