[VIC] Bosch Professional Blue Cordless Impact Wrench Skin GDS 18 V-EC 250 $139 (Was $207) @ Bunnings Nunawadding

110

High torque model, $269 at total tools.
On clearance, Nunawadding had about 4-5 and one on display.
Didn’t buy as don’t need the torque as have brushless model already and find it fine for DIY.

Just a heads-up to any DIY enthusiasts. This is a 1/2" wrench and not a 1/4" which means it doesn't fit the standard phillips-heads, square drive, bugle bits etc without an adaptor. Good price for sure but generally for big sockets etc.

It's mostly for working on cars. Get an impact driver (not wrench) if you want to use with bits.

Do other stores normally have the same price or match?

    • Generally store decide on their own for clearance items, they may have no stock, you may need to talk them into it or you may even do better.

      • which means you can buy a clearance item from one store and return it unopened to another store without the receipt to get a credit voucher at the other store’s higher price. just saying.

Looks like only 300nm model on Bunnings website.

  • Don’t forget to register to extend your warranty to a whopping 6yrs https://webapp.bosch.de/warranty/locale.do?localeCode=en_AU

  • bosch pulled a lot of dealerships a couple of years ago, just tools don’t have them anymore, sydney tools don’t, and they got bunnings shelf space , and total tools still carry them. i’ve been seeing a lot of these “older model” clearances for bosh at bunnings in the last 6 months, just need to find the ideal start pack to buy into their eco system, the $399 deal had the latest impact driver but only mid range drill.
my current kit is makita and ozito brushless,

    • This was another great deal brushless with single 8A battery, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/457984 hope you get something like it this year. I sold my older brushed tools and lower capacity charger with some smaller batteries so was a cheap upgrade/6yr warranty refresh.
