    Mine was cancelled.

    •

Did you get an email for cancellation? When did you order it?

I guess my cancellation is on the way too since I still haven’t got shipping info. :(

  •

Yeah, claimed it was a system error.

Just checked my Au post app on phone and there's a parcel been sent from Greenacre, Nsw yest at 8.26pm . I didn't order anything that i can remember so it must be the earphones. Guys go check your au post app, you maybe be the lucky one and didn't even know..lol

    •

What do you enter as the tracking number though? Have only received order confirmation email :(

      •

I didn't enter anything. Just opened the app and it poped up. Usually the notification comes in as soon as someone sends something under your registered name and address on aupost but i think my app was in deep sleep that is why i didn't received the notification yesterday for it.

        •

          Ahhh gotcha, thanks mate.

    •

Received that since last night, haven't see any movement. Considering no Telstra or auspost notification email. And nobody even is Sydney report received it.(normally startrack deliver Sydney order the next day.) Maybe this does not indicate anything at all.

      •

Could be just shipping information received and they pick it up today or Monday from the warehouse followed by delivery next day. Either way, it's not a bad thing

    •

      yeah got 2 tracking as I ordered 2 units…nice….

      •

        What time did you order?

        •

forgot , within few minutes after the post?

  • +1 vote

    No cancellation yet..

    Anyone else get a cancellation?

    • +6 votes

      No cancellation, no tracking…..just waiting

      •

        Waiting in the shadows

  • +12 votes

Well ordered when it was first posted, got the confirmation email, but nothing since. Not to fussed, if they send them all good, if not won't fret over it and presume they will reimburse the points. Each way bet I guess :)

Very mature of you. Not going to lie though, I'm still very much hoping for Christmas miracle. Lol.

Would benefit Telstra too. They could turn this into a relatively inexpensive marketing opportunity. If they were to honour this, at the very least it would incentivise more people to sign up in the hopes that something like this were to happen again and buy goodwill towards a company that sometimes struggles with its image. Look to Cathay Pacific when they honoured the super cheap business class fares last year I believe it was. That made the news.

  •

Anyone have tracking beyond Greenacre NSW on Thurs 17th Dec!?

    • +1 vote

      nope

    • +1 vote

I guess we can forget about it now. Like I said before maybe this tracking does not indicate anything. Chances are orders are going to be cancelled.

      •

Haha relaxxxxx, it’s postal/courier companies busiest time of year + it’s Telstra who are notoriously horrible with their delivery procedures. It’s only 11am on Monday after the tracking popped for some people last Thursday night. Still plenty of time for changes today ie: the item being possibly picked up.

Until you receive a cancellation confirmation via Telstra there’s still a good chance it’ll come. And even if you do receive a confirmation cancellation, it’s still Telstra so it still might come ;)

        •

Lol I got your point mate. I too had those tracking numbers. Just don't want to higher people's expections, in case we all get cancelled. Happy holiday.

                    • +6 votes

@ce5himm: I genuinely didn't think only giving them an order number and asking on progress of that order would flag anything.
But message received, I shall improve with my Ozbargaining… I am but a rookie… but willing to learn.

    Got an email from Telstra.
    ‘Hi,
A technical issue meant we listed the JBL Tune 120TWS Earbuds online in our Telstra Plus store for 149 points instead of 149,000 points. We know you placed an order for these earbuds but we’ve now cancelled the order.

We’re sorry for the confusion, and we’ll refund the 149 points back to your Telstra Plus balance.

If you wish to order the earbuds again you can do so for the correct 149,000 points.

    Devo, got the cancellation too.

  • +1 vote

Alas, got in in the first few minutes of the deal but still cancelled.

  • +2 votes

Lol I got the email today as well, Oh Well, got myself some Galaxy Buds+ with points I had forgotten about.

  • +10 votes

149000 points are worth $447. So even the cancellation email is wrong. The earbuds go for $99. The RRP is $149. Someone clearly entered RRP as the points. Telstra plus store 1000 points are worth $3 product RRP.

