Definitely not the lowest, but seems like a decent price for 32GB if you can pickup. I don't see anything wrong with it.

        dfg555 didn't clarify, but it might be for a Mini-ITX build which only has 2 DIMM slots. A 64GB kit that's on sale may also be cheaper than getting 2 x 32GB kits since their RRP is usually lower per dollar, no harm in asking.

          I would think the implication was that you dont need more than 16GB for gaming, not that is is "bad" for gaming.

          However, in the event he was implying they are "bad" for gaming… all this stuff about memory speed in latest Gen, if you watch benchmark videos (From memory Linus Tech Tips has a good one), it means almost nothing for performance benchmarks.

          This is… unless you are playing one of the "Great Equalizer" games like Civ 6 or Microsoft Flight Simulator. I believe CPU bound games might be similarly improved by memory, otherwise it wont move the needle much because the memory clock speed there was never a bottleneck to begin with.

          Overcapitalising, any further gain over 3200Mhz would be in the low single percentage gains in benchmarks and negligible in everyday use.

      3200 is a good frequency even for Ryzen (it is in fact the max supported official spec for Ryzen 3000). These particular sticks can be pushed to 3600 easily too, so I don't know where you're getting this from

    whats the difference between this and the 3600mhz version? Will it play a major role if i want to play a few AAA games but will mostly be a casual gamer with a few tabs open?

      Depends on the CPU you're running and whether you're being CPU bottle necked at all.

      Likely nothing. You can probably run the 3200 kit at 3600 just fine if it bothers you.
