Obligatory pricebeat at Office Works for additional discount.

    • Gotta get in before they update the pricing

      • How do you mean?

        • They typically always update their pricing by late morning to match competitors. So if you want to get price match get in early.

          • +5

            @hazzad: Not in my experience.
OW haven’t chosen to reduce their prices to match these deals in months.

            • @VerticallyIntegrated: But are they going to price beat?

              • +3

@xenoic: They will price beat and that’s what I’ve done from the last Coles, Woolies, BigW deals.

I think they’re happy to take the sale from the chains even if they have to price beat the price.

    • I did it this morning before 9am and got $250 of gift cards for $201.88

Thanks for the tip. Went in to OW South Yarra store just now and got $600 worth for $484.50. Close enough to 20% off. Bargain.

  • Have no need for this now but who knows. This is hoping everyone else goes mad hunting the other gc so I can get my hands on this one come Saturday…

  • +1

Will this offer still be going on Saturday? Effectively 23.5% off would be sweet, I'd buy a whole years worth of iTunes. Apple One Premier family alone is going to cost me $480 a year otherwise, plus all the other subs.

  • +2

phew - will make it easier for me to pay that damm ATO debt

  • Is 15% the normal discount off iTunes cards?

    • +1

Can very rarely get 20%. Not sure what % the Costco discount adds up to, but most of the time 15% is the best you’ll get.

    • +3

If you price beat at officeworks and use Zip the effective discount is 27.3%.

Have updated Zip deal with this info.

      • Let's hope ow won't update their price till after Saturday.

      • can you use ZIP PAY to buy itunes gift cards? coz i've tried using afterpay before and it doesn't allow it

        • +1

The Zip deal is for their Tap and Go card only (not using the Zip app to pay) which allows you to pay anywhere like a normal debit/credit card on your phone.

  • Can you use this for apple storage?

    • If you mean iCloud subscriptions, then yes.

Just set your account to use $ from the GC loaded account balance first.

  • +2

Also 10% off Nintendo eshop gift cards.

    Full catalogue.

Is this in time for the new ATO scams, I mean debts needing iTunes gift cards as payment?

  • Good for a Macbook Pro purchase?

    • +2

No, can only be used for digital purchases.

Can I use iTunes GC balance to pay for Kayo? What other subs can I pay for with iTunes GC?

    • Any subscription that is linked to your Apple account can be paid using iTunes gift card credit (Disney+, Spotify, 1Password, etc.). Check your Apple account for which subscriptions you currently have.

  • Just saved $100 from OW!! Thanks!

  • +2

Yep, just picked up 3 x $100 iTunes at Officeworks at 20% off with pricematch guarantee. Manager just had to find the offer themselves to verify.

    • Did you pay $80.75 or a flat $85

  • Has Big W removed this promotion? The link redirects you to the catalogue page and then I can't find the 15% off card promotion anywhere in their catalogues…

    • It’s on page 55 of the catalogue starting 10/12/20.

      • Perfect, thanks mate. I see the link above has been updated also. Called OW and they priced match over phone, purchased & click and collect his afternoon.
