Looks like another challenge has come up in the Shopback app. More free money to spend! Limited to 9000 participants.

  • Note: The '$ to go' amount that appears when you start the challenge is the pre GST amount.
  • This challenge entitles you to $5 bonus cashback when you spend $5 or more in a single transaction (inclusive of GST, exclusive of delivery & all other fees) at any store through ShopBack between 12.00pm and 11.59pm AEDT on 30th November 2020.
  • Purchases from ShopBack's Gift Card Store (ShopBack Voucher) are excluded from this challenge.
  • Only purchases made after you 'Start' this challenge will qualify for the bonus cashback.
  • Limited to one bonus per customer.
  • Available while redemptions last.
  • The $5 bonus cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you'll receive shopping at your desired store.
  • The $5 bonus will be added to your account once your regular cashback turns Confirmed.
  • Purchases that do not count towards this challenge are those in which do not meet the store's respective terms and conditions (including but not limited to cancellations, returns, exchanges, using unapproved coupons, purchasing excluded products/categories).
  • Cashback will be voided if any fraudulent activities are detected or if any terms and conditions are not met.

    Just checking.. made a $16 purchase. But $13 was gift cards and $3 outstanding. Will this trigger?

    Edit: The rewards section doesn't even show this offer anymore. It was there just before my purchase at 6000 of 9000 participants. Purchase took only 30 seconds so the bonus should have been available.

        I logged in again and it has re-appeared.
        7252/9000 participants.
        However it is still saying $4.54 spend to go.

        Lucky that you got your regular tracking email. I haven't got mine yet. It was an Amazon purchase.

        Edit: I purchased an item that is 0% cashback, so no bonus. OK, fair enough. Cancelled order and used cashrewards!

    Paid in USD, (with freight and import duties)with a combination of gift cards and PayPal.

    I can see this already being a cluster failures.

      I just received a notification that my $8 Amazon purchase was tracked with $0.55 cashback. I thought it's supposed to be $5 cashback?! How do I resolve this?

      edit: OK did some further investigation. In the app, it says that the $5 challenge is still being finalised. So I guess it's still pending. Also, it mentions that the $5 bonus cashback is "in addition to the regular cashback you'll receive shopping at your desired store".

    Amazon cash back tracked. for a category thats valid (book), but still shows the reward as requiring $4.54 to spend :/

    also tracked for the wrong amount like its only one part of the single order :/

      I'm interested to get a confirmation of this as well. It does say that is "limited to first 9000 users to Start/Opt-In to the challenge" so i assumed its based on when you started the challenge and not when you make the purchase

      The speed of a cash back being tracked isn't part of the eligibility

    Avoid ShopBack! Scam company I guess. I bought $3000 worth JBHIFI Gift cards, but could use only $2000 worth of them. Not able to open & see the other cards. App problem i guess, you can only view gift cards via their app. They dont respond to my emails and no person available in live chat. Waiting from yesterday, no luck.
