Another early Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal from TechFast.

This is also the first PC with the new Lance-V case.

Enjoy :)

  • Day 13 (business day) for me, hope tomorrow I will get a tracking code.

    • I got tracking on the 16th day, it should be around 15 or 16

  • Got my tracking on the 16th day from original order, but 13 once I confirmed some changes. But, since it was received by Auspost last Friday there has been no movement at all according to their app. Sigh, was hoping this week but looking increasingly unlikely.

    • Mine is pretty much the same. Expected delivery was between Monday and today. Still nothing.

      • Not 5 minutes after putting up my post I received an update from Auspost. Now anytime between tomorrow and Monday for delivery. So from your experience I take it Monday will be a stretch. Guess not Techfast's fault, but still frustrating.

        • Is this express shipping for Auspost?

  • +1

Still nothing for mine was told it would be shipped this week.
Hope it get shipped today or might make for a disappointed Christmas

    • Mine was shipped 8 days ago and still nothing

      • Where are you located?

  • +4

come on man U are techFAST not techSLOW. lol

  • I have cancelled my order. I spoke to TechFast and there is no guarantee that it will arrive before Christmas and I needed it by then as a present. It has been more than 14 business days for me.

Techfast was really helpful with the cancellation.

  • It’s been almost three weeks and it still hasn’t been shipped, absolutely unforgivable. Why would you sell something you don’t get ur hands on? I was hoping it could be delivered before my birthday which was early December, now I’m not sure if I can get it before 2021! Definitely will not recommend this to anyone.

    • Have you tried contacting them? I agreed with what you said, I think they prioritised people who bought rtx 3070 instead of rx 5700 xt.

      • Yea but they were like ohh it’s 14 business days blah blah. Btw I’ve never seen ANY store that needs 14 business days to ship something, and even that clearly isn’t enough

      • Yesterday when I spoke to them, there were waiting for more 5700xt to arrive, so which means our system are basically not built yet. That's why I decided to cancel as it won't make it before Christmas even though I ordered more than 3 weeks ago.

        • Oh ffs they got no GPU??? I’ve never seen ppl paid at kfc counter, waited in the like for 20 minutes and then were told “sorry we ran out of chicken, new batch coming in 3 hours”. I don’t know what sort of wonky supplies they have but this is actually frustrating ngl, rly poor buying experience overall

  • This would have to be the worst case ever. I'm trying to add an extra HDD and I'm pretty sure I basically need to pull the whole PC apart in order to get it in (PSU, front fans, front of case).

    Horrible design.

    • Lucky I asked for unassemble. Mind if I ask how long was the delivery with Auspost? Mine still received and ready for processing since last tuesday.

  • Hi Guys,

Put my order 30th Nov. After checking with Tech"fast" for the 3rd time. I was advised they don't have 5700xt. They offer me the RTX 2060 super with no additional cost, although that cannot be guaranteed for delivery before Christmas.

I wonder if anyone can tell me that is the same deal?

    Thanks all.

    • https://www.techspot.com/review/1931-radeon-5700-xt-vs-gefor… and other benchmarks: "As you just saw the 5700 XT offers at least 10% more bang for your buck when compared to the RTX 2060 Super."

The 5700XT is closer to 2070 Super in terms of performance, but 2060S is better at streaming so depends on your needs, for gaming 5700xt wins out.

I got the same deal but decided to cancel my order instead.

      • Thanks, I mainly play on my console, except for FPS I really need the mouse. Also intend to edit video clip.

In that case 2060S is not equivalent?

    • +1

I’m in the same situation, ordered one on 30 Nov, and was told they didn’t have 5700xt atm. What a shame for something that got “fast” in their name. I probably won’t accept the 2060s deal if I were you, unless they offer $100 or $150 refund on top of that. I have advised them if they can refund the gpu cost, ship everything else ASAP and I’ll purchase gpu myself, seems to be a better idea now that there are more 3060 in stock elsewhere.

  • But this is quite disappointing consider that you placed your order on 30th Nov, so that's more than 20 days for them to get the stock in.

For those who got questions, this is the email I got from them earlier today.

“ Thanks for your enquiry. I can confirm we are now awaiting the remaining RX 5700 XT we ordered in advance of posting this deal. We know they are allocated to us and inbound, but can't at this stage provide an accurate ETA for system completion because of how congested the Australian freight network is due to record freight levels, and the continued workplace restrictions due to COVID.

As per the previous email detailing that your order was on track for our approximate 14 business days, this was in accordance with the information provided to us by our suppliers for incoming stock, but unfortunately this recent update means that our approximation for your order dispatch will not be met.
Please bear in mind that both our website and order confirmation email state that the 14 business day period is an estimate, and shipping times may extend beyond this in peak periods or due to the impacts of COVID.

Our best advice is to hang in there - this system was offered at an incredible price well below retail value and we are working throughout this period to ensure dispatch as fast as possible for everyone who ordered over a busy Black Friday/Cyber Monday period. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.”

So basically, they don’t have it, you’ll have to wait, nothing we can do.

  • For those who got questions, this is the email I got from them earlier today.

I can confirm that we have received all the components for your build and we're hoping to dispatch your system this week if all goes well. I can't guarantee that it will arrive before Christmas as right now it's too close to the date to promise anything.

You may cancel your order however unfortunately the refund amount may not be back in your account by Christmas due to the processing time of the refund taking a couple of business days and may even take slightly longer than that because of our extremely busy situation at the moment. We apologise if this causes you any inconvenience.

so seems like they've got new stocks in!

Yea they did, a few 5700xt yesterday, but for some reason none of those was mine. What a rotten bit of luck! I feel like zen8 is gonna come out when mine is shipped

  • The 20th business day! still has not been shipped!

    • In the same boat :(

      • have you contacted them ?

        • Not gonna be much use, they’ll be like either “too many orders and I don’t know” or blame it on Auspost. I ordered on 30/11 and they still haven’t got any 5700xt reserved for me yet! Though they agreed to switch it to 3060ti (me paying the gap of course) after I refuse the “free of charge” 2060 super substitution, which to me is more like a downgrade. Nice move of them offering 3060ti, I was so close losing my shit and wrote a negative review. Though I don’t expect pc to arrive before 2021 at this point, consider it’s public holiday tmr and 1/1.

          • @moe086: Oh I see, May I ask that how much you've paid for switching to 3060ti?

            • @Robincy: $300 for MSI Gaming X Trio 3060Ti. They said there will be 3060Ti deal later, with also $300 gap between that and 5700xt, but it’ll be another model (Ventus 2X). Anyways I paid for the upgrade and they said it should be built next week and shipped a few days afterwards so fingers crossed

              • @moe086: Just got shipping infor a few minutes ago, and it expected to be delivered before 5th Jan

                • @Robincy: That’s nice! Not bad for the first gift in 2021!

  • Hey Luke do you still have this deal available at all

  • Been a whole month now, still haven’t even been BUILT at all :( Sadge

    • same :( very slow

      • Just received shipping confirmation earlier today, ABOUT TIME
