Awesome price for an lte version. Great watch… just works

    • Sadly LTE access only on expensive mobile plans. Will cost more every year than the watch.

LTE version has more ram and battery life, I'll wait for alimobile to support esim.

I'm also with Aldi. they will most likely not do it due to their contractual restrictions with telstra. So don't hold your breath

      • Sure about that? I dont recall seeing that limitation with Telstra/Optus/VF..so long as you have a supported Samsung phone and the watch is also supported, the carrier should be able to provision an eSIM for it for an additional fee of $5 for all three carriers.

Can confirm no need for expensive plan. I contacted Optus yesterday and this is being added for $5/month on my $30 plan.

  • hows the battery life like?

    Thanks op, got 3

  • Great watch I have this and it's awesome

  • I owned the Samsung Gear S3 and found Tizen wasn't really for me.
Didnt like that you were stuck with the Samsung store for watch faces and apps. (I use Google Rewards for the credit)
Stuck with Samsung Pay especially with Myki coming out on Google Pay.

Are these much the same? Im holding out for OnePlus watch or rumored pixel watch

I only recently discovered that you don't have to go through the Samsung store for faces. Theres an app called Facer that you can use that has tonnes of faces. Works well on my Active2.

  • Why's it specifically marked as "US Version"? Are there any differences?

    • US power brick, international warranty

    • Might have lte band issue

    • maybe samsung pay doesn't work?

  • No samsung pay, no 2 year local warranty. No deal. Cheaper if you can price match at ow with rebel sports
