Additional discounts for students:

Delivery was $7.95 for me

If you can find stock of The Kids Card gift cards in Coles you can bring the total including delivery down by a further $22.50 (assuming you buy $150 worth).

Cashback: use Cashrewards bonus $10 offer if you haven't already and the 6% normal cashback of $8.53.

If my calcs are correct the astute OzBargainer could get this for $142.20 + $7.95 - $22.50 - $10.00 - $8.53 = $109.12 😊

  • To use the Kids gift card with Booktopia you would need to convert them to Booktopia vouchers here under How to Use, then add them to your Booktopia account, however according to the live chat person I'm speaking to at the moment, "maximum ideally is 1 to 2 vouchers" per transaction.

    • I used three $50 Booktopia vouchers on my order (swapped three $50 The Kids Card for three $50 Booktopia). Booktopia order went through no issues. I didn't add the three Booktopia vouchers to my account - I just put them straight into the checkout process

      • Yes, it sounded like the person I was speaking to didn't know what they were on about.

Worst case, if it doesn't work, I have to buy some books in a separate transaction.

The most important key feature is being able to borrow from your public library directly from the device.

The price is so tempting but I don't need a new ereader.

  • They're out of stock now but can be ordered on backorder, apparently not going to arrive before Christmas however.
