Seems like a good deal seeing as almost the same product is currently $499 at JB HiFi (which is $100 off RRP), looks like you just miss out on the crevice tool (thanks @RichardL for picking up this difference).
I wish I'd seen this before I brought mine from JB.
It may be possible to get a furhter 3% off through using ShopBack.
I hope this helps someone out.

  Note the JB Hi-Fi model you're comparing to is slightly different (Dyson V7 Motorhead Origin vs Dyson V7 Motorhead).

  From what I can tell, the only difference is the colour and the Crevice tool.

  When the Dreame v9 is less than this, and equal to or better than the Dyson V8, this should be a pass. Better battery life too.

    Might look at the Dreame now, i was going to buy two Dyson V7 during black friday when it was $379 everywhere, but not at this price.

    Never heard of Dreame - is it a respectable brand like Dyson? Claimed battery life might be better, but if it loses capacity after two-three years, then it's a poor investment. If.

    edit: I see Dreame is Xiaomi. Still not sure about getting Xiaomi instead of Dyson at this price difference.

  I have a v7 animal. It works very well. I would definitely get a vacuum with a HEPA filter over the motor head though.

    Just as an FYI the motorhead does have post motor HEPA filter. It is the cord free models that do not.

  I called & they are out of stock of the Motörhead, but they did the one below for $399 delivered.
  It doesn’t have HEPA, but that’s ok.