    •

      Shouldn’t have bought 3 for 149000 each

  •

Anyone got lucky and actually got the product delivered?

  • +1 vote

Order cancelled. Never got a tracking number so kinda expected that.

  • +1 vote

Order cancelled too, oh well, worth a shot!

  • +1 vote

    Order cancelled, too.
    Party is over.

  • +1 vote

scar4ace I ordered 2 earbuds and only received one cancellation email.

Read my own comment back and made me sound like I ordered a hell of alot more than I actually did……

  • +8 votes

I reckon there's still a fair chance of receiving them.

Based on past experience, I doubt Telstra a capable of processing a cancellation without stuffing up…

    • +5 votes

For once, I actually agree with you!

    •

      Or 20 refunds of 149

  • +1 vote

Weird, I received the same email it’s cancelled but I received tracking number and it’s at the facility processing. I’m not sure how Telstra can recoup all of the earbuds sent if they mean it.

    •

Tbh, I'd say they can't request the items to be returned midtransit, when it's already arrived at a startrack facility, but if it does happen, that's fair enough considering it was a pretty big price error.

      • +1 vote

Its doable. Have done that with Amazon and auspost. In tracking it shows up as rejected by customer and return to depot.

Amazon rep. Mentioned we can intercept delivery so that you don't need to repost for refund. Also as they dont need to check the item status, got instant refund as well.

      •

Happened to me. They got as close as the next suburb over (in ADL) on Friday morning and then re-consigned and sent back to Greenacres Monday afternoon.

        •

My tracking just updated to "transferred". So that means, its definitely getting recall back to Telstra?

          •

@cloudie9: If you check the tracking link they sent you, under Consignment Tracking you may see that it has been re-consigned and given a new consignment number. You can then alter the tracking ID in the URL to track the new one returning to Greenacres.

I ordered mine an hour before this post was created, so I doubt anyone on here will receive them.

    •

If you are talking about GREENARCE, I think many people get that, could be a system automatic thing. Once Telstra cancelled, it won't exist. By any chance people actually got it, Sydney ozbargainer should receive it today? Wait for report

  • -2 votes

Got cancelled and get 149000 points back… Hmm still winning..

    •

When did you got cancellation email? I have got cancellation email 1 hour back but haven't got points yet.

      • +2 votes

        but haven't got points yet.

That'll probably take about 6 months after you contact the TIO.

        •

Yes I agree JV but Kooratz got 149000 points back .. already

          • +2 votes

            @AshFon: Kooratz is likely trolling…

          •

@AshFon: They will claw back extra points. They did it with me like a month back. they gave me 2500 random points plus access to Gold service and then few days later clawed both back claiming it was system "glitch".

            •

@prisonmike: Yea I've had it also. Accidentally gave me 50k points and then clawed it back after a few days. Was pissed I didn't buy something

              • +1 vote

@R3XNebular: Well I am pretty lucky with telstra, got couple free phones, telstra tv, google hub, couple of Google home mini and the last one was extra 30k points from buying xbox series x. Bought jbl soundbar studio for it. All of those free… They love me!!

    •

I also got cancelled, but the email mentions only refunding 149 points, and am yet to see that in the Rewards Store.

  • +1 vote

Just received cancellation email. Order just after 2pm

    •

      How many did you ordered?

      • +2 votes
        1. I'm not greedy.
  • +2 votes

Cancellation. Here's hoping they refund 149000points!

  • +7 votes

for a major company that cancellation was a written by a moron, have to laugh at how they said it's meant to be 149,000 points ummm yeah ok so these $99 earbuds are worth more then apple airpods pro ($399 rrp) at 132,000 points, just say it was a error & you're refunded..

      Got my points back.. bummer

  • +3 votes

My tracking is showing the order was sent from SYD to ADL late last week, got to the local depot on Friday and was then re-consigned and sent back to SYD yesterday.

    •

I think they're scrambling to stop the consignments going out. Mine just says transferred in the same place (Greenacre NSW).

      • +1 vote

Mine seems to be stuck behind the driver's seat in the Australia Post van.
