If anyone asks "does this fit my <insert car here>?", please tell us the year/make/model/variant and not just simply Camry as an example.

    • 2015 Isuzu MUX

      • standard will it fit questions + can I reuse the OEM reverse camera?

Yep, see here and here for parts listings. For the first link, punch in the Pioneer's part number to get an exact match for ISO connections.

Easiest way is with Aerpro harnesses
You'll likely need one for the power, Steering wheel controls and factory camera along with the fascia..then one from the HU is ISO and steering wheel control. I think you're best to get the complete install kit then the HU harnesses and camera one.

Edit - I think the post above answered it better!

        • Thanks both, much appreciated.

  • What the depth as the site does no have size of the unit

    • Taken from the manual….

      Dimensions (W × H × D):
      Chassis (D):
      178 mm × 100 mm × 164 mm
      Nose:
      171 mm × 97 mm × 3 mm

  • Does this fit 2015 Toyota Kluger GX? This car has built in reverse camera which I assumed it can be integrated with the unit?

    • Yes. See here and here for parts. You'll need fascia, ISOs, antenna/USB adapters, SWC interface and reverse camera retention kit.

  • This or the Sony that's down to 450 at Super Cheap?

I have a Suburu Liberty 2015 and I am finding I have to spend over 250 on harnesses for Steering Wheel Controls/Antenna/USB/etc, is that normal?

    • Yes quite normal. Only somebody who has something like an older Toyota with no SWCs will get away with fitting one of these for next to nothing.

      • Do you have preference on this or the Sony XAV-AX5000?

        • Years ago Pioneer were crap, plagued with operational and software issues. From what I hear they've improved, but I'd probably still go the Sony if I had the choice.

    • The sony xav-ax5000 has had alot of complaints from users saying that Android Auto disconnects randomly. I liked the Sony because it has physical buttons, but I didn't wanna have issues with Android Auto so I went with the Pioneer.

  • Repco states that the rcam2 supports AVH, AVHZ, AVIC, MVHAV & MVHZ AV units. Would it work with the dmh-z5350bt?

    • My understanding is that the RCAM2 has the lines built in, however this HU can also add them on so you can use the RCAMAVIC which doesn't have the lines…there was a deal posted for that cam for $59 not long ago

  • Toyota Yaris 2006 model compatibility?

    • See here

      Like most, you'll need
      Toyo to iso
      ISO to Pioneer
      Steering wheel control
      Double din fascia

      • Awesome thanks!

Can I still use the existing steering wheel controls?

        • +1

Yeah, with the right harness it will retain them
