      • Sorry I meant to ask if it'll come with the name of the person on the delivery details or billing details.

        • shipping will be used for both billing and shipping

        • It.should have those details. You could also message the seller to include the detail you need.

  • thank you got one :)

  • I've had this phone for 2 months. Spec wise this phone is top notch. No wireless charging but the Fast charging is mind blowing. ColorOS7 is not too bad but the new version is very promising ColorOS11.

    I highly recommend this phone.

    • Will it get a free upgrade to 11? So colour jumps from 7 straight to 11?,

Never used colour os. Is it just as compatible as using say a samsung flagship or is it a bit dicey as someone complained about above??

Also keen to hear hoe the camera quality etc rates to Whats out there with flagships currently??

      • Mine just received ColorOS 11 which is Android 11. I'm very happy with it no issues at all. The phone I had before was a Galaxy Note 8.

In terms of camera it's what you would expect from a flagship phone. So miles ahead from note 8. I'm happy with camera performance both front and back cameras. Yes upcoming new phones Samsung s21 etc may be better but it's marginal.

        • are you experiencing any issues with the battery life as some seem to bag it? others say batteries great (fast charging aside) in terms of life?

Camera wise did you compare /research into it vs the s20 line - s20+ or s20 ultra etc? Not sure if there is much of a difference but the price point is cheaper and with 512gb storage…. the only thing is i've never used the Color OS UI - not sure if it's ok, some seem to bag it, others say its' fine? I'm not too picky as long as you can still use all your normal android apps like you can on a samsung (have a s8+) and performance/lag is non existent. DOn't think it could vary that much from a samsung UI right?

Keen to hear your thoughts /experience.

          • @SaberX: I can only compare it to my Note 8 which I had for 3 years. Battery on the Oppo is adequate and better than what I expected - this is the one area I was really concerned about. I don't game on the phone and use the phone for personal and work only. All up it can last me all day with a bit more juice left late at night. Also my screen resolution is at 2K with 120hz refresh rate (which is battery drainer apparently)

Also, my charging habit has changed. I dont have to charge my phone over night and only charge it while I'm getting ready for work in the morning. It only takes 30mins to fully charge. In saying that I still occasionally use a standard battery charger cable.

In terms of camera performance - I did research and compared it to the phones you mentioned inc others. The quality to me is a huge jump from my note 8 and I'm very happy. Im sure others will say S20 cameras are better — but how much better? BTW i own a Sony A7RIII so i tend to use that camera more.

ColorOS 11 is super fine. Easy to use and no problems with other Android apps. No issues with compatibility. It is customisable (check out youtube reviews/tips)

            Hope that helps

            • @Koolio379: Appreciate the feedback. I'm not a huge gamer either. The ad hoc candy crusher for a couple of mins on a weekend when it calls, but certainly not one of those regular gamers. It'd be mainly apps (emails, browser, other utility apps) and camera etc. as per daily life demands.

The fast charge i heard is incredible. I presume it's far better to fast charge it in the day than usually overnight - currently i plug in my samsung s8+ overnight as they should trickle charge off at 100%, but i presume with this fast charge you want it off the charger asap as the fast charge wears out the battery right?

That said must you use the included charger + cable to get the fast charge? or will it work with your standard PD3.0 style blitzwolf chargers that are always selling. Or will fast chargers from the samsung line no longer offer the same fast power charge as your included oppo one? Only asking as outside of home if you can't access the 30 mins for full charge via your blitzwolf ad other 3rd party cables then it makes it alot harder to setup ad hoc charging stations at work and regular visited places. Not a dealbreaker but nice to know.

Feedback on ColorOS 11 is good to hear. I don't know how, and never have rooted - so it's good to hear that andorid apps have no issues with compatibility and usage. is the native/included bloatware or apps overbearing or as much as other phones i.e. samsung etc? And presumably can't be uninstalled?

If you don't mind me asking - where /how much did you get yours for? Just wondering if this price per this post is achievable and if i should hol dout for it coming up again e.g. with boxing day sales coming up. The rumoured x3 find pro is due…. which supposedly has wireless charging . but i guess you'll always be chasing the 'latest'.

