    @wolfshooter - any particular brands/models you would recommend as value-for-money? I bought a standard octabox as my first large diffuser and instantly learnt this lesson - wasn't going to spend two hours setting up and packing up an octabox whilst shooting on-site. However, I haven't seen any Neewer or Godox (long) rectangular softboxes that are quick setup.

  Does anyone make a smaller one that would be suitable for behind a webcam? Moved recently and the lightning in my office is atrocious - would prefer one of these over a ring light to avoid looking like I'm from Children of the Corn but will go down that route if needed

    USB Ring light is the easiest solution. Place it a bit high and they won't even see the catch light

  Mine just arrived today from Amazon. Got it on Black Friday sales for about $17. Not that difficult to put up with the rods. For the price I can't complain. Material quality is pretty good too. The strip box 90x20cm was a lot harder to put up.
