        Yeah I needed some biggish 1080p monitors for digital signage. I know I should get commercial grade ones but just need something cheap for now.

      Yeah but the S2721D is QHD, so much nicer than FHD - especially on a 27" screen. Very much worth the extra price in my opinion.

    Hey guys, I’m looking for 2 monitors for work use only. They’ll be plugged into a surface dock 2, which I hear can have issues with higher res monitors? Are these the go, or are the other Dell ones that are on sale worth the extra cash for likely longer lifespan, better resolution, etc.?

      Which Dell ones are you talking about? Presumably the S2721D which go on sale Fri? If so, these will be 1440 and well worth the extra 30-40 dollars - much better future proof.

      For work/professional use I would preference 1440 over refresh rates.
