    Watch the hardware unboxed reviews of both
    I would say the M27Q is best Bang for Buck for budget High Refresh 1440p with better contrast
    The Dell is better overall (as its RRP suggests it is competing in the more premium 1440p category) with worse contrast - also provided you don't mind waiting

    Out of the box colour needs adjusting (easy to do), and slightly slower response times but makes up for it with virtually no overshoot. Also better contrast ratio than the Dell. If you're deciding between the two, I'd just grab this one.

  I remember when anything more than 60hz on an IPS was a dream. You'd have to import experimental monitors from Korea if you really wanted it.

  Damn I pulled the plug today on an omeni27. Was looking for a something similar for sometime. Dell was gonna be delivered in 35 days. This looks good on specs.

  Keep in mind, this is a BGR not RGB monitor.

  Be prepared for some blurry ass text in some apps until the software catches up to the hardware.

  Or get a VESA mount and install it upside down, so its RGB subpixels again.

  ive been trying to find a teardown, because id love to invert the panel internally.

    I don't think you need a seperate VESA mount to install it upside down. The mount that comes with it could be flipped pretty trivially by the looks of it.

    Apparently some people on reddit had problems enabling GSYNC when upside down, so ymmv

          @zuccs: No, its not a joke, the subpixels are built in reverse order.

          And yes, mounting it upside down fixes that.
