    Just ported out from Red Energy after about 3 years with them. Had issues in regards to changing my plan when I had solar installed which was not done even after 2 billing cycles. When I inquired again they don't know why it wasn't done. Decided to change to another provider which was MUCH cheaper and they started calling me to price match. They were offering 21c (excluding GST) per KW compared and a lower daily service charge rate. They said this offer is not publicly advertised. Ask them about this if you want to try them. I still ported out though.

      Yeah that’s the thing with these promos you get the points sugar hit, but almost always the value of the points is more than recouped by the expensive plan your locked into.

    Has anybody signed up lately and received the QFF status credits? If so how long after signup were they credited?

      Hi, I applied about 1.5 weeks ago, and got the points yesterday.

      I think the delay was to do with meter read, once meter read is completed and power connected, the points and status credits took another 2-3 business days to arrive at my QFF

        meter read can take up to 3 months depending on where you are in the cycle (unless you have a smart meter)