            • @Koolio379: Do you find the lack of an aux port an issue? My car has an aux cable but no bluetooth (not that fancy) so I'm abit at a loss whether this is a 'necessity'. i do have bluetooth jabras for in ear, but at work it is quite simple and low power having a cabled earbuds, also warns people off as you're 'in the zone'. whereas i guess wireless looks abit more snobbish i'd imagine when people see you at your desk all closed off. Perhaps just a silly perception thing… but yeah my mrs has the iphones and can no longer now play her spotify in my car. Perhaps there is a 3rd party bluetooth device, similar to how you used to have cigarette lighter ports where you could transmit onto the radio bands your aux cable attached phone (albeit for receiving bluetooth and routing it through one's aux cable in car since the phones no longer have aux cables).

  • Wow never seen a oppo phone Over 1000

  • P30 Pro deal or this ???

    • p30 pro deal?

    • +1

absolute Find x2 Pro. It is far better than P30 PRO

      • P40 or this??

Ignoring the GMS issue, the pros the P40 has over Find X2 is it has a bigger camera sensor, better (too aggressive) battery management and wireless charging.
        anything else?

I want the best camera but mate40pro is too $$ and no chance to hack it to get GMS working..

        • +1

I had mate 30 PRO previously, its camera was great. However, when taking videos, the quality wasn't great as expected. Find x2 PRO's camera is worth to try.

        • +1

I would have gone to Mate 40 if GSM wasn't banned.

  • Thanks OP, JB just price matched :)

  • Hmmm….this, or the Xiaomi mi 10 pro?

  • Hi ,

I have bought this from Mobileciti eBay store last month when it was $1399.
The Delivery Docket comes with the delivery had recorded the serial number.

Wondering if there is any luck I can buy another one from allphones eBay for $1,068 and return this 2nd phone under the 1st transaction I bought that was more expensive!

It is an instant $300 saving.

    Just an idea.

    • +1

Mobileciti/allphones rep is a regular here in OzB… Goodluck.

    • Next time for such purchases, use a credit card with price protection.
Or perhaps don't do it when Black Friday is approaching.

  • ordered yesterday, arrived today! :D

    • What's the manufacture date? Had issues with older (6-12 months) phones (still brand new just in storage) losing up 15% of battery capacity.

  • Price has gone up.

  • Just curious but what does the OP mean by "I find this a better buy over the plagued S20 Lineup"

Was looking at a new phone and wondering what was the reasons to stay away from s20 lineup. Is the camera, specs and batrery quality etc of say the s20 ultra plagued with known issues??, anything to be aware of?

    • All Australian S20 with the exception of FE are using Exynos chip which is proven to have issues with overheating causing thermal throttling and battery life issues. (Snapdragon 40c/Exynos 60c)

From what I know the Ultra can't do close up shots on 100x lens due to its design. FE uses Snapdragon which is fine but it has ghost touch issues which from what I heard is to so with the hardware. A software fix was applied which mitigates this to some degree. Did a lot of research as I was in the market.

      • have heard about this (exynos). is it really that terrible compared to the SD865? Would waiting for the SD888 be a decent leap (as the find x3 is rumoured to come with this) - or is SD888 untested yet on the market for performance/battery?

I was reading the gsm arena review and the photos section seemed to have nicer photos on the s20 ultra than the x2 find pro, but might just be my visible eye trying to compare identical images with clicking rather than side by side.

Given you did a lot of research keen to hear your thoughts/experience on battery life vs camera performance on the x2 find pro vs other phones out on the market currently. I presume only the s20 range is comparable on the camera side (huawei mate 40 pro etc. i presume is out as the lack of google services kills it for me)?

    • If you prefer to buy the s20 ultra, you better buy the version with Snapdragon 865 from overseas.

      • no preference but I wa sjust looking for what the goto phones were for battery life/performance alongside a highly rated camera.

At the time my s8+ was well rated and it's held up great for what it was at the time. Looking for another phone that will at least take me through another 2-4 years before an eventual upgrade so figured I might as well get something with a decently rated camera now as well as battery/performnace wise.

I just figured the s20 line was the competing alternative as no other brands seemed to come close (iphone/apple is out, huawei out due to lack of google play, and google pixels i recall in earlier days were top notch photography but i don't hear anything about this in latest versions, some mention the one plus 8 pro but there always seems to be cons with the one plus?)

Keen to hear any recommendations however!
