Arlo 2 offer isn't working for either RACV40 or RACV20
Maybe Arlo is trying to drop prices to compensate for the woeful video quality (due to excessive bitrate compression at their end) and the unbelievably bad two factor authentication system they are implementing.
Arlo used to be good when it was part of Netgear, but now they are just a bunch of dimwits who apparently don't give a damn about their customers, and are just manipulating things through forced firmware updates to save themselves some cash.
Buyer beware.
Please be mindful Arlo don't off a free subscription service for cloud storage anymore.
You now have to pay $4.5 per month for 1 camera, and $15 for anything more than 1 camera.
they still provide free cloud storage for arlo 2 and below.
The right balance is the Pro 2. Pro 3 and Ultra have been cooked by Arlo.
The video quality on the Pro 2 has been wrecked by the ridiculous bitrate compression by Arlo. They may be technically 1080P, but the video looks more like 480P - useless for anything security related - too pixelated.
I prefer reolink argus 2 with solar panel..no fee. $110 delivered

I have had the Pro 2s for over a year now.
They didn't even email me that they were getting rid of it, I only noticed when I didn't have any footage for a few days on the Arlo mobile App

Incorrect. Up to Pro 2 is free 7 days.
2 months ago my local good guys had the Arlo Pro 2 VMS4230P kit on their clearance table for only $150!!
I could not believe it, nor could the employee picking it off the shelves for me.
I wonder if I can still price match with my receipt…
Don't buy Arlo. Getting too expensive. No proper customer support.
