Question for people with an electric scooter
I have a regular kick scooter and have fallen off multiple times due to uneven sidewalks.
Do you think an electric scooter would be easier to ride or same in terms of falling risk?I never fall off mine - most of the falls I see are when people try to jump off when moving too quickly or they stop suddenly. Mine just coasts over the top of cracks and unevenness in the footpath, although often with an almighty bang as it’s a bit much for the suspension. You’ll get used to bunny hopping over them, slowing down and taking them softly, or just going straight over at full speed and tolerating the noise/bump.
Can you still kick off this scooter for umm exercise?
I live in Queensland. Is it legal to drive one this scooters without a helmet ?

Bicycle helmet is fine, I'd recommend a full face helmet if you were planning to do the max speed constantly for added protection however.
love my scooter i got from the last deal. i recently had a karen pull up on me blasting me if i paid 3rd party rego for my scooter and then threw her finger up at me.
we were in a quite road with no one around and i was hugging the curb to the point i was about to fall.
anyways my point is you might get some jealous karens wishing she had one of these babiesWhen I ride my bike, I always reply that I have a car too and I pay the same rego as them.

the only way to know is to look at the part number on the wheel. Starts with a 6 for gen 1 and 9 for gen 2

Just got mine, it's really fun. It says on the box Max speed is 25km/hr. But on flat the Max I can reach is 20km/hr. Did anyone else find this?

I got 2 of these.
One came with a ninebot 5 digit combo lock and the other didn’t.Now not sure if I got lucky on the one that came with the lock, or unlucky on the one that didn’t. Are they supposed to be packaged with a lock or not?

Mine starts with a 6. So gen 1 motor which is fine for me. I note difference between both gens is 6- more torque and less speed after modding and 9- less torque more speed.
