    I've been umming and aahing about these prebuilt computers for a while, but today I decided to build my own and managed to get comparable value to this prebuild. I got everything from centrecom near me:
    r5 3600 $320
    MSI mortar max $150
    Corsair fully modular 750 watt gold psu $220
    Lianli 215 high airflow case w/ 3 fans $120
    16gb ram $100
    I already have storage ssds and hdds (and i think this is the case for many pc users) but call that another $100 if you want.

    Total is $1010. I intend to spend around $900 on a nice 3070 during boxing day sales, which brings it to 1910. That's about $250 less than this prebuild for pretty much the same stuff, and you get your toy right now. Building took me about 1 and a half hours- it's really easy but you should check out some tutorials on line.

      That's a good build. Probably couldve saved another $70+ on the PSU and brought the price down even further. Well done. Not sure why this post has so many upvotes when as you pointed out, the cost of building it yourself is significantly cheaper.

  Hey, can someone tell me the overall experience with virco? Because im stuck between buying a pc from techfast and virco. Techfast seems to have quite a bit of problems with their pc build quality and the time it takes to ship their pc. Whereas virco doesnt seem to have many complaints in their comments, but they dont have as many comments compared to techfast. My turning factors between the two sellers would be the pc build quality and a guaranteed fast dispatch time (like the one on this post) so i know when i will be getting my pc, since the biggest issue with techfast for me were the dispatch time complaints. Can anyone give me some insight please.
