Just saw this promotion in the Shazam app on iOS. You can currently get up to 5 months of Apple Music free by simply identifying a song with the Shazam app. Sounds like it is for new subscribers only though.
The description of the Shazam app reads:
"Holiday offer through 17/1/21! Download and Shazam a song to receive up to 5 months of free Apple Music. New Apple Music users is AU, US, GB and CA, Terms apply."
