I bought Gen 2, 3 and 4 before. Good quality mount.
This is the new Gen 5 with cable magnet clip. One of the better quality car mount in the market.

Gen 4 is still selling at $55. So definitely a good deal at $30.

This used only been released a few months ago in USA. Good to see the price dropped for black friday sale.

Features & details
WIDER COMPATIBILITY: New larger Easy One Touch button and cradle allows for wider device & case compatibility.
MAGNETIC CORD ORGANIZER: Keep charging cables neatly organized with the magnetic tab located on the bottom foot

  • I've got the v4 vent mount, best phone mount ever. Quality and functionality wise. v4 is still going for 45.95 but the v5 vent mount is also on special for 30.52: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B088G1ZLN4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_f…

  • Isn't it $49 spend for free delivery? Any ideas to make up the difference? Can I just buy two (can't decide between vent or dash) and return one for free?

go for dash. vent will drop as the vent maynot be able to handle the phone weight.

      • Then I have to pay shipping unless I can find something else to buy :(

      • Will the suction cup strong enough to stay on dashboard? Most dashboard phone holders cannot stay strong on dashboard. It all just drop after few days. Thanks

I've had my fair share of suction cap fails over the years so went with vent - didn't want to risk it. Downside is you losing a vent grate. It has a tightening grip on the vent fin which has held my heavy phone without issue.

I bought an iOttie one touch and used it for about 4 years straight. Suction never failed once. I think it was the gen4.

    Would definitely buy one again.

    • Do you use for dash? if you do, do you use the sticky pad underneath? Thanks

      • Yup, used the sticky pad on the dash and had the suction cup mounted onto the pad.

        • Thanks mate. I assume that the sticky pad can only be used once. If you need to move the sticky pad to a different location, you have to purchase a spare one. Is that correct?

  • Why is it saying can’t be shipped to my location in metro Sydney… any ideas / workarounds? Cheers!
