Sorry I bought the first one :p

      • I must have been the second one too. Got it! And it looks like it will be delivered this week too. So glad I didn't jump on the last deal.

      • Please update if they actually ship it out, as I bought a camera from them last sales as soon as the sales started and the next day they replied me it was oos at the time I placed the order already and refund me eventually.

        • +1

          Mine has been shipped.

PSA for anyone who missed this EBay Plus Black Friday is doing a deal for $449 this Sunday and limited to 1000 units.

  • Are these Australian stock ?

    • +3

Digidirect is a local store and they mentioned they don't see grey imports on the listing.

  • Damn… I don't have ebay plus.. someone want to buy it for me? ;)

    • +1

      Ebay Plus Trial?

      • +3

Well that was quick… sold out before I finished getting the ebay plus trial… :'(

        • +1

@Fury96: Thanks bud, I'm signed up now, so will be ready to push the button when the time comes :)

            • @BlackVY: No worries, best of luck in getting one :)

            • @BlackVY: black friday will be $440

              • @9hundred: Do you need Ebay Plus on Black friday to get one for 440?

              • @9hundred: Thanks guys, here's hoping. Nothing wrong with my Samsung 27inch 1440p 144Hz gaming monitor… but… Yeah… Ozbargainer :)

              • @9hundred: Where do you see that?

              • +1

@9hundred: i have a feeling bf 440$ ish ones will be grey imports.

I much rather pay the extra 30$ for local warranty, especially digidirect where there are a few shops in my city

                • +1

@MaxHashrate: Even if it’s 440 but delivery may take longer due to large order on Black Friday, this one you can get it within this week.

  • Thanks, got one. Missed out last week one from Gearbite.

  • Got one. Got ebay plus so will return if i find a cheaper one on BF.

Digidirect selling it so im assuming this is australian stock.

    • Yes, it should be. They mentioned it on the listing too.

    • Yes CCP and CIA are spying on us

gee $500 and sold out like $5 peanut….. and i thought we are in deep recession due to covid… or not ???

    • +2

Consumer confidence is at a 7 year high

    • +1

read an article they predicting massive Xmas spend ..I mean you save all the money from not travelling right

    • Been told thats how economic runs

    • -7

we are in a recession, buying Chinese products to boost THEIR economy!

      • -4

downvoters refusing to accept the truth

        • Maybe so, but the products are already brought by aussie companies to sell to us, you not buying from them just makes them sit in stoarge.

      • That is correct my friend

Chinese economy recovering thanks to billions in Australian stimulus packages

        https://www.news.com.au/finance/economy/world-economy/chines…

        • at least someone has a brain

      • Most profits end up in rich 'American' elites' pockets anyway. Trump is probably one of the wealthy elites.

    • It's one peanut Michael, how much could it cost? $5?

  • +5

Does everyone in Australia have one of these by now?

    • +1

      I don't yet.. but soon, hopefully :)

    • +2

half of them have s2721dgf and half xiaomi

    • I have two Dell monitor right now.

    • all the ozbargain people have one supporting the struggling Chinese economy.

      • Right beside their edifier speakers.

  • Does Freesync work exactly the same as Gsync with all compatible Nvidia cards?

    • Yeah it will work. Theres a few tutorials on youtube that goes over a few simple steps to get working.

  • +6

    Damn, missed the bus again….
I was too busy to read that china bashing post……..

    • +2

China bashing posts are cancer. I've been trying to stop wasting my time reading bandwagon troll/racist comments. We all know the CCP and CIA are spying on us anyway.

      • +1

Miss a bargain is the wrost thing we should do in this bargain site……………

  • I'm keen to buy one, but I think early next year the standard price will be for $450 to $500.. in the space of a year it's dropped from $650 to $470

    • I think by next year, we will have the next gen 'value VA'. Samsung just released Odyssey G5 for RRP $599 (32" VA 1440p 144Hz). AU Optronics released their version of the nano IPS but without the downside of low contrast ratio.

  • when will we see a 4k option?

  • I am still thinking to pay more for another brand like Samsung due to warranty & product quality?

    • +1

I know its not a 144Hz curved screen, but this seems decent though 75Hz, and $499 for a Samsung with free shipping

      https://www.centrecom.com.au/samsung-34-ultra-wqhd-219-wide-…

      Thoughts?

      • Depends on your use case - I think the 32dgf ($599) from dell is better because it is slightly taller, has a higher refresh rate and a USB hub for SFF builds.

Otherwise, wait for the Xiaomi to go on sale again (e.g. this Friday) to enjoy the ultra-wide panel

    • I think there is a gigabyte 34" 144hz monitor that uses the same panel for around $750.

  • Damn, I've already used my Plus free trial. Any tips and tricks here? I'd imagine I can't just simply create a new eBay account and link my existing PayPal to it. Adding $49 to the price kills this for me :(

    • You can apply through the below link for $49 annual membership then receive a $50 eBay voucher, so it’s not too bad. If you don’t know what to buy then shop at eBay Coles.. that’s what I did… not sure if it’s still active but it works for me, you must apply through the below link

      https://tc.ebay.com.au/ebayplus-50coupon-stp

      • Were you a new member when you signed up for that? I've used my 30 day plus trial already, don't know if this only works for new customers.

        • I have used my 30 day trial and it expires. Then I signed up using this link and got the 50 voucher immediately after sign up

          • @ozvictor: Awesome. Now just have to make sure I can pick up a unit before it goes OOS.

  • +1

For those that already have one, does the monitor come with any video cables?

    • +1

Yes, I think a dp cable

      • +1

correct, be mindful it's like 1m. so if your box is on the other side of your desk and your monitor isn't, it won't reach.

But you will defs want to use DP either way, I think the HDMI on the unit only supports up to 100hz as its an older port.
(The DP supports 1440p 165hz, so DP for using the monitor at the full potential)

  • Cheers for that!

  • Not as easy as this but for those eligible
$473 from Kogan (Grey Import) with Plusrewards and Commbank cashback + delivery (Free with Kogan first)

  • Does anyone know when (i.e what time) the offer will be available again on Black Friday?

    • +1

I read the Limaaa may be releasing some BF deals any time this week. I read that he said something of a Dell Ultrawide option. Might be worth waiting a bit. Otherwise the widely recommended S2721DGF is also good.

  • Would a monitor like this be as good at watching streamed video and TV as a would dedicated UHD TV?

    • You'll have to live with giant black bars on left and right sides.

  • 10% cash back. Pity not in stock.

    • Where?
