Good price but - Is this the new wifi 6 version ?

Click on the link and check it out. Hint: it’s in the Technical details section, under Wifi connectivity.

      • Hmmm helpful but don’t see that in Amazon app. Also even on webpage doesn’t state clearly if not wifi 6.

        • The speeds should tell you if its wifi 6 or not.

Edit: To the neg vote, Eero Wifi 6 is tri band with speeds of 900Mbps. Eero Wifi 5 is 350Mbps.

This isn't the new Wifi 6 version. Wifi 6 is 802.11 AX but tech specs supported are:
      IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac

Also not sure why the other guy was a dick about it… why be a smug ass when you know the answer and can help is beyond me…

Thanks DingoBilly much more helpful answer.

Really don’t need that guy’s sort of attitude bringing down OB.

“give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.

  • I brought the 3 pack last week and set it up. If you run a simple and basic network this is good for you. If your run a complex network, definitely stay away from this.

    • Same - I have only set up 2 of them so far though.
I still need to get ethernet installed in the walls of my house to get proper gigabit ethernet, but the wifi has been fine.

      • I only have 2 set up atm. I will probably set up the third if I introduce more devices. My ASUS struggled with so many devices that it would drop out often. Shame that Asus mesh wifi isn't cheaper

        • Just curious, how many devices do you have connected to your network?

          • @spikiii: Close to 20. What caused the most issue was my NVR for my cameras.

        • Decided to set up my third one - crashed the network. Seems having 3 in a 3bdr townhouse wasn't a good idea…

          • @theguyrules: Any reason why it crashed? I was gonna set up the third one as well. I have 2 sitting roughly 4m from each other. Was gonna add the third upstairs.

            • @Deuce: No idea - but it was repeatable. Really strange.
I had one upstairs, one downstairs. added the 3rd downstairs and it caused the upstairs one to crash.

              • @theguyrules: Ill give it ago some time this week to see if it occurs for me. The only issue I had with Eero was setting it up, it would take too long to get internet connection. Only until I did a hard reset it worked.

                • @Deuce: Lemme know how it goes!

                  • @theguyrules: I've setup the third one. Internet works but the app won't update, keeps saying connecting. Kinda odd.

I don't have to, my neighbour used my wi fi to do it for me

      • My neighbour also asked me to use his wifi and I am now looking at a powerful wifi extender in my house to pull signal strength from his modem/router. Anyone with ideas?? I don't know where to start. I get full reception from my fence and it drops out towards the other end of my house.

Only for U.S ATM, and it can be turned off. But I agree not a great idea from Amazon.
