You need a brand new account to use both codes … if you've already ordered from them previously, you need to create a new one and then sign in the account before using them …

    • +2

      $50 …

    • +8

      Bro.. read.

  • So anyway, is the jacket any good?

    • +8

Look at it, it's hideous. Give it to your local bum in Martin place.

    • +6

Light weight, wax+rayon= semi water proof is all that is going for it.
RRP is ridiculous. Designed in Australia, prob made in Bangladesh for 50c.

      • +5

The kids making this in Bangladesh would not appreciate your comment. This is below them.

      • Isn't the RRP compatible with designed by Apple, made in China & sold for >$2,000? Without charger or earphones!!
        Extra 256GB $350 vs 1TB 540GB/s Samsung T5 $108 (5.5x7.5cm 50g), including USB-C to USB-C & UCB-A 3.1 gen2 fast charging cables :)

  • It's coming up as promo code no longer valid😢

    • Did you sign in? Just worked for me?

      • No didn't, I'll try that EDIT Thanks OP and SirNoble works. Should've read the post properly

  • How do you calculate the size?

  • +14

what makes this jacket worth $399, looks like piece of s**t.

    • +21

      the price tag

    • +1

price is what you pay - value is what you get. In this case price >> value

    • +1

It is worth what ppl will pay…that seems to be $59.

    • +2

Feel free to post a picture of yourself so that we can judge your wardrobe choices.

    • +4

Agree with logic for ridiculous price inflation, but disagree that the post deserves a negative. Its not like OP sets those prices. OP just passing on the message of a sale.

    • What does the RRP have to do with it? The deal is for $59 which, although ugly, Sportscraft clothes is generally pretty decent. They are built to last.

  • +2

Thanks OP. Will go well with the shoes posted by save50 the other day!

  • +1

    Worked. Thanks

  • +3

The jacket looks awful and the colour is strange.

    • Well said. You can't polish a turd

      • I dunno man. Bankstown and Parramatta shopping centre makeup artists have gotten pretty good at it.

        • How do you know? Is that where you go?

          • @brotherfranciz: I'm a scary looking fisherman with a big beard and superman muscles. I dont need to look good, because my lassy is.

  • +1

What's the easter egg here? Sportscraft, is it decent quality with lastability?

  • +2

How many fields do I need to visit in order to make this purchase worthwhile?

  • +4

Can someone explain why this jacket is worth $400

  • +14

its RRP $149 at david jones, discounted to $99….

i think sportscraft are a bit optimistic with their $399 retail price!

I love it how they are highlighting that it was designed in Australia

      • +4

and there we have the A$399 price tag explained.

        • It was also posted and delivered in Australia.

          • @fuzor: lets not forget also consumed in Australia as well during Covid…

    • +1

That $149 could be already discounted price, as David Jones does this at times.

    • +1

Pricehipster says this jacket was at David Jones for $399.95 back in August.

  • Can probably find the same shit on aliexpress for half the price

  • +7

Nice find OP. I don't get all the hate, style is subjective.
If you have an opinion against it, give a reason to justify it and be prepared to defend your view - or else its just a rude comment bordering cyber bullying.

    • +2

Agreed. I quite like the style. In the middle of summer i am not typically looking at jackets, but this summer has been a chill one.

    • +1

Exactly my thoughts, walking on the streets, 90% of guys dress worse than the product photo shown.

    • +2

Going by trending deals on OzBargain, I would say everybody wears CT shirts and Ultraboosts.

    • How is voicing one's opinion on a fashion item considered cyber-bullying?

      • +4

You misread my comment. It is rude and 'bordering' cyber bullying.

Imagine OP was a young guy, thinks he found something that looks cool but isn't entirely confident about his choice.
Then comes a bunch of pretty harsh opinions without any reason, he might feel insecure about his choice because maybe when a few people say similar things, it might be true.
He might decide to cancel his order, or possibly when he gets it and tries it on, he feels those opinions stronger than his own.
Imagine if those opinions came with some reasoning, the young guy could decide if those apply to him and either take them on or discard it.

Yes, its a made up scenario - but this kind of stuff happens all the time.
This is just one of many realistic examples.

Also consider, would it be acceptable to speak to strangers like this in public? No, its more than just rude.

  • +1

I got the exactly same jacket, but I have to say I dont even remotely looks like him when I had this on…………………………………..

    Nice jacket though…………….

    • +2

you need to use a different camera

  • +1

    Ordered a jacket.

  • No jackets required in QLD, ever.

    • +1

…then why are you even in here?

  • +1

RRP $3999 but for you a low low price of $99 super good deal right… Right?

  • +8

Why is there so many douches on here commentating on the jacket. If you don't like it don't buy it…move on

    • -5

Hmm, sounds like someone bought this jacket at RRP…

  • +1

Can someone tell me why this jacket is bad / ugly?
I know fashion is subjective but come on.
Hmm.. Perhaps it is the kids these days who are out of touch and not me.

    • +5

I'm just over 40 and think the style is fine. What sort of kid bracket would I fit into?

    • +5

Going by the popularity of some fashion 'deals' posted on OZB (usually garish, fast-fashion crap), I wouldn't be looking to the OZB community for an indication of what is or is not fashionable.

      • +1

Hey man ultraboosts with my macpac down jacket all day errday!

        (Funnily enough I have neither)

  • +23

I would honestly love to see photos of people who comment on here 😂😂😂

Forget the price, it's actually a nice jacket. No offence, but I wouldn't take fashion advice from 99% of people on OzB who buy $9 shoes which are yellow.

    • +6

      … dont forget their cashbacks

  • +2

Bought a few months ago for around $100. RRP is wishful thinking but it is a decent jacket. I like the colour and style.

  • +5

Our Stone Field Jacket is made from a lyocell and cotton blend with a wax coating for shower-proof properties.

Wouldn't it be easier to just take off the jacket before you have a shower?

  • Code not working for me?

  • +1

Thanks for posting! I bagged one

  • Can't use. Tried brand new account

    • Same. But getting $20 off for first time user

  • cost price for something like this FOB China is $20-$25.
Good on sportscraft for roping in anyone to pay full price. $60 seems like an half decent price tho better if it was $40ish

  • dang, I should have waited, it's so much cheaper now :(

  • Code ANNIVERSARY not working after creating a new account. ONLINE20 works. Cost with shipping $89.99. I will pass. Thanks for post OP.

  • created new account and codes don't work

  • Thanks OP didn't get the Jacket but got other stuff, both codes worked great got 3 separate orders worked out cheaper even with the $10 postage on each than placing 1 order. Just tried again and Anniversary no longer works.

  • +4

I’ve seen better jackets, but if you’re put off by the negative comments you have to remember this is OzBargain where this belt is frequently upvoted and the Macpac Halo jacket is considered the epitome of style.

  • Picked mine up today. I can see why it was so heavily discounted. I’m not sure it’s even worth $59. Cut is boxy and material is terrible. Also not thick or warm

    • The size is also a bit bigger then i was expecting. Im almost 1.8m high and went for medium but the sleves are a little too long. A small would have been a better fit it seems.

      • Fold the cuffs inwards
