$10 off The 2012 Golf Passport (Pay $29 Instead of $39)

60
2012OFFER

Came across this one the other day, and bought one for my dad for Christmas. Seems like a great buy for anyone that plays golf - think I'm going to buy another one for myself, and the Mrs wants one for her dad too.

  • Play free rounds of golf at over 235 courses across Australia
  • Including private and championship courses
  • More than 280 special offers
  • Up to $9,000 in green fee savings
  • Money back guarantee (if you're not satisfied with the book, you can apparently get your money back)

Just be aware, there are conditions with the offers in the book - as in, you can only play on certain days, buy 1 get 1 free, buy 2 get 1 free, and buy 3 get 1 free.

Regardless, at $29 (instead of the usual $39) it's a bargain. As many of the courses, their green fees are more than this, so you only need to use it once to save your money.

  • This looks great - what's the catch?

    • From what I can tell, some individual courses have their own conditions (i.e. can only play some courses Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays), and the book is valid until December 31 next year, that's about it. Oh, and it looks like each offer is signed off by the club when it's been used, so you can only use each offer once. However, some courses have multiple offers.

  • i bought 2011 and used it twice with courses near me - all worked, so was stoked. just bought one for myself and one for the father-in-law as a chrissy present… hope there's no issues with 2012 edition (they're promising pre-delivery before xmas - cross fingers)

looks like they changed their site as well - a lot easy to use

downside: can't book online and no addresses and phone numbers on their site - a pain when the book is in the golf bag…
