Why do people post banana prices? I ask this out of genuine curiosity as I've left the country for 2 years so I'm not aware of the current situation. I remember last time prices were crazy cause of the Queensland storm. Are they still as crazy now?

Not sure about other states but Bananas here in the ACT are between 99c-$1.99 per kilo everywhere. Even a week ago. Fail.
