If you care about animal welfare, why support this? Even 'free range' eggs involve a lot of the same horrific practices as caged eggs, like beak mutilation and male chick maceration/gassing.

Free range is a myth spoke to many farmers who say free range means they have "access" to a yard but really don't even use it, it's all marketing BS

I fail to ssee how one can make a profit selling eggs at these prices. Surely buying chicken feed alone would cost more, let alone the wages, real estate, packaging etc…
