These usually go for $25-$35. $19 delivered seems a decent price @ $6.33 a set. The three pack is slightly cheaper than the 10 pack. The 25 pack is $0.30 cheaper per set but I prefer my strings individually sealed.

  • 3 packs are US imports so deal unobtainable.

    • Just bought them mate. $19 delivered….

      • my bad, click on 3 pack and says US import

Delivery timeframe of 15-17 December seems way too fast for a US import…

      • They will probably ship out from US around 15 -17 th

  • Just bought too! Thank you. I'm due for a string change.

  • I would like a bulk pack of 0.09 + 0.11. I know ArtistGuitars used to sell them (I better check it out again).

  • Wonder if these are legit. Seller seems suspect.

The 25-set costs $148.51 through Amazon US. Roughly $5.8 per set. I burn through a lot of these, so usually buy in bulk.

    • Agree…See if the order gets cancelled…

    • Each individual pack has a unique code you can use to verify authenticity on https://www.daddario.com/play-real/

    • Why would you burn through strings?

Just use white mineral oil once a month on fretboard and strings, allow to dry and then lightly wipe with a clean cloth.

If sound is losing it's brightness, (which is only ever so slight over a long long period of time) turn up your treble a little.

  • Are these good strings? Might order a couple, ive changed my strings once in 3 years..

    • +1

Lol!! If you leave it too long the strings rust and act like sandpaper which will wear out your frets sooner. I’ve always used these or the 9’s and have been fairly happy. Not a big fan of Ernie Ball’s on my Strat but it’s really personal preference (I do use Ernie Balls on my Les Paul though).

  • Not sure how these compare to Strings and Beyond for bulk orders - They used to do free international shipping from time to time and good deals on elixir and d'addario - https://www.stringsandbeyond.com/dex10paelgus.html - $42US (57AUD) for 10 sets plus shipping…. Definitely the best deal before when I used to bulk order strings…

  • Any recommendations on acoustic strings?

    • -1

Put them on an acoustic guitar.

    • It depends on your guitar and songs you play. A lot of it is also personal preference. You really have to try them yourself. My favourite is Elixir strings and D'Addario EXP26 and EJ40

  • Noice - thanks OP. Got the 10 pack for $66.56 - cheaper per pack if you don't have Prime.

  • Nice one. Looks like they have similar deals in the bass sets. This is my go to set for my Lakland 5 string.

  • Says $21.05 or I am doing something wrong?

    • Nope, they just increased the prices. I checked it earlier and it was 19, up to 21 now.

    • The $19 was from an AU seller, now out of stock. The $21.05 is coming from Amazon US.

  • Anyone else enter their d’addario code and find out that it says that their code has already been used to check if the strings are legit?

    • Mine were fine. If you look them up more than once this will happen.

Worst case if you’re not happy raise it with Amazon and get a refund
