  How does this unit compare with the GW1002 also on Amazon? Also same query as Phreaker, as the GW1002 appears to measure both outdoor & indoor temp. Does this one also?

    From what I can tell this one has the ultrasonic wind meter (no moving parts) and the GW1002 has the traditional vane and anemometer - pros and cons to both from what I read.

    looks like the flash sale on the GW1002 is over anyway!

  I asked a question in the thread from the last deal and no response.
