  • Do the rubber grips come off on these ones too? I had the series 1 and the glue holding the grips melted…

    • Same happened with mine. And the rubbers came off the sticks, and one of the sticks gets stuck occasionally. It's over 3 years old though, so I'm willing to pay again. Some people say it's more reliable, others say the opposite. No idea what the real answer is.

are these worth 2x the price of the regular controllers if not playing first-person shooters? thinking of treating my son's hands this xmas but i will disown him for playing FPS games using a controller.

        • My Elite 2 controller is excellent. I like the replaceable thumb sticks.

      • I don't even think the Elite 2 controller was out over 3 years ago. You must have the original Elite controller with different sticks. The Elite 2 controller is a slightly different design with better thumb sticks and stuff. You can actually remove and replace the thumb sticks on the Elite 2 controller.

        • ive had my elite 1 controller since they were released and its my goto. Only issue ive had is the thumb stick rattles a bit when its upside down.

        • if you read the thread we started with talking about the series 1. So obviously I was talking about the series 1 as well. Also I have my Elite 1 next to me - it also has replaceable thumbsticks. Honestly, it's actually slightly nicer not having the rubber on them. But my point was that it's deteriorated.

Honestly would rather pay the extra and just get a Scuf or Battle Beaver.

Nice price. Would personally use my left over Telstra points and pick this up from the Telstra rewards store if you have access

21k points plus 168 bucks delivered.

  • I had the bumper fail but was replaced in warranty, apart from that no issue. I'd say it comes down to play style

  • Does Microsoft replace controllers with the stick drift issue?

    • If its in warranty they do. I had that problem and had a new one sent out

Son has been wanting one for ages .. at least its not full price, SOLD!

  • Be aware this controller hasn’t got the lag reduction update (DLI) the new XSX controller has. I think it’s slated for later next year.

    • good to know.. i dont actually know how big of a difference it actually makes but i did read about it in a review when there was that false bargain bigW bargain for the ps5 controller. supposedly ps5 controller still faster that new Xbox series X controller.

  • $224.36 delivered here too with the coupon https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xbox-One-Elite-Wireless-Controll…
