Think your OW link is off mate

    • Yeah..The link was over 328 characters long and it wouldn't take it so I only was able to show Office Works link…Sorry ):

    • Thanks Vinay :)

  • I got one from JB on the weekend where they have it for $329. I told the guy OW has them for $327 so he did it for $313!

    • Does it have Dolby Atmos?

Kinda like this design, the teardrop shape makes it nice to hold.

    • I disagree with you about this, its hard to hold it with 2 hands and too heavy for 1 hand (0.58kg, ).
      i returned for that reason.

Really? Theres flight out overseas then?

      • Sure, I've travelled twice since July. There's a process to apply and get travel exemption…

        .

        • Sounds too much hassle than its worth.

          • @xoom: Takes 2 minutes to apply and approval within 24 hours.

            Travel is for business reason…

            .

            • @w1nthrophy: Business travel i understand. My comment was more for the great unwashed travelling for leisure.

            • @w1nthrophy: No worries, all good.

S6 lite. Bought one for wife 2 weeks ago and flashed custom rom on it same day I brought it home.

      Can't stand stock Samsung.

Wife loves how light it is and quite powerful for her needs. Pen is a bonus for doodles.

        • Nice one! I got mine price patched to Amazon, at JB. And had free $100 from a Citibank promo. Similar price to yours after GC. :(

        • OzB Narrator: buy now think later

    • S6 lite has a horrible tft display which is terrible at any angle apart from looking at it directly in front. This one at least had a IPS panel. I ended up returning my S6 lite for a refund

    waiting for the duet deal..

    • Yes, waiting for this too… missed out on black friday deal.

I have both the Lenovo Yoga Smart Tablet 4 and the Lenovo Chomebook Duet. The Yoga Smart Tablet is good value, sound quality is better and I prefer the fold out stand, however Chromebooks receive frequent updates and offer more functionality and a keyboard is a useful accessory, so I would recommend the Chromebook Duet. Prices have been as low as $329. Hopefully there will be some specials after Christmas.

    • IMHO, the duet is better as a laptop (meaning, when it is used with a keyboard) than a tablet, especially the android apps. My recommendation would be the smart tablet for traveling.

      • +1

I disagree as the android apps I've tried on the Chromebook Duet work fine and the full build of Chrome enables you to workaround most websites that attempt to redirect you to download an app.

The biggest advantage of a Chromebook is frequent and regular updates. The Yoga Smart Tablet is stuck on Android 9 and receives very infrequent system updates.

    • Keen to know as well

    • Just got a Tab A7 and it's damn good for the money, especially if media consumption is your thing, which also seems to be what this Lenovo is geared toward.

I'd say a lot comes down to whether you like the grip/stand design of the Lenovo, and its potentially better speakers (can't find a comparison, but the A7 is quite good itself in this department). The Lenovo has a weaker CPU, will probably have a shorter software support period, and seems to have issues with the Netflix app not playing in HD.

    • One of the downsides for the Yoga Tab is hard to hold it with both hands,
and if u use it with one hand, u may have troubles with the 0.58kg weight.

  • Weight (kg) 0.58
