No one questions these deals? If you're not paying for a product, you're the product.

You're not supposed to question anything, just comply, consume, say hey google, alexa, siri, feed me, feed me, use me, abuse me ^_^

    • Nope only you

Precisely, someone listed in the previous deal that the company who owns Cyberghost has been caught selling user data.

    • I don’t see a problem here. Do you not use any free tech products? Apply your best judgment and use it as per your use case. If one is looking to watch US Netflix, use their paid VPN, for FREE after cashback and enjoy. What data are you worried about?

    • sometimes their plan is to get you used to the product, so it becomes easier to just extend your subscription than swap to another service.

  • Is it possible to request a refund from Cyberghost if the Shopback tracking doesn't work?

    • +1

Should be using thier money back guarantee - 45 days. https://www.cyberghostvpn.com/en_US/money-back-guarantee

      • However Shopback takes 90 days to payout on Cyberghost.

        • Shopback hands over user data to people who breach their system security faster than they make payouts to the people who use their platform.

Still waiting for my cashback for the VPN from the previous deal.

err $120 is a bit of a gamble

    • Agree! They might cancel the cashback with no reason. So I cancelled few days ago…

  • I can’t see anything about have to buy 3 years. Can I buy 1 year and still get 100% cashback?

  • Will they payout 100% cashback if you select the dedicated ip option?

    • That's my question too.

      • Took the gamble, and only the cashback on the base plan ($122) has tracked. :-(

Really hope the remaining amount for the dedicated IP ($251) either tracks later, or else I can cancel & get a refund … Otherwise, taking this gamble is going to leave a big hole in my wallet.

  • why do people need VPN?

I heard people saying you can subscribe YouTube membership, Amazon prime membership by using VPN.

but how much are you saving exatly, does it worlth the effort doing all of this?

I am tempted, yet not sure if I should go for it.

So some people use vpn because they think the Scott Morrison or the Chinese government is spying on them, so they need to be protected.

For normal people, vpn can be great for like getting cheap Netflix, where in Turkey it is like 40% of the cost, also getting access to American Netflix or indian YouTube for like $3/month or like cyberpunk was around $36 using Russian VPN on pre order compared to $60+ in Australia etc..

You save a lot of money long term if you use for stuff like that.

  • Ordered the VPN 90 mins ago, still no tracking yet.

    • Tracked. Took about 2 hours.

      • Users of their service are literally tracked, ironic when these are often used for privacy.

  • ShopBack 20% code is dropping in and out and 4HOURS code vanished long before 2pm. Decided against booking hotel stay as if code isn’t stable then I’m worried that it won’t be applied.
