[Pre Order] MSI RTX 3060 TI VENTUS 2X OC Video Card $683 + Delivery @ Skycomp

161

Found this deal searching far and wide, a decent deal for AUS. I would buy one if the wait wasnt 3 months. None the less I thought some might find it helpful

Not in stock and a 3 month wait? Where is the bargain?

    • -4

It is the best price I've seen so far so that qualifies as a bargain. However 8 to 12 weeks is a long time with 3060 12gb, and possibly 3050, 3050ti and 3070ti being launched in coming months. That may mean better deals on this card, or a good deal on another model.

Terms say preorders can cancel at any time up until they start picking and packing the order, so if wanting this card, it's probably a safe pre order.

Customer may request a cancellation of your order, provided your order has not already been Processed and in the Pending/Processing status.

Edit: if it actually takes that long, I suspect most here would end up cancelling for better deal by then

3 months waiting is a joke

    • +3

Way too long. Whole graphic card market can change in that time.

  • Buy eth and get a 3080ti in 3 month

    • Probably not in the same budget, and possibly triple this price. Different target buyer for 3080ti, and I'll be watching launch stock discord channels closely for a good deal on one when it launches (late Feb rumoured)

I think you missed their point of buying eth…

        • Totally did! Then again, we could just blame the miners for the stock shortage in the first place :)

      I bought meth, now what?

      • -1

        he said eth, not meth.

        • +2

          Uh oh

    • Why not buy ten 3060ti cards at $800 and mining for 3 months, if they are solar panel powered.

  • +1

In three months there should already be plenty of stock and with the strength of our dollar I would expect the price to be lower than this among other things.

  • MSI RTX 3060 TI GAMING X TRIO also available for $715. Seems like a pretty good deal for a 3 fan card.

    • Yeah saw that. decent value

      • I reckon could be worth the extra $30 if noise levels matter. Tad faster too. Good to see prices becoming a bit more reasonable

@Pointy I tried to PM you but it's turned off. Posting here in case it helps others…

I joined this group a few days back and it's been really active. Could be worth joining while you're searching far and wide.

Using one of their links I put in an EYO Tech order early Sat AM for an MSI Suprim X 3070 for $933 delivered, with 3 in stock at supplier. I reckon it will not be honoured, but find out tomorrow.

    Now it's OZWAITING

There's going to be way better deals in the long 3 months wait times and prices will come down

3 month wait for a 2-fan? I don't think the target consumer (or anyone, for that matter) would wait around that long

  • Do you know what's funny. This, and the 3 fan MSI were both in-stock this morning for those prices. I passed on it as I am still wondering what to do with my next PC. 3070 should be $700-$750 in 3 months time.

    • You could just wait another 6 months after your six and go next gen..

      • Next series won't be out until end of year. For me there would be no point waiting for next series cards to release. The 3060ti/3070 has great performance at good RRP (when they finally get to RRP). My upgrade path will be one of those, followed by a card from a new series in roughly 2-2.5 years time. By then most cards will be standard 10-12gb, but all games I'll be playing won't need more than 8 anyway.

Still running a 1070 on 1440p. Still works great although as soon as one of these come out at rrp I’ll grab one

  • I need a 3080/6800XT. Anything. Ugh. Pref without waiting 3 months.

  • 3 months wait?!?!? sourcing from Jupiter….lol
