    No local dimming.
    No HDMI 2.1

  • OMG! so many TV deals around and m.confused which one to buy?

Samsung one is up for sale at JB tomorrow so does others. Which brand what type not sure.

Only know i need 75 inch TV. Anyone suggest anything good? I am in headeche.

    • Samsung and Sony are by far the most realiable and best tech.. really depends on what you need. Go Samsung Q60 if you need a TV for Movies, shows, sports, etc.; Q80 if you need gaming as well.. Some people choose Sony over Samsung for more natural colours but the prices you can get for Samsung in this sale are just amazing.

  • OLED tv tends to stutter when all motion is turned off, this has higher response time so should be less?

    • Isn't this a QLED TV

    • TV Technology: QLED

      • I know this is a QLED lol, was just asking if this tv which is a QLED has less stuttering.

During panning shots my OLED tv is horrible for low frame rate content like watching animation as it has a 0.1ms response time

        • Why is it horrible again? Because of some motion-enhancing gimmicks? Can you switch it off and enjoy the 0.1ms response (which sounds terrific btw)?

    • I have 2 oleds.. I have no idea what you're referring to

      • It depends on the content you're viewing, 'normal people' content its fine but I watch animation content which doesnt seem to play nicely with OLED unfortunately

Would not have purchased had I known beforehand, also I turn off all the motion stuff as I hate the soap opera effect which is on by default

which one is better buy: 75" Q60 or 75" hisense S8 (about $300 cheaper from JB) ?
will pair the tv with chromecast tv or nvidia shield pro

    • From what I've heard, the S8 is more like the R6/7 from the previous year. Hisense changed their model numbering this year, which definitely confused me; you'd expect the S8 to be a replacement for the R8 but it's not. The Q8 is a closer replacement.

      • Yes. I think they following Samsung with this. I read this year q60t is worst then last year q60r

Can't justify the price of q80 nor q8.

Still debating between 75" Q60 or 75" hisense S8. Which one is better?

        • My money would be on the Samsung.

Any good deal on 80" + TV?

Hows this compare to the TCL C815? I've seen the c815 marked down to ~1900. The C815 looks better on paper (feature and spec wise), but I'm not an expert on tvs and looking for a second opinion….. cheers

Now down to $1793.60.. woah that is an amazing price for such a good TV. I have the last years 75" Q60 and absolutely love it. We now need a second TV but not until Feb/Mar. Wondering if TGG will do a layby if bought from ebay?

The second option is, I buy the TV direct from TGG and add the HW-Q60T soundbar for $350 but the soundbar is porbably not suitable for us as needing one for a 60 Sqm open area so perhaps Q900t a better option?

The Q60R is a step up from this year's Q60T. Samsung stepped down their 2020 TVs, so this year's equivalent of the Q60R is the Q70T.

  • This deal has ended??
