    Can someone please help me find how is it different to chormecast? Can this be used on a normal non-smart tv just as chromecast?

      Yes you can use it on a normal non-smart tv. This has Android TV integrated into the dongle so in addition to casting content from your phone/tablet, you can also use the remote to navigate menus on the device to watch shows (or probably play games etc). It's more like an NVIDIA Shield TV than the old Chromecast.

      Think Android TV box but called a Chromecast….

      So you get a menu, remote, and the ability to drive the unit without a phone.

      Normal Chromecast features still work.

      Easier for Grandma to put kids shows on without teaching them to cast

    Had mine a few days and ready to throw it at the wall. It's Youtube Music integration is terrible.
    Trying to play music via voice commands to my Google Hub and it routinely gives me Youtube search results of what I've said to the Hub despite saying "Play.."

      Wouldn't that be the Google assistant problem not a hub or Google TV? I know I cam have some issues with my hue lights with certain words and have found saying it a different way will work sometimes
